Dark Moon Gazer
Night,
rustles,
shrill alert,
shadow drifter,
who might gaze upwards,
at an alluring moon’s,
hide and seek dark coal sky squint,
to peer between the clouds and smirk,
phantasmic star, its beam that signal,
to post wee small hours mortal on a quest
