Men and Many More
In response to "Ready To Burst" by Cecilia MacFarlane.
Why would each of us rather walk away
When we should think about trying to stay
But sometimes being faithful to very end
Maybe into ecstasy might not ever send.
What was it exactly that you expected?
Did you sort out cards before being selected?
Or he probably was first one to come along
And consisting singing the same old song.
How did you tolerate him this long anyway
Making you mad causing feelings to display
Sure seems like he is trying to be cool
While you are sitting on the counselor's stool.
This great guy has used you in every way
So what more remains or is left to say
Except I'm going to beach I do adore
Where there will be men and many more.

Busy lives hinder love making sessions
This leads to sadly many depressions
Ten minutes of good fun
Connect now with your one
A quickie is much needed and freshens

E nraged then ecstatic leaves me exhausted and eager
M y memories and milestones are anything but meager
O verwhelmed and outraged I overreact then become obsessed
T roubled thoughts only thwarted when I ace my inner tenacious test
I gnoring my irritable side, I'm increasingly inspired and impressed
O pen to opportunities that are not obnoxious, opposed or oppressed
N onjudgmental, never nasty, sometimes nutty but naturally nice
S keptical, shy, sexy, secure and silly, sums up a little of my own spice

I awake with an unquenchable hunger
Hot bodied flesh is now all that I crave
I'm destined to be another zombie
A nightmare from beyond the grave
My appearance is beyond hideous
I walk with a wandering sluggish stroll
I am only able to make a raspy gurgle
To eat another's flesh is my ultimate goal
I walk aimlessly until I smell fresh blood
Attack mode takes over, no self control
Sinking my teeth into your sweet skin
Claiming your body and your soul
I'll be right here when you awaken
We can stroll and gurgle in sync
No more stress and life worries
For you'll no longer have to think
As you lie waiting to become a zombie
A dreadful fate that is justly unkind
Know that you will also partake
In the extinction of mankind

Surrounds the place
Where a wedding was blessed
Two souls shared their vows and their hearts
A long life, joined dreams, love beyond measure
Their presence lingers though their gone
Magic of love prevails

"In twenty four hours" after "dancing with the devil"
Begins the "lifting of my veil" you'll see I'm totally being level
"Silence is golden" was snickered when "my confession" was read
Head nun said, "look before you leap" but yet I ended up "in his bed"
Filled full of "tainted love" and "torment" that was "beyond belief"
Being a "sexy nun" I was "mystified", now full of "regret" and grief
If "Falsely imprisoned", I fear that I'll be "out of sight, out of mind"
I must "get it together" or else my "guardian angels" will leave me behind
"Choosing your fate" was taught in the convent, but I missed class that day
Swayed by a "roller coaster" of "sparkling kisses", that sadly led me astray
I'm "no longer asking" for these "false charms begone" on my behalf.
But for my other personality "Betty Boop", to be "freed", she is my other half.

we stay till the time,
that our fate string is cut,
served time 4 our crime,
our next step is up,
new adventure sublime...
soul onwards, winged stuff...
to flounder and flap,
to get the beat right enough....Don

Aligning
perhaps it was a karma sign,
where once before a different life time,
sow to reap begins to chime,
we suffer here, it aint divine?
possible payback for the crime,
what would i know,
it's the hurting mime,
ironic patterns divining,
your planet is aligning ,
with mine?

Trying my best to concentrate on what is being said
For thoughts of him kissing me are swirling in my head
An electric current connecting us refuses to be ignored
The passion igniting between us demands to be explored
His eyes lock on mine and I know he feels the same
He leans forward with the intention of my lips to claim
Soft lips sweetly entice, leaving me feeling light headed
Throaty groans escape as we further become embedded
He catches my bottom lip and gives it a gentle suck
Flooded with desire my senses suddenly run amok
Heart rates accelerating, leaving us breathless and burning
The taste for each other now a unquenchable yearning
His tongue intertwines with mine, the jolt takes us by surprise
This is a rare occurrence, my subconscious blissfully sighs
Filled with sweet sensations, sparkling inside and out
Totally entranced, his kisses I never want to be without.

I been seeing my life through a cloudy veil.
Although it was my fault, my own sight I did curtail.
I believed in going with the flow, how could I fail?
Until my soul I taxed with a enormous bill of sale.
Hesitation became a crutch that I demurely hid behind.
Disillusionment concealed from my unconscious mind.
Instincts I ignored, to my ego, that was unjustly unkind.
Creating a hazy web of sorts internally, once all combined.
I lifted the veil and my vision is suddenly crystal clear.
Insight of self, promises an astronomical year.
Finally squelching the doubts whispering in my ear.
Thinking positively, I make a leap in my career.
Independence is now something I truly embrace.
Confidence is stronger, my fears I do solemnly face.
Life is now full of possibilities, no longer an enclosed space.
Lifting that veil, I can now contentedly say, I found my place!

ode to Brian Griffin,
for though he may be
a cartoon dog,
whose presence graces
the halls of Family Guy,
he is an Atheist dog,
the first of its kind
who keeps a gun & a
bottle of scotch in his
safety deposit box
for the day when HE
decides this place is too
much & chooses to end it.
though he may be a shitty
writer,
a male chauvinist of sorts &
occasionally he will eat
Stewie’s feces or somebody else’s
vomit,
he is, for better or for worse,
the kind of cartoon character that
we need out there---
the kind of cartoon character that
stops lying to kids,
painting them pretty pictures of
an afterlife, or an overlooking force
who will come to one’s aid when
trouble arises---
he instead is there for the family he lives
with,
on this planet (though animated) & this
planet alone---
it is no surprise that the master of wit
who created the series & does the
majority of the voices on the show,
resembles the dog in real life,
idealistically &
charismatically---
merci beaucoup, Mr. Macfarlane,
merci.

Storm knocked out the power, the candles are now lit
Ice cream is going to melt, so let's make a banana split
Bring out the board games, time to use our skills and wit
Conversations are much better, don't you agree a little bit
Let's snuggle to keep warm come over here with me and sit
Making memories by candlelight is the best we must admit.

"THE whole truth and nothing but the truth" .......
I flunked my math test and I never felt so blue
Geometry I could just not do
Algebra came easy
Other subjects were breezy
Sadly off the honor roll I flew.
Was the very first time I failed a test
I should have cheated to avoid the stress
But that would be wrong
My morals were too strong
I felt like a failure I must confess.
Teacher moved my desk way up in the front
My eyesight is not the problem I grunt
He said, just pay attention
Or I will add detention
You will learn, his intentions were blunt.
Many hours I tried to comprehend
I think his teaching skills I did offend
Plenty of intimidation
Loads of frustration
For I did not learn 'G' in the end.

On Valentines day you broke my heart.
Having an affair wasn't too smart.
Something inside me died.
"Forgive me", you cried.
"Without you I will fall apart"
From your tainted love I have flown.
You thought I wouldn't make it on my own.
Now you see you were wrong.
Without you I am strong.
I would have left sooner had I known.
I bet you wish that I was still yours.
Life's so much better since I closed those doors.
Life is now sugary sweet.
Breathlessly swept off my feet.
Captured my heart is a man who adores.
