Premium MemberLove, Lubricant Of The Soul, Emollient Of The Heart

Love is the lubricant of the soul and the emollient of the heart, both
Unguent and viscous, it glides like butter in the summer heat
Banish it from your life and suddenly everything will dry up, like a
Rose wilting by winter's call. Lubricate love with a sense of purpose
Invite joy to sit at your table and oil your dreams with hope.
Care for your inner self and nurture your mind and body....
A lubricant made of peace and forgiveness can reduce friction
Nature has a way of polishing and moisturizing the mind and
Truth be told, gratitude can be the greatest lubricant of them all.

Premium MemberTurnip Greens

There is plenty of sunshine beaming down,
And plenty of water too; enough to astound
There has been an abundance of rain,
Moisturizing major crops of grain

And our vegetable garden out back
Appear to be thriving and has no lack
Leafy and lively vegetable are now in bloom
Cucumbers and tomatoes will be bearing soon

We also planted greens: mustards and turnips
For reasons unknown, the mustards didn't survive.
But it was about a week ago that I could be seen
in our lovely little garden picking turnip greens

Those greens were the first that I have ever grown
They were grown for eating, not just to be shown
Those greens were tasty, first pick of the harvest
We anticipate only the best from all the rest.

Premium MemberCamera Views

I have never tasted your full lips,
which lack a moisturizing tip.
Yet, I somehow feel as if I have.
I watched you break that fresh loaf of bread, and you said to me,
“You are welcome.”
 Somehow, I could have tasted
and smelled the freshness of that small piece you offered.
I felt nourished.
Your spearing eyes, your youthful appearances
A love like ours will be forever,
 My soul is in Accra.

Premium MemberContemplative Vibing Waves

under
the bright sunshine
of innate contemplative serenity
let gentle waves flow from the ocean
of words—kissing the shores of mind—frothing
it with quiet bursting bubbles of whispering peace—
completing mission purpose—moisturizing
the cranial atmosphere—with imaging
euphoric bliss…blowing the mind…

now let
the mind’s ears
hear the vibing
rhythmic beat
of your heart pumping
the melodic flow of intrinsic
love energizing you in your labors
of love as an instrument the creator’s
peace and a perpetuator of his divine love—
serving him—enabling others to splash onto the
waiting shores frothing with the healing of their needs…

Premium MemberScents of Pleasure Bestowment

Blessed with scent-lavished fulfillment
I thank God for sense of smell’s* endowment
allowing my nose to optimize daily goodness merriment
while feasting on fragrances wafting pleasurable bestowment…

Morning greets with awesome “floral blossom” spray freshness moment
Oh, my special child’s “tangerine” shampoo offers refreshment
as his “powder puff” baby cologne subdues his excitement
after favorite “bubble gum” toothpaste’s settlement...

I’m pampered with cooling “pepper mint” body scrub treatment
then “aloe vera” prevails for my preferred organic enjoyment
not forgetting “citrus” in its moisturizing engagement
and my lingering “vanilla” perfume statement...

“Eucalyptus” tops my therapeutic involvement
along “jasmine” aiding toward stress management
never setting aside “coconut” with healing sentiment
soothed by “chamomile” inducing my sleep and prayer commitment.

Philippians 4:18 … an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

The Final Poncetta

The moment is standing still and the morning is breathing a sigh of relief
The mist has absorbed the conscience of man and the dew has covered the leaves and sun burnt grassland, and the moisturizing effect of the poncetta flower stains covering the other side of the main is holding down its head in shame. The birds kept flying around with headless crown, with broken legs and broken wings; they scramble around searching for a home but every door they land on greeted them with a terrible frown. I stood on top of the hill looking at them walking ferociously towards the bridge, water gushing on both side, they left the Town with a shameful pride and a voice bellowing from the crowd
Shouting, “you have won and there is no doubt about that. “the voice
fainted out and the headless birds disappeared .I stood on top of the hill
absorbing the wishful energy and the children across me frolicking on
the lawn looking extremely happy .

Premium MemberAbout the Face

Fields of the dermis yield a harvest worthy of an ample supply of suppleness,
Foretelling fluctuating skin moisturizing balms that saturates the aged cavities,
Cherished heydays occupied a magnificent face for cameras to envy,
In the advance of time, I am content to tender the waning years.

Awarded to privileges and sanctioned
          embellishment favoring enhancement,
Over time, years chip away unnoticeably
          o'er worn breathless moments,
Taunt texture of an arduous youth evaporates
          in a whimsical hallucination,
Fields of the dermis yield a harvest worthy
of an ample supply of suppleness,
Foretelling fluctuating skin moisturizing balms
          that saturates the aged cavities,
Cherished heydays occupied a magnificent face
          for cameras to envy,
In the advance of time, I am content
          to tender the waning years,
For a fair measured distance
as a camera poses for a closeup.

Premium MemberThat About a Face

That About A Face

Previously responsible concerning an adolescent resplendent facial hallmark,
Awarded to privileges and sanctioned embellishment favoring enhancement,
Over time, years chip away unnoticeably o'er worn breathless moments,

Taunt texture of an arduous youth evaporates in a whimsical hallucination,
Face delicately immersed in a penny-filled wishing well made full by an Irish spring,
Whereby, encroaching four-leaf clovers anticipate deviating hands to favor,

For a wealth of squishing palms to rub gently the verdurous lucky
chartreuse petals,
Against foretelling fluctuating skin with moisturizing balms that saturates the aged cavities,
Alas, rebellious slaves to periodical moons ebb the epidermis as once kept promises reneges,

Former fields of the dermis yield a harvest worthy of an ample supply of suppleness o'er a lifetime,
Where cherished glorious heyday occupied a magnificent proffered face for cameras to envy,
In the advance of time, I am content to gracefully tender the waning years for a fair measured distance as a camera poses for a closeup.

A well-groomed matador José
Liked to moisturize with Oil of Olay
His hands lost their grip
The cape it did slip
He was gored as he cried out "¡Olé!"

Premium MemberDozing On a Sleepy Dawn

What a DAZZLING SUNRISE
Why do I despise sleep, so?
I am watching with my naked eyes.
It is much a MOSAIC display

With gradual surprises and
Standing perfectly STILL on its
BLUE BED OF SKY.
What is the EYE, performing a
Moisturizing TECHNIQUE each
TIME it blinks?

I'm blinking now. I am to
Perform the slowest blink I
Know.
WATCHING THE QUIET OF
THE FALLING SNOW.

Premium MemberHalf a Kilo of Care

In all our first meetings of the day
she greets with deeper intent
gazing religiously into my eyes as I indulge.

When tiredness betrays my countenance
without request, she renders
a service of a good shoulder massage.

When I’m almost getting sad
she holds my hand tightly
for both palms to intimately share
her cool moisturizing tenderness.

When duties are paused for a break
she comes to me to discuss serious matters
but makes herself playfully comfortable.

She’s very obedient and quick to act
whenever I’m in a place of need
making my place of work more comfortable than home.

My heart becomes convinced and consented
for the expression of a deeper level of intimacy
but surprisingly, a bed warmer is all that she needs.

She's a Cold Habit

as she sleeps

her comfort
leaves me breathless

this monster
beside me

inside me

her scent
still serenades
the air

an untamed
paradise of my
favorite poison

a moisturizing malice
so unclean it
seems holy.

she's a cold habit

as she sleeps

her wicked side
settles

fists float

fallacy is forgotten
and
for just a few minutes

i remember why I love her
~n~

how many different ways
i could kill her

as she sleeps
