The LILT of a DIAPHONOUS melody
Clothed in night blooming perfumes
Lingers as sheer smiles of honeyed moonlight
Glide across the still LAGOON
In streams of silk ripples
Humming wistful music
In the hollows of blue dusk
And hallowed shimmer of adagios
A pastoral pause, to rest
In soft hymns of lingering grace notes.

Everything is dark,
the black moon provides no light.
It seems there
is nothing outside,
all is asleep.

But listen!

Listen
to the wise hoot of the owl,
and the rhythmic tapping of
invisible rain on the window.

Listen
to the sweet violins of crickets,
and the gentle
whisper of the trees.

Listen
to the opera of wolves
howling in praise
of Mother Earth,

and listen
to the comforting
silence of the stars.

Light only distracts us
from the beautiful song of nature
only darkness can bring forth;

her most beautiful symphony,
the sweet song that is the night.

Stars
Scattered
Across her
Beautiful face
Would glow when she smiled,
Her eyes the moon and sun.
It's a love as peaceful as
The neverending depths of space;
Please hold me close within your orbit,
I want to be held in your rotation.
For as long as the planets travel,
Supernovae brightly collapse,
And infinity reaches,
I will always love you.
Let these light-years pass
Until I'm worn
And become
Stardust
Too.

(murder mystery or not? In Senryus)

She wore red lipstick,
so their first kiss would be like
classic cinema.

She got it on his
clothes, in case he was, you know,
married or something

“If I were rich I’d
collect beautiful things like
you.” (he'd said.. awkward?)

Her silence was the
most articulate thing that
he’d misread, so far.

He said “you’re so real,”
she thought, “Ok, I’m seen, he gets
that I am alive.”

She’d archived his chats
like something that might be proof
of a crime someday

Premium MemberA BEAUTIFUL DARK NIGHT

A BEAUTIFUL DARK NIGHT

Although there’s no moon,
The dark night is beautiful—
It’s sky, filled with stars.
Bright stars watching over us
In dark night serenity:-

Premium MemberBreathless

The moon gazes with romantic pleasure
Upon a stimulating obsidian hue.
Whilst burning, a shooting star catapults
Through a boundless sky.
It's beautiful, picturesque,
Softly glowing against darkness.
It spins gracefully in luminous,
Resonant movement of life's dust.
Lost to an ebbing wave of silent cries,
Left breathless like a fluttering glint of pearls.
Savoring budding moments like there's no tomorrow;
Birds' hymns lull mine into weightless sleep.
As silence slowly drifts away
In a gentle cascade of release.

Reddish orange fingers
slowly undress the day,
revealing her true soul
of warm, gentle black.

Night dances with abandon
over my head,
flashing her eyes,
winking at me, laughing.

A glowing crescent mouth
smiles with seduction,
glittering with pleasure,
pleased at my watching.

Daisy dark moonlight denizen of dream beds. Red rose scents beneath diamond crusted space Dawn will come too soon. Daisy grace come what breezes may still placid still pretty. Wonder waits in cool shadows with red Mars in sight. Daisy smiles greet blooms in the night. Redbirds sing in plum skies. Pink butterfly's done roaming beautiful blackness.

Premium MemberUpon the Edge of Night

Upon the edge where fading day departs,
A silver hush descends, the world grown still,
Soft shadows gather close, in gentle arts,
And wistful breezes through the hollows spill.

The golden west surrenders light’s bright thrill,
As dusky veils enfold the silent land,
Quiet longing as the heart beats at will
While stars awaken at the night’s command.

Memory drifts as grains across the sand,
Dreams emerge from twilights enchanted scheme,
Uncertain futures waiting to be planned,
As hope and fear entwine within the dream.

So stand I poised, as twilight claims its right,
To cross the threshold - on the edge of night.

Premium MemberRainbows in the Dark

Righteous sing to the bright star in the sky.
Hymns of faith, devotion and love vibrate
through the entire body, speaking within
one’s skin to the finger tips…blaring while
scaring the long-awaited dreams from their
roost near an old oak in your mind’s chest.
Graceless and faithless villains caterwaul;
the old toss coins into the fountain of youth.
Virus’ knock daily upon my locked door
of which I will never answer those calls.
In dreams, I see paths to the waiting trains;
Toys lay in the dead leaf fodder on the path
a lovely doll’s face, her blue eyes stained
staring towards the musty decrepit squalor
trudging along the dark path I lift my gaze;
Truths lying dormant for decades bleed into
the night sky, creating rainbows in the dark.

Night,
rustles,
shrill alert,
shadow drifter,
who might gaze upwards,
at an alluring moon’s,
hide and seek dark coal sky squint,
to peer between the clouds and smirk,
phantasmic star, its beam that signal,
to post wee small hours mortal on a quest

A FALL’S NIGHT WINTER PRELUDE

The thunder roars,
The lightening sneaks
Piercing peeks
Through the darkness;
Cosmic tears gently flow
Down with beautiful
Splashing rhythms;
The pitter-pattering melody
Echoes throughout the night,
Caressing the mind and soul
With moisturizing serenity:-
Ironically, this will soon become
A scene of casper-like flakes,
Quietly floating down in the night,
Slowly laying their crystal-white carpet:-

IN LUNAR FULLFILLMENT

Seemingly, hanging in place,
As the nightly world turns,
The smiling fingernail
Crescent moon looks
Down at her
Companion,
Little Venus:-
Both confidently shining in self-assurance
Of the coming canvassing of the crescent
Into its full mooning of the full ebon night:-
Oh, if only I could find a wet word-brush
To canvass this celestial performance
Whose cosmic beauty the evening
Ebon beauty is quietly reflecting:-
However, mere lexical letters
Can’t mirror this sky-beauty:-
However, praise be,
Our eyes’ mind can
Mirror this beauty
Of night’s sky
Canvassing
Glory to us:
