How is it Possible?

How is it possible that one can be a pluralist and still be true to the savior?
I am the way the truth and the life, he said!
I AM!
Not confession or even faith, but I AM THE WAY!
And in him was life and the life was the light of men!
He is the light of the Bodhisattva!
He is the light of Buddha!
He is the light of Allah!
He is the light of Siva!
He is the wisdom of agnostic intellectuals!
He is the fury of feminist revolution!
He is the joy of liberation!
He is the burning beat of rhythm in the streets!
No man has seen God, but the SON OF MAN HATH PROCLAIMED HER!!
From the Jews who he chose!
To his humility to learn of the suffering of men!
To his exaltation!
IT HAS BEEN HIM ALL ALONG!!
ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MAN!
I AM THAT I AM!
The burning fire of love that transforms all things!
And so you ask, who shall not make it?
Some may see hell, but they will not stay there!
For God rains on the Just and the Unjust!
For God will have mercy on who she will have mercy!
And so, in the end, All shall be reconciled!
He is the WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE,
He is the wisdom of the Vedas,
He is the weak and strong force that holds all things together!
And enabled Teilhard de Chardin to speak truth to power!
He is the light of Ghandi’s nonviolence!
He is the strength of Mary’s courage!
He is the love of mother God!
Dancing in Trinitarian Jazz,
With the spirit that he wields and who wields him!
God of the Chosen!
God of Hagar’s son!
God of the East!
Lord of the Magi!
And King Supreme!
Though meek and Lowly,
He is unafraid of our exploration!
He is unafraid of the beauty of men laying with men, and women laying with women!
For he is love incarnate!
And he is THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE!
And he shall birth new Deborah’s and New Joshuas
To change the face of Arrakis,
For he is the Quizazk Zaterack,
He is the communion of the saints and the power of the ancestors!
And in him, he has reconciled male and female,
Black and White,
He is unafraid of justice,
And with justice he wields punishment on corporate monopolies and white supremacy!
He is unafraid!
Risen, Strong, True, Just, but Merciful.
And so in the end, all shall know the beauty of God eternal.
For we shall see Angels ascending and descending on the son of man.
Amen.

Awesome stars* are art works of the Almighty
Beauteous midst darkness, sparkling bright
Creation masterpieces supremely crafted
Designed perfectly to serve as eyes’ delights.

Extolling the grandeur of divine excellence
Firmament jewels driving astronomic flight
Galaxy ornaments that mystify constellation gazers
Heaven’s wonders are stars** for promises’ hoisting
Influence-compass intensifying travel-impact
Journey-leader to magi searching the King of kings with joy.***

Kindling reality-awakenings for inquisitive kids
Lights are the stars**** along truth-seeking luminescence
Marvels with wisdom-beam midst queries on magic or mystery
Night’s treasures as “diamonds in the sky” bringing wealth nigh
Opening opportunities to dream and soar with optimism.

Radiant gems to aspiring champions revealing rewards
Steadfast signs are assuring stars***** against skepticism
Testifying about timeless blessed celestial triumph.

Up above they are stars****** reflecting Christ’s glory ultimately
Victorious in asserting faith that vanquishes vain vision
Watchfulness they show, glowing for guided winning

Making It Great In2008 By Watching What Wise Men Do (Part 25)

we're all natural born watchers just looking around
at the TV, the Internet and newspapers all over town
be it something or somebody we usually just watch and wait
to look up to anything that may reinforce our faith
be it something constructive or counterproductive
to watch what others do and then try to imitate
to look at success and then try to emulate

the Wise Men, the Magi were 3 men you should look upon
for they knew to follow that star which was on the horizon
yet King Herod who was the ruler of that little town
could not spiritually ascertain what was really going down
he had heard that the nation of Israel would have a new born king
and then he became paranoid and anxious over everything
he was under the impression that God would have told him first
of the Saving Son who was about to appear on earth

