Fruit Trees; Yours And Mine

Whilst are glowing in whose midst
For each fruit tree's
Flavours to try
The privileged sense of it
Passes we by.

Where each old world's dying wish
Celt's, Greek's, spear-dropped
Blew them, be us!
Faint, mythic isled; if yarded
Less serious!

Its my time to Soar
On eagles wings and fly
Above the sapphire sky
This Midwinter time of year

My crown is full of coloured dazzling~ sparkles
Glowing for all to see
Such joy I feel inside of me
I carry the love for my soup friends

Deep in this Scottish heart of mine
Not just at Midwinters time
Every day of every month ,year
I just love being here to share
My time for destiny is now
For such a time as this
I write from depth of heart ~ soul
Showing love, joy, kindness to all

What Was Never Mine

They were never mine,
yet somehow, they felt like home.
They became mine in the quiet of my heart,
only to leave me alone.

I broke beneath the weight of longing
for a soul I was never meant to hold.
Yet in every prayer, their presence lingered,
a warmth that slowly turned cold.

They saw me, yet their eyes
held only the silence of goodbye.
So I searched for them in every sign,
in every passing shadow, every sky.

But they faded into a world
where even memories could not reach.
Someone who became mine for a moment,
but was never mine to keep.

And somewhere between their memory
and the silence they left behind,
I forgot where they ended
and where I began.

Hordes of tiny fish
Nibble at the strands
Dark marmalade feathers
Undulating seductively

Calling all fish
To belong, be part of
A hidden totality
Under the glazed sunlight
Hazarding the shadow

Squeezing through the murk
Feeding our way in
Imagining light
Believing in everything

Eating the darkness
Mouthing the mass
Chemical collages draping the shape
Of a rusting onion
With nothing to say, but
Enjoy your meal.

Your light shines with mine 10-08-2026

The world is spread out beneath me,
a layer of dark velvet
dusted with fluorescent glitter,
sparkles that succeed the fiery sunset.

They shimmer in clusters,
as if the fabric of the world
gives rise to gatherings of life.

I wonder how many people -lives-
I fly over each second,
and how many life-changing moments
I unknowingly bear witness to tonight.

How many of you will I meet?
And which of you will illuminate my heart
the way you illuminate the Earth?

Self of Mine

Dear Self of Mine,

Dry not away, wither not now,
For we have miles yet to flow.
Somewhere along this winding way,
A spring awaits our brighter day.
A time of bloom we must engrave,
To light the path for those we pave.
Come now, let us drift and flee
Do we not have to meet the sea?

Not Mine to Begin With

Not Mine to Begin With

I fought for love, but love should not be war,
each day I bled, yet you asked for more.
The moment her eyes caught your wandering gaze,
I vanished, erased, lost in the haze.

Deleted calls, messages that hide,
truth tucked away on the other side.
I tried to be enough, I gave my all,
but shadows grew taller, and I grew small.

If love is real, it does not sneak,
it does not falter, it does not leak.
It stands in the open, steady and true,
not a secret game played between two.

So I stop the fight, I lay it down,
no longer chasing what cannot be found.
If she can claim you with such ease,
then you were never truly mine to seize.

I hope she holds what I could not,
but I walk away with lessons wrought.
Love is not begging, nor fading away,
it’s choosing myself at the end of the day.

Four said, "That's mine!"
