burgundy and cream
and orange blossoms she wore
crowned in hues and lore

fresh naturally
like deep green, minty morning
sweet scent trails forming

queen of nature crowned
in myriad blooms daily
so lovely lately

By The Streetlamp

Flavor of eve grows rancid
Neath this lamp where all was sweet
Minty eyes savoring lips
Buffet of emotions thrilled;
But candy coated with lies

You were not mine to relish
Appetizer I the least
On her tart walks on this street.

Premium MemberGreen Days

warm green days have come
and candy striped rainbow skies
buttercup surprise

bee visits red rose
near the house of gold treasure ~
sweet beyond measure

purple lilies please
through sparkling emerald days
or orange dusk rays

mornings minty fresh
yield to sage evening at last ~
and mauve mist forecast

brother is an angel

tears in my eyes for all the memories we made,
we have been lost since you went away,
since you gained your angel wings,
we are saddened that we can not hear you sing,
you were such an amazing guy,
you brought happiness when we were about to cry,
and your spirit will live forevermore, and fly so high,
through every single persons eyes you have met before,
we are so thankful Blair minty Wilson to call you a father a brother an uncle a nephew a son and a true friend,
you will be with us till our end,
we hope your dancing in heaven as you did on earth,
and bring the angels laughter and love,
when our time comes we hope you meet us at the golden gate,
and with your laughter and joy show us the way,
can not wait till we meet once again,
and we will never separate as there will be no end,
i hope you are dancing in heavy for our mother and papa and nana to,
and make the smile and laugh the way you use to do,
we know your looking down on us with your love,
as we do look up to you in heaven above,
so we will say good night to you,
and we will never ever stop thinking of you,

Blair Minty Wilson

This is a story of wee mental Blair minty Wilson,
he was a father a brother a nephew an uncle a cousin and one true friend,
he was loved by everyone that he did meet,
His mental health hid from all to see,
And the world was cruel to what he was going through,

On the outside he was full of joy, and he was so proud of his baby boy,
no matter to where he went, he took his dog jack walks through hills and glens,

He was some kid that was so kind, on the outside he smiled,
But had loads on his mind,
No matter where minty went,
he was a funny lad and loved to the end,
we will keep him close to our hearts,
and he will never ever part,
Such a shame you could not speak, to how you felt so we could not see,
wish you opened your heart, and we knew you would never have to part,
but we hope your with your mum and your grandparents love,
till we meet again r i p our friend,
in the church they bellowed out kodaline tune,
that touched our hearts too, and at the grave we said goodbye,
with a tear in our eye,
but we know you will be there, and hear us all in our prayer,
till we meet once again, sleep tight minty till we meet again,

The Halfway Glass

A city block vendor chimes pleasantries prouder
than Muzak or an unseen crow in the background
elevating alarm clock music in the caws
uncredited and angrily growing louder.

A walkway narrows between the vendor
and a building. I teeter between both
as I pass by her grill
parked beside the vape shop. A blistering warmth

whitens piled pink hotdogs and tickles my ribcage.

A parakeet on her shoulder
is flaking off the sun and feathering the moon.

Steamy sundowns moisten her saucer eyes.
One dog pops sausage through its skin. She fans
the minty menthol. I pay the price
for squinting. I've dropped my glasses. Splitting

off-key shattered glass,
the containment of what used to be
bits of me shows up digits-bloodied.
Long after the initial sweep up,
little jagged cuts still happen.

Whispers of the Enchanted Night

Spooky vibes in twilight,
Purple rays dance through shadows,
Gazing eyes hold secrets,
Lady S on her throne glows,
Fireball milkshake, minty sip.

Images surge through April bold, a magical thrill I do behold;
Across the earth a glorious rite, surpassing human delight.
Clouds descend with minty air, their luster beyond compare ;
This tableu...a prelude call, as peaks of my soul's climb enthrall!

Such grandeur holds out its charms, when crest of nature's glow disarms,
And her pomp explodes on skies that resonate with my sighs...
To bask within this flaming scheme; earth reaches its height, supreme
As ecstasy fills the whorl where mirth and magic unfurl

A canticle rings out so soft as ingots of stars flick, aloft...
finally the view is set in one fire glow I can't forget;
sweet the acme of divine core as my exultations soar!

