All hustle calms and settles in their nest,
invisible silence rings,"time for rest"
lullaby doesn't sound the same for all,
some find hope sparkling while others fall,
echoes of sorrow sing their hue,
some drown, some seek morning's dew,
endless stories flash but moon stays the same.
With tone of wisdom and love the night claims
when everyone sleeps, stars stay with you,
in your journey,they suffer too.
burden and scars sleep beneath the night breeze,
hearts find comfort,minds feel ease...
It’s night
The moon shines coldly
An otherworldly light lives in my room
The quiet night noise of the city is music
Beautiful, unique atmosphere. This is also London
Tonight Chumki drifts to a gentle sleep,
And with her the poems their silence keep.
No murmur of verses, no whisper of rhyme,
The hours move slowly, unmeasured by time.
The stars look down with a softened gaze,
Darkness enfolds in its velvet haze.
No chatter of stanzas, no lyrical sound,
Only the hush of the night all around.
Dreams weave quietly in silver streams,
Guarding the doorway to tender dreams.
The restless lines lie still and deep,
For even the muses have gone to sleep.
Yet in the silence, a promise lies near,
That dawn will awaken the songs we revere.
When Chumki wakes, her smile will rise,
And poems will flutter once more to the skies.
When images of distant hills
turn more solemn, still and strange,
and all nature seems prognostic
of some dark and more deadly change.
In a star-filled midnight Heaven,
brooding and full of new-born thought
the patient poet stands watching
by whom liberation is brought.
Under trees all clothed in silver,
near the houses touched with white,
as chilly Winter kisses Earth
beneath the canopy of night –
He must bow in silent homage
to the pallid and pensive train
of stars that shine down such glory
on this wintery spirit’s reign.
A beautiful, colorful day elicits fantasy,
beginning with a dawn of tangerine-hued sky.
Envisioning a monarch’s wings fluttering,
into the sky with poetry I fly.
Lovely mellow noon offers pink quince
blossoming beneath a sky clear blue.
I imagine strolling with my love along a lane.
Romance, along with nature, blooms anew.
Radiant sun tumbles unabashedly violet
into its deep, mirroring, rippling sea.
I picture myself as a purple starling.
Winging beyond the horizon, I flee.
Lucid moonlit night opens pensively
as if it were a muse in a robe of bluish-gray.
One of myriad stars I now become,
wishing from Dreamland never to stray.
The whole Cosmos delights in night dreaming,
Where Sun and Moon entwine in astral projection.
The Cosmos listens to the sky's calling,
Knowing we're part of this great connection.
The forest presents green variety,
For which Moonlight holds great reverence.
Each tree and leaf beckons true piety
As Sunlight shows its high benevolence.
Have you ever felt the Blue Moon's grace,
Or lain beneath the entranced Full Moon?
The sky smiles with Moonlight's magical face,
Shining through the soft trees aligned and tuned.
Healing oneself in nature's vast kingdom
Is to restore the self to wholesomeness.
I want tonight to be the night
The one that we keep insight
A forever moment cherished in time
The work is done, and the hill is climbed
One special evening with you cradled in my arms
I’ve fallen for your unique and beautiful charms
Now I need to show you my light inside
From a heart that nearly died
You are my everything
And I can’t wait to hear you sing
Just this once baby girl I want you to know
I need us to take it ever so slow
Please let me be your person of trust
My everything for you is an absolute must
I want tonight to be the night
The one that we keep insight
One special evening with you cradled in my arms
I’ve fallen for your unique and beautiful charms
Each chapter of the night tells a story,
Each moment it arrives offers insight,
Each time it prevails brings out the light within us,
Its duration unravels mysteries.
The night closes the door to daylight,
Which transforms us into fighters and gladiators.
We emerge from obscurity,
Harnessing the fading light.
The night makes us creative tools;
Its challenges encourage us to seek the True Light.
It provides us with depth,
Allowing us to see both sides of a coin.
The night is beautiful;
Its turbulence enables us to peer into the chamber,
We emerge stronger than when we began our journey,
Unperturbed by the shadows in the meadow.

MIRRORED SKY
Wow, the moon and stars,
waving in the night sea,
mirroring below:-
Shining lights reveal the night,
Exposing wrong from right,
Often they'll try to bite,
Evade them with hindsight.
Hold tight to you,
That authentic view,
Always stay true,
To what you love to do.
Shining like a diamond,
To all who come through.
This path was meant for you,
Create something new,
Using the tools given to you.
Shine through the dark,
Relight that spark,
The world is getting pretty dark.
I look from my window—
the city is silent and serene.
I give another glance:
the light of bulbs moves slowly
through the twilight night.
Suddenly,
the uproar of parasite cars
breaks the seamless silence,
conspiring against the beauty
born of that celestial scene.
The wondering, waning moon—
like a besought fortune—
shy and quiet,
approaches me.
Enchanting, she whispers:
Take my light
and ignite the darkness within.
Love is below
cause of shadows
build to leave
above in time
see the movement
find peace to a hand
show the move and smile
lights go dim see believe
space and defended
help to open the bread
heads and minds behind
poor of delf defeat actions care
dress spirit and climbs
beautiful and at passion
walk to the car or bus rush hit
smoke and cough to get slow
opinions of difference
used up wait hold life
beer to alcohol and survived
hair and dress to really impress
power and easy street hard to receive....
My friend most beautiful
sat shoulder to shoulder with me
after the lights went low
and the show began.
We took in ballad after ballad
the tender voice hour after hour
and a spell was cast.
The song of Don’t Let Me Be Lonely Tonight
spoke to me— I could almost cry.
I glanced at her
and she looked straight ahead.
This was the night I wanted for months
although we had some casual dates
o the times when I pleaded for more
but tonight she was so tender
when I put my arm around her shoulder.
I knew the night was good for her
when we stepped out the elevator
onto her dormitory floor
and the music resonated in my mind.
The taste of her kiss was so sweet
on that special night.
She must have known
it was our last.
The Cheshire Cat smiles
Behind the dark velvet sky
Where Fireflies wander
Bright and beautiful day,
Glowing colours of light,
Outdoor beckons to us,
There’s fun until twilight,
Each day brings a newness,
This light leaves for the night.
