Nearing My End - I Never Felt Better

Ahhhh….Here’s a wound to mend
Ahhhh….Please, put my mind at ease
Ahhhh….You don’t see me, nearing my end…
Ahhhh….Nearing my end…(you’re left without a clue)

Pre-chorus #2: You turned out to be so mean…you were so heartless… (you
make me feel like nothin’…make me feel like someone…somethin’ – your words
pierced me like a pin on the floor)
I’m not haunted by your callous night…don’t pick a fight (with me…we were
innocent like a newborn infant)

I won’t shed a tear for you
You’re too late…you can’t change what has happened. I’m damaged by your lie.
I gradually swelter.
I won’t be sick with the love flu
You’re my disease…you killed me with your cruel, hateful, twisted lullaby – I’ve
never felt…so…better.

Give me an excuse or a reason
To overcome these waves of emotions
Friends come and go like season to season
Dealing with vile clashing commotions

Pre-chorus: I thought your grass was green…I’m hopeless… (Oh funny, I
thought you were a good person…I was there for you through thick and thin –
you do not love me anymore)
I’m through with you...you…tonight…I long for God’s light (to shed on me…we
were in content & we were pleasant)

Chorus: Ahhhh….Stop being a tease…

Ahhhh….Being a tease…(your heart broke due to being blue)

Premium Member Lover and Friend

Relationships are precious, like lover and friend
Cherished much longer – built on trusting love and care
Hence, losing one: melancholy – a tragic end
Why have to lose one? Is life really that unfair?

We are best friends, till death us part is what we swear
Horizons shift from dark to blue on sprawling sand
Through thick and thin, the solid bond will halt despair
Relationships are precious, like lover and friend

Stars and moon converge setting a happy trend
Our dreams and goals pave one everlasting affair
To each other's side we stand firmly to defend
Cherished much longer – built on trusting love and care

When eyes behold not just a friend but even more
The carefree feelings change and deep emotions blend
Will it be worth the risk that surely is in store?
Hence, losing one: melancholy – a tragic end

The battle rages like wild tempest right inside
The urges unrestrained are there to give, to share
Like burning lava hot to handle or to hide
Why have to lose one? Is life really that unfair?

The jewels’ sparkle has to last and never fade
A lasting sacrifice is one that leads the heart
To rise above the pains from which true love is made
Lover and friend must aim to play a lasting part
Relationships are precious.

My Mother

#Mme
Wells of my heart are ever flooding, ignite in me never cease to lit, greatness and gratitudes forever apprehend my reactions, to cloud 9, expressions in me, trigger rockets in my heart, feel ruptures in me, cracking and leaking self control, running loose, uncontrollable.

I am talking about a WOMAN, Statue of my soul, this hope in my breath, reason I live. Please don't cut my wings nor control my adrenalin, here I'm absorbed, by gratitude and overwhelm. I'm drowning in tender, motherley abstract sooth

I'm talking about a MOTHER, my MOTHER, blade holder, asegai of my amour, my survival, piercing through my thick and thin, casting stones of my better livelihood, like creation, remaining absolute to my being. PLEASE! GOD, keep her for us, we, her son's and daughter's, flesh of her flesh and bones of her bones, the pulse in her heart, that echoes in our strength, humans we are, reflections we are, her body that nurished us, forever in us, she lives, in dreams we share, common bond of our birth, we are commended, by God and heaven. OUR MOTHER! Mme.

Premium Member I Was There

On the first day that our fate crossed.
'til the day our love grew.
When God sent us four gifts of love,
I was there.

In times of struggle and emptiness,
The world seemed so hard to please.
When you needed a hand for you to lift,
I was there.

I was there,
Thru thick and thin.
In sickness and in health.
'til this life drift away.

I was there,
When your voice tears my bones.
When you're out of control.
I was there with a grieving soul.

And when you realize my importance,
The essence of this woman in your life.
If you learned how to love....
You'll find me patiently waiting.

I'm still there.

It Don'T Get No Better

Walking down the middle of the road,
chewing on a piece of wheat.
The sun burning hot on my shoulders,
I got no shoes on my feet.
A gentle breeze blowing through my hair,
cooling down this August heat.
Man, life sure can’t get better than this.

Running up and down these railroad tracks,
to the other side of town.
Gonna go meet up with all my friends,
so we can just hang around.
Spend another lazy summer day,
over at the school’s playground.
Man, life sure can’t get better than this.

Little older and a lot bolder,
it’s you I’m going to see.
Holding your hand sitting in the park,
this is where I want to be.
After our first kiss I thought my heart,
would explode right out of me.
Man, life sure can’t get better than this.

A few years more and an Army tour,
That’s when you whispered, I do.
After some fun in the summer sun,
we were three instead of two.
Throw a couple more into the mix,
Now the six of us will do.
Man, life sure can’t get better than this.

The days grow older and so do we,
there’s no place that we haven’t been.
Baby, I would not change a darn thing,
if we did it all again.
I’ve been there for you and you for me,
I’ve loved you through thick and thin.
Man, life sure can’t get better than this.

