I miss you
I MISS YOU (how to let go?)
Why can't I be with you?
Every day like the sunshine.
They say time heals all wounds,
But my Heart is
for all eternity to yours
Bound.
I have to comprehend,
I can't see you..
It sounds like a joke,
But to miss you this much,
It really breaks my heart!
For Pierre.
When I awoke this morning
My love you weren't here
I doubt you ever do return
That is what I truly fear
If only you'd come home to me
I'd hold you dearly in My embrace
Kiss you softly on your forehead
And wipe the tears from your face
I've already forgiven you for leaving
I hope that you can forgive me
I pushed you away with my temper
This is my fault anyone can see
But I realized your love is better
Then getting loud to have control
There will be no more outburst
Think of all the happiness they stole
The air in my lungs is less important
Then you being here in my life
I'm sorry for every tear you cried
I'll be a better husband for you my wife
After four years of marriage
I cannot remember my life before
You turned my life around
Showed me life was so much more
Now every memory is of us
Every thought is about you
In everything that I partake
It's a reminder of you
You loved me when I was down
But I never made it to my feet
I was pulling you with me
With my anger and deceit
As you walked away I saw
That you had tears in your eyes
I know it wasn't easy for you
And I had had a million tries
You won't answer your phone
You refuse to talk to me anymore
That hurts my already broken heart
That shattered here on the floor
I wouldn't change a thing
About all our good times at least
But I'd change every argument
And I never would be that beast
As i awoke early this morning
Here in what used to be our bed
These thoughts of you laying there
Danced aimlessly inside of my head
Those of the late nights we spent
Planning out our future together
And the promises to love each other
And how we would be in love forever
I remember waking you with a kiss
Before your eyes opened you'd smile
You'd stretch and wap me in your arms
Those moments have been gone for a while
But each one is a treasured memory
I wish I had more that was left of you
But I'm not capable of showing my love
And why you said you were through
I have this pain inside
One I'm unable to control
It's a longing for you
Radiating from deep in my soul
This being away from you
Fills me up with misery
I despise not being there
It takes a toll on you and me
This longing has become painful
It haunts me as if it's a ghost
I should be holding you
And that's what hurts the most
This isn't what we planned
Spending our marriage apart
And even though it's temporary
It doesn't ease the pain in my heart
For this pain to go away
Our time apart must end
Finally coming home to you
Will let our aching hearts mend
I
roam
alone
where the ghosts
cannot touch my spark,
nor steal the sear of soaring moon,
for I am the violet zenith of an arcane
chimera aching and breathing in the afterglow of primordial love magic ~
and in the saudade of stars, I held my muse… as tonight, I need you a little closer than the homesick heat kissing this soul in silence,
as I no longer weep as a victim of the devil’s weak harbingers, camouflaged in color-drifting liquid currents of lethal lapis blue, as if these sighs of forgiveness resemble the face of a fool’s paradise…
Takes one to know one, and takes two
For tangos and teas all day through
And maybe some wine to define
Who of us is more out of mind
Takes a night to know light of the day
Takes a breath to be taken away
Takes you for a time we have spent
Takes letters that hasn’t been sent
Takes love to fly thousands of miles
Takes lifetime to step on your tiles
Takes clouds for pouring rains
Takes wind to blow over our names..
Ruth: It’s all my fault— my lost hat! How can you forgive me that!
Buddy: Quite an ego you have, miss, taking blame for stealing bliss!
Ruth: I’m contrite! Wasn’t right! My pillow is drenched every night!
Buddy: You make me ashamed, my dear, I chose to chase it— you hear?
Ruth: I wish you had let it go, but there was no way to know.
Buddy: My gallantry would you excuse, had I not worn my shoes?
Ruth: But why’d God take you away, ‘stead of by my side to stay!
Buddy: In Him there is only Light— He’s sad, too, to see our plight.

Here I found my peace of mind
I’m a facebook freak
In dark waters of my time
I can swim or sink
No one watches me when I
Languidly pass through
Posts of groups to which I’m signed
And some posts of you
I’m a scapegoat to the world
So I don’t talk much
If they need to share absurd
I am out of touch
Sharing mostly pleasant sights
I’m a facebook soul
I believe in you, despite
You’re not here at all
Once upon a time there were
Two of us, now one
Then one day comes down a blur
And there will be none.
I miss our talks
the loving look he gives me
his scented embrace............
his attractive smile
advice when i needed it
I miss his presence.........
Golden rays melt to flowing red,
the stillness of the night ahead.
Sitting by my lonesome self
taking memories off the shelf.
My fingers start to write
in the quiet of the night.
My words are from my heart
so that is where I'll start.
Place your hand in mine,
walk with me through time.
My words are yours to keep
close beside you while you sleep.
Each night a poem of love I write
with feathered quill in black and white.
My heart to you only I bare,
with words of love, and how much I care.
Writing in the hush of night,
waiting for dawn’s coming light.
It's a quarter of three
and as always, there's only me.
Bends the elm at night, my darling
Branches rustling – here we are!
Early withered leaves keep falling
Some of them are flying far
Once I tried to follow these
My attempt to fly went wrong
Couldn’t catch a stronger breeze
That would take me to your home
As the darkness grows I see
That the nearest branch waves low
And it hisses - love, it’s me
I just came to say hello…
Gods and angels went away
For an indefinite vacation
“We’re mere ideas anyway
Dignified by population”
Says God, who asked not to be named
“Nowadays it turns ridiculous
Politicians took our fame
Made up maliciously fastidious
All the simple laws we set
And this farcical state of affairs
Is the one we must protect
Though the mess they made is theirs
We, Gods, wash our hands of this
Devil’s game the people play
If they want us Gods be missed
Let them pave their hellish way”
Spoke the God, whose name’s not known
But one angel smiled and said
“Here’s my email and my phone
Ping me up if something’s bad..”
So I wrote her phone and email
Down in my book and slept
The wild wind lashed at our sail
All the way to my homeland.
Where is the smiling face of love
that I dream of...
the gentle touch
that means so much?
Where are the words I long to hear
that bring you near
and warm my heart
while we're apart?
I cannot help but feel the chill,
and though you still
light up my dreams,
that's all, it seems.
He held her memory fiercely dear
away at war these long-lost years
Her haloed hair, her velvet touch
he yearned for them so very much
So sweetly did she sing his given name
what he wouldn’t give to hear its strain…
While as she called him night and day
no flood of tears could wash her love away...
Though it was surely true what some dared say
a flame enclosed her as she prayed
