Forced to visit all my fear -
In pursuit of inspiration.
But through collection all I hear -
Is I'm not long for aspiration.

Through careful words and softened voice -
I could reduce evaporation.
But do I trust subconscious choice -
With all my liberation?

That argument could give me face -
To point that accusation.
If it flees I'll have to chase -

I believe that woman is left 
To beautify the world
She is the ideal that lit my way 
She gave me from time to time 
The courage to face life 
With joy, kindness, beauty and truth
Me, always the man 
To admire her beauty.

My inspiration

Positive mindset satiates my hunger,
In dark clouds, it finds silver linings to see.
It carves out success, not as a warmonger,
And its bravery swirls like tides in the sea.

Walking its paths fuels daily ambition,
With it, no time again will my self-trust fade.
No setback can stir the winds of submission;
My will makes failure retreat, deep in dismay.

Struggles

My Inspiration, My Mom

Back fifty-three long years ago, she left;
my Mom- at the young age of fifty-five.
Yet, she is always with me every day;
my heart and memories keep her alive.

Three growing grandkids she embraced and loved;
her gentle heart they shared for just a while.
Then, years flew by- two generations grew-
to crown her Great-Great Grandma with a smile.

upbeat thoughts and poetry

MY INSPIRATION

Music keeps me amused.
My muse, inspiration driving me to create.
I’m enthused.

Stirs me to dance
showing joy, in hypnotic state, 
in trance.

Moves me
to write, feel great.
Gee!

When’er you walk among my words
pausing to drink deep their meaning
You renew life within my pen
and wake my soul from its dreaming

Should word or phrase catch bold your eye
to beg reflection of their worth
Then doth bequeath the breath of life
upon my hope’s rekindled birth

My Sister My Inspiration

Reminds me time and time again,
Reading the bible daily is the way to begin.

Put a bible in her hand,
God’s Word at her command.

A disciple in the making
All of my classes she is taking.

Text me daily her new truths realized,
Facts that she has learned and applied.

Her daily reaching out to me,
Is more precious than pearls in

Nature My Inspiration

Mother nature never worries about anything
Embracing whatever needs grace with due diligence
Never trembles when its hard facing the scorching sun
Nor fidget at the provocation of mankind
Even when she yields to pressure, her beauty stands intact
Mother nature knows seasons, and that none stands permanent

Behold her exquisite members
The dance and merriment of leafy green
That knows the beauty

His hands are gentle
His touch lingers on
His kiss whispers, sighs
His beauty rains hope
His light sparks desire

He stirs my dreams
He sings my song
He breathes sweet peace
He inspires me

He is kind

He’s passion

It snowed and snowed on the day I was born,
in dreams, I walk the frozen woods till morn . . .

And from my pen the words just drip and flow,

I found so much inspiration
on your happy smiling face
with lovely eyes
I reached the high on the sky
Without any difficult race
For your affections!

I felt my heart in your words
like nature gets in the morning
With the chirping birds
I got a new light of dreams
