My heartbeat is within these lines,
rhythmic dances keeping time.
Like lovers drinking, out to dine,
I picture us, not ‘me’ but ‘mine’.
Spouting lyrics, oaths divine,
I wait and wish for some small sign.
He didn't choose to have it in the first place
Why would he be so mean to keep it.
Just like he got it
Someday he's gonna loose it
Just like he didn't choose to have it
Loosing it definitely won't be his choice
There's alot he doesn't know about it
So who is he to think he owns it all

Your life is mine
Need your life, I want to live that
With you. Just by you. Loving you
Only you. I have no life. Need yours
Give it. Let I be your soul. Always
Just yours. My life can’t exist without
You. Your hand. Touch my icy heart
Oh, hell. You are my end. The loved
One. The woman. Buried my past
Love you
Waited you
My
Past
"I'm a good person."
HA!
"I'm strong because I'm surviving."
Or you're weak and complacent... But ok girl... sure.
"It isn't my fault this happened."
Sorry. . . Did someone else say yes for you when he proposed?
"I am not enabling him anymore. I am not a bad woman."
Jesus Christ... You STAYED with him. HIM! Do you think any other woman is looking at you and the things you let him do and thinking 'shes still a good woman'. They're not.
"I don't bring out the worst in him. I just experience the worst in him."
Who else do you think is pissing him off? It's YOU that lives with him. It's YOU that forgot to put his laundry in the dryer.
"Things could be better for me. I could leave"
That's rich - do you think you're going to find someone BETTER? Or for that matter - do you think you'd find anyone else at all?
"I'm going to leave."
Yeah, sure girl. Going to use all that "strength" that you know you don't have. If you did-
Why'd you let him hit you?
I've gotta stop talking to myself like this...
When did I let his words become mine?
Your hand in my hand
Can this feeling last forever?
I don't want to share
You with anyone, it's not fair.
I want you to shine
Only for me, because you're mine.
It's selfish, but I
Unraveled our destiny's signs
It's you,
It's like déjà vu,
I loved you in the past,
I knew that we must
Keep this feeling for our future.
It's you,
It's like jamais vu,
I’ve known you for a while,
And I know that you're mine.
I'll choose you over and over
in each of our lives
Because you're mine
My hand in your hand,
Can this feeling last forever?
Things fade into sand,
But with you, it doesn’t matter.
Do you see the light
When I’m here by your side?
It’s selfish, but I
Unraveled our destiny's signs
Even if the skies fall,
I'll find you through it all,
Even if the skies fall,
Even if the skies fall,
I'll find you through it all,
I'll find you through it all,
'Cause my heart knows the map to your heart

YOU’RE NO FRIEND OF MINE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh scale! You’re no friend of mine
a constant reminder of the weight I desire
You whisper secrets in my unwilling ear,
of all that's lacking, a never-ending quest for perfection.
Your numbers dance upon your face so bright,
a dizzying maze of digits that confound and confuse.
I resist your grasp, your hold so tight,
for in your depths, I see only an endless fight.
I see a battle to conform, to fit the mold,
to sacrifice my soul, my heart, my internal gold.
Oh, scale you’re no friend of mine, I cry,
for you’re cold and calculating with your digital truth.
You ignore the beauty of imperfection, the charm of flaws,
the uniqueness that makes my spirit unique.
You see only the surface, not my heart,
a shallow reflection of my beauty within.
Oh, scale! You’re no friend of mine.
A name I gave, a hand I fed,
Nights of toil, my dreams I bled.
The cradle rocked with borrowed cries,
Yet truth lay veiled in whispered lies.
I wore the crown of fatherhood,
Built a home from flesh and wood.
But silence kept its sharpened sword,
And struck me down.
DNA, a ruthless guide,
Revealed the secret long denied.
The mirror cracked, the lineage torn,
A trust betrayed, a child forlorn.
Oh, heavy weight of hidden sins,
Where family breaks, and pain begins.
Love was real, yet roots deceived,
A father made, but not conceived.
So judge not quick, nor love disown,
For bonds of heart are seeds well sown.
But let the law, with justice broad,
Stand guard against paternity fraud.
Promise are slippery things
Watching her laugh with him feels like a final goodbye
I thought giving her space was all she needed
My girl
I watch her slip away
I should be the one
The one who makes her laugh
The one who fills all ing holes
The one who handcuffs her and growls in her ear
" MINE"
She shot me but she's still my girl
Craved Liar on my chest still my little Assassin
She ing stabbed me and I would give her a knife and let her do it all over again
I just want my girl
---There is a love, for which can't be explained;
I know that I have a need for her always;
I shall shower her with an arrangement of prayers;
Forward she's my adorned beloved darling dear;
She lives and breathes, Father has allowed such;
One day soon she shall be my adorning wife:
Humanity is sick.
Humanity is fragile.
We come into the
world being taught
the opposite of
these fundamental
truths.
We are taught that everyone is equal,
that everyone deserves a chance.
But the world teaches us differently.
It doesn’t care who you are—
only what you’re worth,
only what you can
give before you
are broken.
But the truth is sharper—
there are no guarantees,
only chances taken
and chances lost.
What good were
our promises, besides
failed ideals? And
what good are ideals
when no one is held
to them?
Their losses
have taught
me:
we aren’t the sum of our flaws—
we are the sum of our virtues.
Even if those virtues are selfish.
Even if we don’t deserve a
second chance.
The world can take everything you
have in an instant, but you have to give it your
pride.
And you have to give
hope to the lies we tell
to heal the world.
