Full Proof of My Being

I swear my world was frozen
When my confidence was stolen.
I swear My vocal pipes were broken
While my purpose was offloading,

And painful it was,
that I was just watching
When everything was fading
But I did nothing.

Course I felt powerless.
But a second chance life gave me
And I used it.
I used situations as a motivation,
For restoration.

Flashbacks!!!
When the storm hit my garden,
When running to my darkest room has been an option
Locking the door and thinking the worst,
That was depression.

But Positivity over ruled fortunately,
And in the midst you appeared fortunately,
And your story changed mine
And I know mine changed yours.

You came in Acoustically and not abysmally
You appeared angelically and not dramatically,
And basically, you are the one
Who pragmatically gave my life a hymn

And I feel, that is why my soul
Is literally linked to yours.

Wishfully Remembering

Nostalgia trumps memory
when looking back

The bad fading gray
offloading the black

Sparse moments of joy
though far and between

Now color our feelings
—as red turns to green

The Transferable Tourist

The transferable tourist

The old ship striped like a rusty zebra
one, that has survived the big storms and attacked
by sea monsters how she still floated was a mystery.
From one obscure port to another, her captain had
forgotten how it felt to be sober.

She was like an old horse that knew its way by instinct.
Offloading clandestine crates, rats in the cargo hold.
When did the vermin come, and what was their destiny?
Morning in La Plata, tonight we will go ashore
in Buenos Aires eat fresh meat and dance the tango

I bought myself, some gifts today
drove home, but threw them way
No big surprise, I’m losing the will
    offloading things, brings me thrills
    Again desperate, must order more
getting funny looks, in the gun store

Soldier's 4th of July

He sits on the edge of the hill
his abode from a society
that shattered his dreams

he can hear the echo of thunder
in the valley below
see bombs of color burst all around
as he looks for a place to take cover

his mind is cocked
and fully loaded
he knows the constitution well
the second amendment
his right to bear arms
and his hopes of survival

he sees the tallies of bodies
of those that have fallen before him
as he crawls on the ground
like a lioness on the prowl
unaware the war has ended
through dissociation
of past and present

he sees the same scene
over and over in his mind
mines exploding,
soldiers imploding
planes offloading
guns reloading
his thoughts overloading

he lapses back
to the current moment
as the grand finale ends
and silence falls

the only sensual touch he knows
is from his faithful dog
who remains by his side
he pets his head
towers to his feet
as he wipes a tear
from his face

Their Peace Like a Blanket

To my home, the words take me
  each calling by name

Tearing walls from around me
  passion free, unrestrained

Their visions at midnight
  have lulled me to sleep

Their message when troubled
  my nightmare to greet

Through the long and the short
  it’s the words once again

Like the tide on the shore,
  they return as a friend

And lately I’m hearing
  an echoed refrain

From verses long distant
  offloading my pain

These words that I hear
  more whisper than shout

And what I once questioned,
  I no longer doubt

Through my voice they’re respoken
  to shield me from harm

Their peace like a blanket
   —under which I am warm

My Brother's Pain

I heard it was raining
I saw him sighing
It was my brother, breaking
'Oh', how he was aching
I could not bare him shaking
He made my soul broken
His pain had my brain exploding
It felt as though he was offloading
Everything he said, needed decoding
How I wish he would stop downloading
These words needed encoding.

My brother's pain was upsetting
His tears looked as though he was sweating
I couldn't get what he was saying,
All he did was crying
It look as though he was dying
Nothing I said,was satisfying
I even tried testifying
His face looked horrifying
Jesus he needs purifying.

Droplets of Tears

O tears from where art thou coming?
The traces of crimson corners of eyes
or
Pulsating emotional chambers of the heart
Which have dropped you in solitaire confinement to behold ?
Colorless,
Odorless,
Tasteless,
Are you price less too??
It is at the cost of flooding miseries
or
Hurting pains that you flow in immense stream,
or
The joy of subdued pleasure which brings you in being
Offloading baggage sometimes overloading precedences
Bring you here for us to survive.
Emotional underestimation is such a crime
We often undertake while you wash us through

Midnight Act

MIDNIGHT ACT
 Like a baby, she screams
Screaming like a radiant rat
Oh my god! Ohs! To the power of the one
That held her down, the gentle voice in the act of vigour
A voiceless cry singing : no woman no cry

When she saw her mate
She feels better to have, the heat that
Warms in a cool night
She hug, kiss, and caressed
Offloading herself to the nakedness of the mignight

When she enters the bed to meet
The high moving feelings in a hot dig
She voiced, softly in a action packed acts

Niger Delta

NIGER DELTA

The Atlantic Ocean is your neighbor,
With its marine creatures in them
Your vegetations are your pride.

But the God of creation kept back something
In your earth, yes the black GOLD.
These have attracted the good the bad in
The name Exploration

Is exploration for the good all your children,
Still pursued, or the exploitation for the benefit of few
Every day vessels are loading out but none is
Offloading foods and drugs for your children

Deltas are howling for justice and equity
But the explorers and exploiters demand peace
Will it be too much to get schools, roads, and water
In exchanged for the black GOLD As a sign of justice

Will hostage taking bring development NO Deltas
But dialogue will, never stop crying for your Dues
Tell them it your rights and not privilege
For JUSTICE brings peace and not peace justice
