Yo Michael

My friend
My friend
where did you go
And how long
Have i been gone
where is the friend
Once i have known
The one that showed me
A friendship so strong
He opened his arms
His heart and his home
He was always there
To keep me from wrong
For years and years
I searched and i rome
Hunting for the friendship
Oh that i for long
lost now and all alone
No longer am I headstrong
Oh please my friend
I can no longer go on
Without you my friend
I just don't belong
We must rebuild unbreak
and rebend
The unbreakable Bond
Between two friends
This is my plea to make admends
Help me regain
The strength you infringed
In my heart and my soul
Help me refill the big gaping hole
So I may finally be once again whole
In your heart
Is where I belong
My friend
My friend
The memories still simmer
My friend
My friend
Do you remember
The Friend in Me
Once you have known

Quasimodo face that looks as if he rings the bell with it dang dong

It it just me but Hyde never invented the formula

What diary scared them all
You cards
Glad of the fairy paler
Who bit the first werewolf
I magine there was a first
and with each new wolf born grows stronger

Do you thinking being invisible would drive you

The dream killers have

all night too plan
would I be their tortured
for another day
their shapes trickling
from the edges
of the fire

See I magine a group of shadows
gathered round a fire
I am weird cause none of ewe
Are me like
Freak my badge of
On our on hair
of the cat
with a Cheshire stare
Hatterly in the mem
brain act
Like soup man
Buy in bulk
Banner never carried
Study flying mammals as a hobby
Brush and yawn ehhhh
That guy sold spiders round the neighbourhood
Nice guy
Wander this way which leads to the red being read
the wrong weigh
Clerk would if he could but he
CAnt

The saddest thing about his monster it never got a name

Must get on with that poet-ry
while it’s still fresh in me mem-o-ry
where’s the paper, where’s the pen
must do a rough draft before I begin
oh, cuppa tea, cuppa tea, calling for me
What’s happening on facebook? Lemme see
…………must wash up after tea
trying to keep the place tidy you see
Lemme see if anything’s on facebook for me!
Cuppa coffee now, cos last time I had tea
me phone just went ping – who the hell bothering me?
……… lemme see, lemme see who’s texting me

Oh, what was I was about to do? oh me mem-o-ry!
always playing tricks on me!
Washup, check facebook, tea, coffee?
now it looks like the housework’s screaming to be done
better do some cos I’ve done none for ages,
oh whats that on the TV
That reality show is about to begin
I watch it every morn-ing
Let the fighting begin

Well, while I feel inspired I must do that poet-try
washup, check facebook, tea, coffee
What’s happening on facebook? Lemme see

easy peasy
 you see
No procrastination for me!

Old Gold

Are they now here, the old golden days?
Are they still in mem, days well modeled?
A day I see now, those deeds weren’t
When what the story, I hear was starved

A day now what, a cock breaks eggs
A cock drinks York, for hen to hutch
A day now what, sputum taste delicace
What I hear is this, heartbreak no match

Plants we water to flower, even before time
What the best we make, seven a week we break
The worst out we make, even for just a make out
What I hear is this, even the wise a speck

A time for best declare, uphold old good past
An old meant for all, civilization virtue downcast
Above all don’t stare, at your world turndown
Reverse the story, borrow your past

Cowboy Joe

Cowboy Joe

My dad Joe, often rode the circuit rodeo
He lasso'd horses from the word go
Often he'd break them for many a few
His lasso event went far, for his name's Joe

Many men tried to go faster and win before him
They all found out, they were all left out on a limb
Now Joe didn't have not one mean evil, evil streak
He rode on many long extended trips in his younger peak

And he was one of the best of the happy hunting men for game
Always brought home lots of food for us, so we could all tame
He was one of the best riding lasso of mem who was in Rodeo's Hall of fame
I'm so dang proud to have him as my gifted riding cowboy of a father

Now ya'll come on over and give us a loud caller
For we always got on a full pot of coffee or tea
Cause we all learned from our dearest parents
How to be and expect to respect strangers with
hospitality and have extra edibles like peppermints.

Perpetually Lost

Of the many roads that I have taken
the many words which I have forsaken
Never could my passion bring
The lonely heart from which my cistern drinks

Gloom, the comfort of my tears
Tears, the instrument of my fears
Fear, the ransom paid of daring to dream
Dreams, the reward for all my gloomy ideals

Come! Feel the bronzie-blood upon my sleeves
Tilting Forcibly in  that brazen breeze
Groaning for you to release thee
Begging in silence, pleading  devotee....

          Floating,
                     Hoping,
                                  Wandering,
                                               Despairing

                                                 ,Fearing
                                     ,Soothing
                          ,Exhaling
            , Calming ...

Once again, once, .... again
What more can I attain
Must I dare to say
Drifting,
                slowly,
                             dis-mem-ber-ed  prey

Apron Strings

When I was young,
I often clung,
to many little things.
I'd reach up high,
again retie,
my mama's apron strings.

I sometimes did,
what mom forbid,
although she'd make it clear.
Thoughts still linger.
I remember,
through each fleeting year.

Acquainted still,
her stories thrill,
with many left untold.
I can't go back,
though mem'ries track,
to years I'd rather hold.

I'm lost in thought,
it can't be caught,
despite my futile search -
mama singing,
mama bringing,
this small boy to church.

Though I was touched,
and changed so much,
through Christ, the perfect One -
I cannot stay,
time slips away,
from all that she had done.

I try to grasp,
and hands I clasp,
around those many things -
but mem-ry strands,
slip through my hands -
just like those apron strings.

I miss her so.
Emotions show.
There's moistness in my eyes.
I can't withhold,
though I am old,
my oft guilt-ridden cries.

Though sometimes sad,
I'm always glad,
whenever I think of -
my mama's cares,
my mama's prayers,
and her most precious love.
