The Mirage

He said I was pretty
and I blushed.
He started celebrating
When I agreed.

We were blessed in church
For my new role at home.
He showed me his world
And I built his home.

Then I got that job
And he rejoiced with me.
Every morning, ill wake up before he
And ready his meal and tea.

He will drive me like we were nineteen.
And drop me home like a queen.
I aced around the house like a pro
While he shares a few hours with his bro.

Then like a king, I serve his meal,
While we talk about his deal.
He says he is tired
So, I tuck the kids in.

Then one day, I was late
And he thought I was mislaid.
He lost his charm and turned me around
“Don’t you think I should know your whereabouts”!

Then I saw life
The joys were always a mirage
whilst sorrows, worries and pains
the reality.

My dreams are no longer mine
For I changed it when I said yes
I have been living for others,
While I have my life in plains and terrains.

One day they will know me
But alas, when is that one day?

Blue Mountain

Blue mountain

drenched with mist
a cascade of water falling from a height
caverns are gems
'The Abode of Clouds'
A wench draped in hoary saree
All wetted and portraits like
A forest stream
Curved and silhouette
Calmed in her mayhem
Years passed by
But was struck by her beauty
She wore the bijouterie
Called nath
The blue mountain is the deepest hue of her nath
Was her only possess

A Poem As a Tribute On Mothers Day Part 3

Concluded

A Poem as a Tribute on Mother's Day Part 3 concluded.
.

My mother Late Rajrani Kapoor devoted her whole life,
for the love and care of her husband,
My most wonderful father (Late Dr. Amar Nath Kapoor)
Who had given her more pains of separations,
then the flowers of happiness as life companion,
As my father had sacrificed even his studies and
other comforts of life
For the sake of India’s freedom struggle
On the call of Mahatma Gandhi. 11
.
Suddenly I heard as if, the Koyal had left
That tree shade and had flew away
to some other tree
To continue her melody but
Without leaving any mark of her,
wonderful singing on the tree or anywhere
I realized that, no epitaph would ever be made
In the honour of
Such wonderful songs of Koyal
Similarly, no epitaph would ever be made
For all such wonderful freedom struggle workers
Like my mother,
Who silently contributed the best possible for her
For the sake of her motherland. 12

The sin does not die O’ Lord,
By killing the sinners of society,
Sinfulness will continue to live,
In multifarious ways and colors.

Why not, hate sin O Lord,
Instead of hating the sinner,
Wisdom has taught us all,
This simple lesson, O dear Lord.

The body of my most dear husband,
Will soon be consumed by flames,
And my widowhood would then appear,
How then your boon would prove true.

Will You feel contented O’ Lord,
By destroying thine own power,
Created by your own delusion,
Hiding in it, the sweet consciousness.

You have just blessed life, O' Lord,
To my lovely dear husband,
How it will ever prove true,
Ponder over this, O' Almighty God.

The fire of anger is burning,
The form of my poor husband,
How my widowhood can be stopped,
If Your mercy does not protect him Lord.

How the destruction would ever be,
Compensated by construction,
And how the loss of entire creation,
Would be restored to its origin.

Sensuously generated consciousness,
Is keeping everyone, active,
Keeping it it's mighty womb,
The unique power of Almighty.

Under the umbrella of attachment,
Love and delusion flourish, O Lord,
They acts in the life of man,
As the God's protector of manliness.

How, without grace or passion,
All the creatures of this Earth,
Would complete their life, O Lord,
Without love and indulgence, like idiots.

With the destruction of passion,
Pleasure of living would disappear,
And attractions of life would vanish,
From the life of all living beings, O Lord.

How power would ever generate energy,
Without the fuel of passion,
How the wheel would ever rotate,
Of rise and fall, birth and death.

Madan* is becoming a naught,
Losing his very existence,
Penance is also vanishing,
Because of your anger, Lord.

Think over the results, O Lord,
Which the anger would produce,
By destroying his very existence,
In the great fire of curse.

How the race of all creatures,
Will survive after Cupid's destruction,
Entire creation will disappear,
If Cupid is burnt alive, O dear Lord.

He robbed the auspicious honor,
Of so many innocent women,
His deeds are destroying
His very existence now.

Rati* said he performed his duty,
Given by his creator, Maya,
In performing of which, he,
Is being burnt by you, O dear Lord.

He was only fulfilling the wishes of Maya,
And is being punished for that,
He only performed his given task,
Like a loyal servant, O dear Lord.

O' Protector of the weak,
You are the treasure of mercy,
Your are the protector of Universe,
Save my husband O’ very kind.

Laying on your feet O, Lord,
Please extend your kindness to me.

Rati* saw her husband burning,
In the fire of God,
In great panic, she ran to Him,
Terrified and trembling.

She prayed the three eyed,
She is becoming orphan,
The expanding fire would destroy all,
Including her beloved husband.

Prostrate at Shankar’s* feet’s,
With deflated pride and ego,
She murmured in weak voice,
To arouse His kindness.

Heat expanded thus released,
On the entire lovely Earth,
Terrifying all creatures,
Fearing creation’s dissolution.

Showing how powerful, the man is,
Next to almighty on Earth,
Able to build or destroy,
Influenced by senses or wisdom.

The Sun stopped its motion,
Amazed by the happening,
It appeared as if, the Earth was,
Going to descend in pieces.

The infection does not reach
Due to that strong protection,
It would be able to burn,
This great infector of temptations.

Effect of anger made him blunt,
He got his third eye open
The burning rays of penance
Passed through eyes and fell.

Cupid's body began to burn,
Created by the cosmic fire of Shankar*,
Destroying the charms all around,
The delusion also disappeared.

Awakening of Shaker’s sleeping powers

Sensual pleasure so developed,
Destroyed the burning power,
Created by his long penance,
And compelled him to ponder and realize.

How charms can destroy his eyes powers,
Like ordinary human beings,
When he is blessed by the creator,
With the power of resistance of God.

Eyes get delusion infected,
That kills their powers temporarily,
But inwardly they remain,
Protected by wisdom and consciousness.
