Premium MemberDescent and Ascent

Something old, something new!
I rebirth beyond what my roots eschew.
I ascend from my descendant's group shadow,
to rise above and beyond what they bestow.

I cannot shed their genes and heritage.
While I respect my upbringing and parentage.
I rise above the limits of pedigree,
to shred the trammel bounds of mediocrity.

So here I stand both old and new.
Living a dream they never knew.
With the blockchain defining my past,
Eaten with my fate in a defiant repast.

My genes define my descendants' phenotype.
Alas I cannot change their archetype,
beyond the mutations in my DNA,
to give my progeny my ascent display.

Arise descendant now ascendant
Bask in joyous glee resplendent.

    The finest minds are clouded
Right and Wrong are in question

    Complexity is prized
by those who are best in

    Avoiding the consequences

Premium MemberIntroducing the Splitzmodic Vibratones

Emaciated test-tube mutations
Raised apart in pristine distillations
Conceived in dexedrine celebrations
and the crazed, ecstatic inhalations
of the professor’s choicest pheromones

Right-angled, inverted, and star-spangled
Drained and dangled till their nerves were jangled
Nearly psychedelically strangled
Quantumly, at a distance, entangled
On celestially balanced microphones

Their unproven kaleidoscope harmonics
Haywire mk-ultra histrionics
Phosphoric rhapsodical symphonics
And their backward time-lapse polyphonics
Transcribed on interstellar xylophones

For homunculus scintillations
Splintered, syncopated oscillations
And desperate mute gesticulations
No one beats those galactic sensations
Our own mad-twin Splitzmodic Vibratones

Poisons

POISONS

Boldly betrayed by my body
It came so fast
Poison coursing through my veins,
My Source, my Self,
Frightening and sure, traveling it’s way
Through me,
Out to get me from my Life,
Taking my blood and twisting ugly
Mutations into unfathomable letters,
Indecipherable Latin words,
No longer my lifeblood
But an enemy who has no use for
Life and cleanliness and health
Lauding power over my Will.

Next, an oxymoronic healing poison
Is injected directly into my Source,
Destroying all and everything in its wake
Unable to take into account the
Character of its red and white victims -
Good, bad or indifferent -
It kills without point or prejudice,
Intentional serial murders with
Fragile tentative plans for
Redemption and regrowth,
It tires me with its vehemence.

It is so exhausting is to wake up and have
Nothing but confusion and hope
As catalysts for breathing and taking in
The mysterious days ahead.

Premium MemberAspiring Alliteration Completed 2-28-23

All answers affect aspirations
By belittling bygone barbarizations
Constantly criticizing correlations
Defined dumbfounded dictations
Edicts evaporate everyone's expectations
Foregone frustrations failed flirtations
Gone great grace giving generations
Harmonies have harmonious hesitations
Impotence influences indignations
Justified judicious justifications
Killing kaputz keratinizations
Living life lonely leaves lacerations
My muse motivated monumental mutations
Nonsense needed no normalizations
Offended overintellectualizations
Past promises purely placations
Questioning quarreling quotations
Resisting relevant restifications
Sentient solutions solve segregations
Total trust triumphs trepidations
Utopias undermined ultralizations
Viciousness visualized victimizations
Worthless weaponizations
Xenodochial xenophilications
Yawn Yuppifications
Zenith zealousness zendrifications

The Shield Is His

Shield of great representation,
Captain America must be proud.
Built to fight off all mutations,
Fear, is in the eyes of the crowd.

Red, blue, white and steel,
enemies' fail to duplicate thee.
Often times, they are made to kneel,
others evacuate, vanish or flee.

It bares no solid competition,
no sword comes close to compare.
Its speed bears unlimited conditions,
made for its owner, exclusively rare.

Premium MemberOn Authenticity

Requirements, or strictures, often stifle creativity
Thus, I tend to avoid forms with strict syllable count,
I appreciate a suggested topic, but I may not feel it,
And the message of any poem should be paramount.
Best expressed in the poet’s unique choice of phrases
Its origins are necessarily found in the poet’s psyche,
Blossoming with rhythm reads with robust originality
Prepared themes often cripple the poet’s authenticity.

The great poets of yesteryear allowed clear departures
Which accounts for the proliferation of poetry forms,
Today, our mutations of the long-accepted sonnets,
Variations on old French formats, are accepted norms.
So, none of the aforementioned are revealing secrets,
But giving credence to the diversity of poetic outlets.

there's a man tinkling the word "woke"

This is just the beginning folks:
wake up mamma bear

fight for the soul of your children
there's a snake poking holes in the nest

stealing eggs at your expense
fight for the soul of your children
slap the snake with the rake of God..
separate the wheat from the chaff
sprinkle today with the blood of snakes
Amen!

Premium MemberOkapis

Are they zebra mutations, Daddy? The little girl asked.
Her daddy did not know, so he Googled it, no big task.
Okapis are more closely related to the giraffes in fact.
They have night vision, and tongues that are a class act.

They can lick their ears and eyelids because of tongue length.
Okapis' powerful tongues are long and thick, not losing strength.
Their mommies produce a call that can be heard by their calf.
But people cannot hear that frequency, not even half.

Also called a forest giraffe, the okapis can only be found
In the Congo in Central Africa unless you are around…
A section of African animals grown inside a zoo.
These unusual animals have amazing night vision too.
.
They have interesting stripes on their long legs, more than a few.
I learned about these beauties from my Uncle Lou.
The males have short horns called ossicones.
I imagine these animals decorating teens I-phones

however much he scrubbed them the smell of pungent chemicals

never left the Chinese crocs and he was fortunate in the sense that

he did not need further measures or precautions for social distancing

surely the men in Beijing knew a thing or two about the small virus

when the epidemic was over his nostrils and septum were exhausted

and it was not white powder which left a hole in his lonesome life

as isolation took its toll and he had become to enjoy his own company

and therefore he smelled a rat when encouraged to socialize once again

mutations came to his aid new strands of micro-organisms appeared

and he was desperate to fortify his own bubble of one on his own

luckily smelly fuzzy socks came to his rescue with virulent stench

as he sniffed at the fourth wave of infection and inhaled his freedom

Premium MemberThe Turning Sphere

The turning sphere of history remains without merit
Until we earn again for ourselves that which we inherit;
The open window admits the gifter and the grifter.

Passionate pages seeking to be filled with meaning,
Accept copy and paste solutions without fact checking;
The illusion’s brilliance blinds.

Freedoms won with the sacrifice of patriots inveterate
Are ceded to a siren’s song by a servile electorate;
A vote for the melody no matter the lyrics.

The anomaly becomes a tool to indict a group
By extrapolation in a never ending loop;
So many so willingly led by so few.

A kaleidoscope of human mutations vying chaotically to be begot.
Is this what six billion years of random opportunism has wrought;
*****sapiens, the symphony, played to discordant notes?

Covid-19 In the Usa

On 11 March 2020, The World Health Organisation declared COVID-19 as an Pandemic.

USA President Donald J. Trump declared that the world doesn't know crap, that COVID-19 is an hoax, and withdrew the USA from WHO (the USA's tumbling WHO health rankings were also an embarassment to Trump).

Trump personally intervened to spread the virus coast-to-coast, resulting in 230,000 deaths, so America's morons united under the GOP to re-elect
Trump as President because, "America needs a President who can kick butt!"

Lawsuits declare Trump was more concerned with fondling, than kicking butts, but Trump's contribution to COVID-19 mutations may not go unrecognised!

The world clearly knows more than the GOP, so wear a mask, keep your distance, and avoid Republicans to maintain good health!
