I am not warmth denied.
I am clarity revealed.
You call me cold, as if that were a curse.
But cold is not cruelty.
Cold is precision.
Cold is the silence that listens longer than the noise ever could.
I was not born in comfort.
I was forged in exile—cast out by blood, by law, by the trembling hands of those who feared what they could not name.
They called me devil.
They called me waste.
They called me dangerous.
But I did not burn.
I crystallized.
I walk alone, not because I choose solitude,
but because the world chose to shut its doors.
And in that silence, I found my shape.
Not broken. Not bitter.
Just sharpened.
I am the frost that coats the edges of truth.
I do not flinch.
I do not beg.
I do not melt for comfort.
I am the one grain that stands apart.
I am the breath in the winter air that reminds you you’re alive.
I am the chill that wakes you from delusion.
I am the clarity that comes when the fire dies down and the lies stop burning.
You may fear me.
You may misjudge me.
But you will not erase me.
I am the frost.
And I endure.

Reality is catchy
One misjudge right away
Is a thing of curiosity.
You will know
If there's contamination
In the first try.
If you have the courage
To show off
What's the use in trying.
To determine injustice
Tell someone she's ugly
You will have the burden of each own.

Mission statement
broken promises
miscued satisfactory
guarantee Mount
of courses
Major pangs pains
Tranquil mission equality
Misjudge guided path
Lost on the road
Fables lies and stories
yet I'm told
Guarded yet misguided wonderful
Sheltered yet home
Homeless covered yet naked
How do you accept this
Prodigal Son has come home
isen from his lie down
Horizontal thoughts
In a vertical vessel
He struggles with himself
in life's lessons
~~~~~~~mission statement
He carries the weight
the guilt the shame of tens
maybe thousands of generations before him
Shown the light in his eyes
Yet do shine his heart is solid
And soul flickering
But yet they fines careless
Is the thoughts of the thoughtless
As the mind's wrinkles thesis
Floods The valleys overflows
The dry land I believe for you
I believe for Elohim my bloodshed
is not a worthless
Cause for you see
Jesus Christ died for you and I and all
Hallelujah
Do you have pets, she asked,
during our chat.
Yes, I replied,
we have two cats.
My wife turned
and said with a laugh,
Dogs have owners,
cats have staff.
Over the years,
we have found,
that cats are purr-fect;
we're not kitten around.
We're lucky to have them,
they're so soft and furry
and yes, of course
they're very purr-ty.
Don't misjudge a cat's intelligence;
it's often first-rate.
They can't read books, but they can read your mind;
they're very litter-ate.
Our younger cat is so mischievous,
she's no bystander;
but the elder one in our house
is the supreme commander.
With fur-ends like these,
no matter how you spin it,
it's a cat's world
and we're just living in it.
You were stalwart, my Navy shipmate,
you didn't hesitate,
you knew as you earned the title Navy SEAL,
war would become much more real,
Those who criticize,
don't realize,
it's easy for them to misjudge from
their cozy armchairs,
they should thank God they weren't
sent over there,
as war causes so many of our
soldiers despair,
these haughty critics would of been
the first to call out for you,
if the merciless enemies walked down
the avenue,
You defended us, your people, and
you we deeply respect and appreciate,
rest In God, our gratitude, shipmate.
I did not think you knew what an azimuth was, I said to Guy.
“I am not a Neolithic,” he told me with a sniff, I know why…
Some people misjudge this brilliant child of two months past twelve.
His mind goes where others have never had the chance to delve.
What do you use it for? I asked, testing him just a bit.
“to install satellite dishes,” he said. He is a precocious little chit.
We were at the Wambuul river where the Casuarina trees grow.
Not an elegant place, but it suited us down to each toe.
Guy suggested knapping a bit of flint while we were here.
I had some of my tools so I said “of course, why not? where?”
His mind was lightyears away, for he had his brain in a book.
Reading about quasars, for his mind grabs knowledge like a hook.
Though it seems
that somehow
things are not
quite right now,
When the end
is in sight,
He will put
all things right.
Is life fair?
Thank God, not.
We misjudge
our dire lot.
Standards used:
others’ wrong;
shadows cast:
dark and long.
Gravity:
where begin?
Misperceive
weight of sin.
Cast our cares
upon him;
comes the day
He’ll stand in.