My Bicycle

~My Bicycle~
Everybody had one - everyone but me...
Pedaling everywhere, laughing hysterically.

My brother had an idea; to the tip let us go,
You never know we may find some bits, and them we will show.

Digging in the tip, looking here and looking there,
First he found a frame and wheel, but of more bits we did despair.

Carrying our finds, a mouse-eaten seat, and one wheeled bike frame
We carried them triumphantly down the leafy wooded lane.

Where oh where to find a wheel, to build this marvelous machine?
It kept us pondering all day, as we scrubbed and made it clean.

The next day my prayers of the night, were answered and very soon
The old man who lived on the end knocked, and nearly made me swoon.

Standing there, a wheel in his hand, and mudguard over his shoulder
Declared he had seen us walk on by, and because he was that bit older.

He saw we wanted to build a bike, and of these parts we were short
He was the first gentleman I kissed, and thanked him as I was taught.

My dad had a tin of black paint, we found another of white;
We put the pieces together, it looked a bit of a fright.

One wheel was bigger than the other, the mud guard hung lopsided,
But we managed to make it look good, with love we had been guided.

I took my bike, my pride and joy, and sat on the mouse-eaten seat.
I then realised I couldn't ride it, when I lifted up my feet.

Through thick and thin and many a bruise, determined I was to learn
When oh joy, of joys, I won, but alas landed headfirst in the fern.

As I lay dazed a lump on my head, I saw a very strange sight,
Two legs standing over me, and a head blocking out the light.

The local bobby had seen my fall and come to rescue me;
"I really don't think it's safe to ride, on this black and white monstrosity."

My black and white bike of uneven wheels, lay there looking quite ill,
But I would not give up on it, and pushed it back up the hill.

Whooshing down, the wind in my hair, I felt exhilarated.
I passed the spot I last fell off, shut my eyes and kept my breath bated.

To try the brakes seemed a good idea, as round the corner I flew,
It was then I found that I had no brakes, so I had to use my shoe...

Thick N Thin

My hair was thick for a moment
My heart was thick for a week
My love is thick when you want it
Though afterwards, I can't speak

If you won't come by the bedside,
You can still come to the back door
There's all kinds of fish in a red tide
And a hopeless few still down the shore

Everybody's dealing with sickness
Nobody knows any cure
The worst kind of debt is thickness
Against that, no one's insured

The red meat is thick in the middle
The dark meat is thick like the past
They're now thickening individuals
I guess so they're fit to be gassed

If you find that you're in the thick of it,
Maybe you'll be amazed
The plague don't care if you're sick of it
And God lets you know when He prays

Thick as thieves —
Thin out the herd —
Isn’t it funny
How the line between thick and thin
Is often blurred

You know I’ll be yours through thick and thin
I won’t fly out the door when the money rolls in
I’ll be the singer you always wanted
I’ll be the glamor you never flaunted

Premium Member Whistling In the Wind

In all my life I’ve always dreamed
I’ll meet someone lovely like you
As if our lasting love was meant
We’ll be together all life through,
Just like a whistle in the wind.

We meandered through our life together
Living in one large oversize chamber
We pass from soft spring to winter weather
Through all thick and thin we’ll just remember.

The vast universe was ours to enjoy
As if our spacious room has no more walls,
Say who can dare our lasting love destroy,
I hear the whistle in the wind that calls.

In all my life I’ve always dreamed
I’ll meet someone lovely like you
As if our lasting love was meant
We’ll be together all life through,
Just like a whistle in the wind.

Listen my love, just listen o my dear
The wind is whistling our beautiful song
Our love tune comes over so clear, so clear,
Thus in bliss we will make love all night long.

Yet one day all this must forever end,
Like a loving whistle in the wild wind,
We hope that any of our faults we mend
And become new and fine as sweet as mint.

In all my life I’ve always dreamed
I’ll meet someone lovely like you
As if our lasting love was meant
We’ll be together all life through,
Just like a whistle in the wind.

Wanted

Someone soft and warm and sweet,
someone with a soul.
Someone for times when I am weak
to rise and take control.

Someone to stand beside her man
without thought for all his lack.
Someone that when he's not around
she still will have his back.

Someone whose laughter's made of joy
who worships God above.
Someone who knows the meaning
of the word the world calls love.

Someone I know I can forgive
who will forgive me when I'm wrong.
Someone to let me carry her
at times when she's not strong.

Someone somewhere within her lips
I know her love is true.
By the way she smiles at me
as if she sees right through.

Someone through all the thick and thin
the happiness and sorrow.
Someone that can start today
and promise me tomorrow.

Perfectly imperfect
so that the world can see.
I finally found somebody
who is a lot like me.

Nearing My End - Stop Being a Tease

Chorus: Ahhhh….Stop being a tease…
Ahhhh….Being a tease…(my heart broke into two)
Ahhhh….Here’s a wound to mend
Ahhhh….Please, put my mind at ease

I’m not haunted by your callous night…don’t pick a fight (with me…we were

Who made up all of the rules?
Why did you use me like those worthless tools?
I’m sorry that I hurt you to the extreme
But, you ruined my self-esteem

To overcome these waves of emotions