Begin The Dance

Washing the clouds away, dreaming of lemon and minty tea. Open to follow the tide. Waiting for lights to guide my way. Yoking to paradise. Junking the fires into the rain. Kneeling to Heaven on silent praise. Holding my peace as love echoes her name. She is the moonlit star, the shadow Queen who defeated the dark. Zipping toward flowers and tender grace. Nothing but stillness showed me I am given sight. Heavy snow and colder waves break down the fallen pain. I screamed at the dawn it was silent like I was just a passing song. Rivers give way to my garden wall. Planting the seeds to raise the Tao.

Shines the season brimming with grandeur, rich
In winter... frills of ice and snow bewitch
My pine trees capped with tinsels evergreen :
Comes spring-- dizzy where buds' hues turn to sheen
While air minty weaves on glens to unfurl
My trail scenting walks on plush lanes...hours whirl.

Then summer calls, hundred moths blaze cloud's fire,
Red-hot nights flaming, sizzling moon's desire
To entice a June love I bring to shore,
Till fall chants... boughs spilling lace on damp floor
Relishing life's harvest...true hearts content
When I trace cycles blooming but not spent;

For this spirit thrives on stars, earth,
' neath clay...
I am life that begins and ends each day
Between seasons, time pauses for a while,
As hands nourish solstices that beguile.
For I, God's nature child, could grant relief
Bringing hope for man's journey...root to leaf

Premium MemberThe Seasons of Our Love

On summer nights
Nostalgia's muse revives
Scent of jasmine
Fig tree fragrance fuses
Memories meander
Minty ice cream flavours
Add sweetness to hungry kisses

Star gazing to cricket symphony
Roof top whispers of love's infinity
Days drenched with salty waves
Sun flared skin soothed
In joint showery sprinkles

Summer days, summer nights
Surges of joy, exquisite delight
Looking back, I sigh, I cry
You entwined with my summer high
And now...

Autumn in here and you are not
The nagging rain will not stop
Yet I take a walk, soaking up this misery
The smell of dead leaves turned to rot
Instead of those forget-me-nots
Fills the air
How can I not care?

What happened? How? When? Where?
A memory sleuth, I search every moment
Empty... no clue of love's demise
Rain tears flow from my eyes
Your sensual summer vows
Forgotten somehow
And now....

I wait a brutal winter blight
with no promise of spring

Premium MemberIf you decide to get a cobra

If you decide to get a cobra
Better make it one who is black said Mrs. Minty.
We have a pet cobra that is white
She is prolific, her babies number twenty

I was horrified, for snakes are not my favorite things
I cannot imagine choosing to be with them.
And yet here was Mrs. Minty, whose praises many sing.
Who thinks a white cobra is her friend.

Serenity in a Cup

The whistling kettle calls to me.
Telling me it's time for tea
I grab my Tinkerbell mug off the shelf
As I try to decide what to have for myself
What flavor of brew should I steep into my cup?

Lemony and citrusy?
Minty and refreshing?
Earthy and nutty?
Fruity and floral?

Settling with vanilla spice,
A steamy waterfall
A hint of honey
To sweeten the pot
The sweet aroma rose up
Smelling sugary and sweet.

Cupping the potion
Raising it to my lips
Taking small sips
I felt the warmth
Course through my veins.

Washing away the stress
Replacing it with bliss
Like my mind is at a spa
Bathing in a hot spring.

For a moment, time froze.
The world stands still.
Embracing the peace
Brought by a cup of tea.

Premium MemberMarine Majesty

A winged mermaid blossoms,
awash with marine snow ~
Poseidon's ocean-pearl,
breathing jasmine sirens
as iced eyelashes curl...

A winged mermaid blossoms,
when fish-angels ache for
arctic apricity,
and glacial nymphs carve a
cruel felicity...

A winged mermaid blossoms,
as strawberry conch shells,
drape the neon sea-star ~
my minty sun trembles,
and sheds its sherbet scar...

A winged mermaid blossoms,
hearts of manta rays swath
with love's ivory rose -
unfurling aqua kins,
that ruby thorns unfroze...