Our chief end:
enjoy Son
for all time,
praise works done.
Kind of bizarre - this is an Irish quatrain called a 'Cethramtu Rannaigechta Moire', but it just appears to be a quatrain with xaxa rhyme scheme and 3-syllable lines... A bit of a mouthful for something so simple...
Can someone explain to me holding a grudge?
Even when it’s harmful some folks won’t budge
On their personality it leaves a noticeable smudge
In the long run, it’s a terrible thing to misjudge.
Isn’t it true that jealousy leads one to begrudge?
Can someone explain to me holding a grudge?
It’s sort of like a lingering oily residue called sludge
Every time we stoop down, persisting to judge.
I’d rather take the wasted time making fudge
Or, giving somebody who needs one a little nudge
Can someone explain to me holding a grudge?
Seems like holding one long would be a drudge!
Holding a grudge makes one walk with a trudge
And worse still, I suspect, to always misjudge
Even when it’s harmful, some folks won’t budge
Can someone explain to me holding a grudge?
Dissensions of one's character often
are directed to one's individuality. In one's
thoughts, opinions are the results of miscalculations
and thoughtless misreadings, perceptions of
misinterpreted reason. Why oh why, Why oh why
One can't define nor for cast one's motivation to
misjudge.
Acceptance
For the longest time I lost the love for myself
That true deep acceptance in the soul
That I'll never be perfect no matter what
And it's ok to be fractured, not whole
I stumble, I fail, I fall
I struggle, I hurt and I cry
I misjudge, trust too deeply, I crumble
My sharp angles, my faults do defy
But knowing people still love me
Warts and all they see past
Begs me to believe in myself again
If they can, so can I at last
I'm happy now with that image
From the mirror that does reflect
I've won the battle of wits
Knowing still I'm not perfect
I love those scars I no longer hide
I love what the ravages of time show
I'm whole in my psyche and being
From within I radiate a glow
Acceptance on every level
Internally and all without
I love myself wholly and fully
And I declare it without a doubt
Words To Mislead You!
I misjudge you, misjudge and only misjudge
to know your parts, sides unexplored,
to know your thoughts, words unexplored,
to know your heart, emotions swirled up, to misjudge you...
I mislead you, mislead and only mislead
to know your path, taken alone,
to know your side, routed alone,
to know your aim, only to wait, to mis-lead you!...
I doubt your claim, only doubt and doubt
to know your fame, only fame,
to know your shame, when you're framed,
just keep my words, to your claim,
to know your truth, and your doubt...
Believe me, I don't care, care is misleading, it
misleads you and not even spare, the
time, you wished, with your time, un-cared...
I saw you lost, so that's why,
I misjudge you, mislead you and
doubt your claim. I didn't care you
but your words, my time flew fast, by
unknown, unexplored, alone and misjudged...
I speak these words, words, just to mislead you!
I do not slither quietly under rocks
Unassuming and older, sure
Those who misjudge me
Rarely do it a second time
I am flexible, pliable, eager to please
Ninety-eight and half percent of the time
It is the other one and a half percent
That surprises you, sometimes taking a bite.
I thought I saw a nasty cat!
I did. Oh fancy that!
Sylvester I must tell you,
You're a very naughty cat!
I also have to say
That you are terrible at maths!
You miscalculate your aims
That's why you fall face down - Ker-splat!
You misjudge your target.
You only realise mid your jumps.
You're very sorry for it now
'Cause your head is full of bumps!
Granny sure insists
That you must have your rest.
But if you fail to catch me soon,
You'll have a cardiac arrest!
Can't you see with both of us,
Granny feels so blessed?
So why do you keep putting
Her affection to the test?
Sylvester I want you to know
That I'd like our feud to end.
I would like us both to be
The very best of friends.
And though she loves us very much,
Granny will adore us more
If she sees us playing nice
When she walks through the door!
Yes we could be a family
For a long and happy time...
Just remember, once recovered
You'll be on life number nine!
Mr. Brian
You stun
Mr. strand
You stand
you judge
never misjudge
your poems
are gems
My rhymes
at times
are lame
and shame
you chime
all time
at whom
my boom
Aroze
with rose
words flow
it's no
done correct
you select
you read
indeed
too much
no catch
always stoic
no trick
will miss
your bliss.