God did a new thing in a completely new way
but many missed the true meaning of the birth that day
but the Magi those 3 Wise Men were in step with God
they were spiritually aware of what was about to start
it's not about man's logic, rationale nor reason
for God is the omnipotent One for all seasons
don't let anyone try to diminish the awesomeness of God's might
don't let anyone try to dim the brilliance that is His guiding light
making it great in 2008 by watching what wise men do
making it great in 2008 by believing that God is watching over you

to be struck by the mystery that is God's power
to believe that He is with you at any given hour
to follow that star whenever you hear the angels sings
to trust that God will guide you in everything
there's no need to fear the unknown or what's down the road
just watch what wise men do when they give God total control
by following a star which led them to a child born in a manger
and not to reveal what they found for to tell would have brought danger
and after presenting the gifts and thus fulfilling the prophecy
they left Bethlehem by another way and continued their journey

when God gives a revelation and then tells you to get up and leave
let no one stop nor hinder you from doing what you believe
don't ever put reason before revelation as reason will only go so far
for revelation is the exclamation that will reveal to you a star
so making it great in 2008 by watching what wise men do
and by following that star wherever it leads you to

If Christmas Didn'T Exist

Imagine how sad December would seem
if Christmas didn't exist; only the chill
and wind would be felt through the frozen bones,
nobody would live in these northern, frigid zones.

What was the true purpose of Jesus's birth?
Some even would say that it never occurred,
and why would the Magi travel long days
and nights to pay homage to the humblest of Kings?

It was prophesied by Isaiah in the Old testament and the Wise Men believed him,
following with awe the biggest and brightest star that they had ever seen;
and didn't it seem strange that God would choose those simple shepherds
to be the first to hear that message sung by a thousands of angels?

Wouldn't you be happy when a child cries out and enters life?
Wouldn't you celebrate that event with overwhelming joy and grace?
The same way Jesus entered this world to suffer and die,
and if Christmas didn't exist, who would remember who He was?

Wouldn't that envious angel, whom God expelled from Heaven with haste,
laugh loudly, knowing that we don't worship Him in spirit and faith?
Fallen Angels are the eternal enemies of this Child, who atoned our sins
by paying with His precious blood...to vindicate the Devil's astute lies!

If Christmas didn't exist, some unbelievers would shout and rejoice,
happy to erase Christ's redemptive message from the earth's surface...
contradicting the Scriptures themselves and the Divinity behind it!
Didn't Herod the Great hate Jesus, fearing He would have become the new King?

Still Stands the Night

Still stands the night,
an immovable mountain.
A light snowfall of moonlight
on its exposed terrain.
An isolated star shimmers and shakes
its avalanche of brilliance,
outshining myriads of lesser snowflakes
that adorn the night’s somnolence.

In the lee of this mountain,
amongst taupe shadows deep,
three riders their clutches tauten
halting their steely steeds, while other men sleep.
Their chill- wizened faces
look up to the sky
whilst blind night embraces
the three Magi.

Through centuries they’ve travelled
like astronauts through space
though men still hadn’t unravelled
the first mystery that had taken place
on the outskirts of this beleaguered city.
They gaze at the star questioning:
was man ready for the immensity
of the Second Coming?

The frosty light of the star
then started to melt and wane.
It was too soon for the avatar,
the world was still profane.
They re- revved their machines
and set off into orbit exquisite.
Astronomers observing the dying sheen
said t’was a star of hope that surely would revisit.

