Out of Stocks

I bought myself, some gifts today
drove home, but threw them way
No big surprise, I’m losing the will
    offloading things, brings me thrills
    Again desperate, must order more
getting funny looks, in the gun store

Should I make a call for help for you, David? That's quite a bite of words.

Thanks Jenna, I’m fine, but this character I’m portraying is on the verge of a breakdown, the whole idea was to sound detached, yet menacingly volatile, the word choice is purposely unsettling, cheers David

A well-written bite-sized poem that conveys both joy and dismay. Nevertheless, we need to earn more money to regain the thrilling quality and a certain degree of self-esteem, attitude, and confidence. Have a great weekend, dear friend, and best wishes for the contest.
