Lustrous gem, shining so bright
Her gorgeous gleam against the light 
The kiss of her glow on my skin 
Gives me shiver under my chin 

Like a diamond in the sky 
That lights the way for dreams to fly 
She's my vivid ray of hope 
That gives me strength to grip my rope

Lustrous Luna

Lustrous Luna works midnight magic
 As it glitters golden in rhythmic ripples
 Onto ocean's briny billows,
 Distant diamonds flicker a twinkling tune
 as winds whoosh through the palm trees,
 Lovers lost in enchanted embrace
 Find fulfillment in gleeful gazes

October's Lustrous Glory

Autumn breezes signal October's arrival
with windswept revelry they blow. 
Golden leaves, like confetti, flutter aground.
Bare maples stand, and at their feet a carpet,
emblazoned in russet, amber, and crimson.

October offers bountiful treasures from the earth
Fields and meadows are ready for harvest,
nourished by Summer's afternoon's of soft rain
and a wealth of sunlight's warming rays.

Nacreous and opaline iridescence
Scattered through my gated garden
Million white tendered blossoms
Oozing intoxicating perfumed bursts
Most divine exotic jasmine
Beaded lily of the valley
Melodramatic calla lily
Trumpet playing lilium
Oversized amaryllis
Inspirited hyacinth
Lotuslike magnolia
Tall spiky foxgloves
Rock garden candytuft
Innocence of baby’s breath
Exalting nacre for my opalescent muse

Dawn
Has adventurous streaks, kind-hearted,  innovative, though quite impatient …
Pilgrim of this Multiverse, raised finely by a General and  Lady Tutor
Relishing  exotic journeys, collecting angels, writing down the veins--
I feel deeply about children’s rights, the search for higher-self,  warm kinship
Fearful  of  ill-timed deaths, underwater quests ,    oh,

Labor Yielded Lustrous Lovely Lass

our second of two lasses conceived 
sometimes within a blink
the exact moment auguring conception 
difficult to identify or pinpoint

whence seminal liquid 
ejaculated from a phallic chink
birth of second daughter thyself and spouse created 
while immersed in the coital drink

Golden-flecked bliss   
of enraptured blown-kiss   
stardust bestrewn

I Too Am Smitten, On Thy Lustrous Glow

I too am smitten,
On thy lustrous glow;
Cologne of thy juvenility,
Is so stupendous;
None can stop,
Thee strewing in ambiance,
Alluring crowd;
My boggle is,
These moments of love,
May or may not last;
May leave me in loneliness;
Will be bereft,
For thy love;
Will be shattered,
If don't stay my side;
I too am enamoured,
But scared,
If Sun sets down,
Behind the veil of moon,

Lustrous Illumination

The glimmer of the streetlights
on the rain-wet roads below
seem to draw me to them moth-like
with irresistible bright glow.

They are mysteriously romantic
as they light me on my way
and I wonder at the difference 
of the city in the day.

They glitter never ending as
I drive in hypnotic flow,
toward the reflected brilliance
of the lauded Broadway show.

Stepped yet resilient - unvanquishable
Perfunctory entity - nitid thing for tangible
Better not be a lustrous gem for it will last