They Followed a Star

They followed a star

As time and place has its solution for all,
those wise men knew, that a messiah will come to call.
Recognizing those celestial lights with their eyes,
that history and culture will change its destinies by surprise.
Traveling with the light so bright no doubt,
knowing the new born king is the paramount.
Speaking of love to the depth in eternal height,
when the soul can reach all when feeling out of sight.
For the ends of being and the ideal of grace,
showing compassion and forgiveness of every day’s.
The comet prophesying the revelation by tragic and fortune,
then other kings did already fear its spiritual procession.
Gold, frankincense and myrrh as protection brought,
then the magi knew the trouble in forethought.
They saw the child with mother Mary and worshiped him,
sensing the cosmic conclusion in the stable like a hymn.
The heavens declare the hands of God and the sky proclaims his work,
no speech or language or any voice are heard, but his word.
The answers are in the vortex of my son as gift of compassion,
for all shall know the true lovers revolution.

Hyacintho Caelum

“Hyacintho Caelum”

salvus me
per poetica
Hyacintho Caelum
advenit
sicut turbo
in pluvia

red life reigns
poetry awakens
opening
gifts again

a gain

Life
mysterious
calls us all forward
metronome time
constantly calling

the call
it never changes

the poets’ Majesty
pleasure through
the wrecking balls
dropping white and
black dogs barking pain

blue sky arrives
through inner worlds
ownership -
their belief in faith

messages
in the crazy minds
all turning keys
treasure notes

delivered
and passed
like naughty kids
in class, romantic

black sheep
waving white flags
and all the recalcitrant
revolutionaries

marching metronomes
marking wild rides
through storms
in search of some
golden purpose

down rabbit holes following
their shining diamonds
tears of mutes imparting
stars shining their way

they seem like magi
searching for some better
more beautiful
destiny

dark night
becomes day, eventually
some not blind, find losers
leading the way

red roses,
sacred hearts
deep, some
bitter and dark

turning inwards
then outwards
now becoming bees
pollinating the blooming

of all the others
lost then found

poets
and their stories
parked, for sedentary
ghosts to read
ignite new sparks

blessed
through soft and harsh
sentences
in the prisons
of their mind

they are now
opening doors

like the Magi
protectively
holding forth
their Frankincense
and Myrrh

wisdom for fools
now wise men
is eventually found
in an unrecognised world
birthing pearls

placed reverently
on electric walls of worship
lights glowing ultra violet
are ignited by something other
to lead the way

Winter watches sky
arriving on clouds
Christmas melts all
like a Summer heatwave
hearts to bloom again

we have read
what others wrote
poems and verses
in their ancient tomes
their scrying books

before us they
were searching
for their purpose
written with love
through joy and pain

gifts and lessons
through
one true word
our destiny
now begins

LOVE

always
wins

awakening
awakenings

The Magi Beats Sweet Mindless Hum Drums Against Day's End

"The Magi Beats Sweet Mindless Hum Drums Against Day's End"

The abstract lines
you hold onto tight
are leaving marks
in my heart
like rope burns
the pleasure of winning
by not giving in
and then some pain
when you walk my mind,
you never turn away, you stay

My mind
is volcanic
a salve for romantics
a soiled grave for real living
it is bedded 6ft deep in dreams
and new sheets wrapped
around us, the notes old
for loving and singing
it’s unforgiving
Love, my Love

A tug of war
between being there
and sliding closer to here
I kiss and swap notes
on a tongue enveloping
our secrets you wet
in the swimming of
hum drum daily exits
book marking
our beginnings

Two Wonderful Gifts

December is known for short days and snow,
and for frozen skies over oceans that billow,
in the midst of winter's winds fiercely howling:
God chose the coldest day for Christ's coming!

In some countries, Nativity scenes
are staged alive as in the town of Assisi,
don't skip the arrival of the Magi
riding those camels that bring three gifts!

No night is more festive than Christmas,
listen to kids caroling from door to door,
their love for Jesus is a delight to explore;
greet them with joy, pause your chores!

Everybody must remember that Jesus
was the Redeemer, the Lamb of sacrifice,
Herod hunted this child because of envy,
he wanted to be the king chosen by destiny!

December brings us two wonderful gifts:
one is snow, the other is pure grace;
the Shepherd seeks His stranded sheep,
who lost their way by a steep creek!
