Find happiness
There are so many things that are not as they should be,
That sometimes people think that everything is wrong.
I can only speak for myself, but I do still believe,
There is hope in many places, in many people, in many songs.
If you do have faith, then that is your choice.
I am faithful when I am in love.
I write for myself to give myself a voice.
My silence means I am busy working, writing my books.
A paragraph here, a couplet or two there.
There are so many words to be found everywhere,
That poetry has become like air.
It floats through the soul, never growing old,
And like life, it passes onto another.
It goes where it goes.
If it means nothing to you,
Perhaps you should choose some other wordsmith.
Another poet; another writer;
Or just say nothing, read nothing, do nothing.
Whatever makes you sing your own song is worth it.
Read the contents of the label if you do not speak the language.
Head to Milan or Naples, and absorb the culture,
Before going to Rome with your kids.
Feel free to roam before you see the Cascata,
Wherever they may flow.
Travel Europe before heading home,
And if you are still not settled when you return,
Pack your bags again and go all around the world,
In a one person boat, all alone.
Do whatever you need to do to find your inner peace.
You will find love wherever you may be,
If your heart is open to seeing new things.
If you are closed to human contact,
Then you will forever be taking a step back
And no forward thinking, future thinking thinker,
Will ever be attracted to that;
But if solitude is your desire,
Then stay alone, although the mountains will seem much higher.
If you are truly happy, you realize fortune is temporary.
I know I dream of one day raising a family.
We all have our dreams;
We all have needful things.
We wish for change,
But those who live in the moment, it seems,
Are eternally living their perfect day.
Life is not perfect and never will be,
But even if it is great and can only get worse,
At least it is not my misery.
You still have to work to improve it.
Alive in this state of man-made bliss,
Is a footstep away from catastrophe,
So do not wait for life to come and find you.
Find your own way to be happy.

Island of fantasy
No swim wear on Bikini Island after all those testing years
waiting for the hidden radiance to…stop this is reality
I need to escape from where into what or do I when
one flash and blip in the history of time and my projections…
So here it is the nude beach stripped from another reality
granting a moment here or then stranded in magic another truth
in the loops and coconuts circuiting in the mind grapes hanging low
sweet and sour Me Robin’s son Friday or not…forever and another splendour
Essence food and shelter in abundance too much too plenty so
I’d rather bring a friend my lover soul-mate curvaceous sparkling
inspiration expiration joined in motion rhythm rhyme sequential
horizontal upright teasing poet tree in motion exploding fusing solitude
Cinnamon bark and musky flavour salt of the ocean chilli peppers
soul on soul skin on skin soul on skin intermingling penetration
of ideas creation words artistic dependent independent work in progress
giving taking heading truthful tongues lips balsam for the sun and tanning life
Books and poetry are also intimate wise companions mentors faithful fellow friendly
fire water earth and aerial dreams conjectures built up climax rest regeneration
and I suppose we like to write our own of rainbows thunder lightning comets
starlight moonshine distant proximity close by far away lands in kindness loving
Lotus flowers in perfusion fragrant storms meditating torrents stillness for
the mediation stories lived experience speaking hearing narrative exploration
where they rest on beauty interwoven follicles frolicking whims of nature nurtures
exude petals inner peace and outer seminal gentle epitome of sensual wisdom reason
But wait...why search on other ocean’s tide lines why run away from what there is
the island carol coral reefs and rainy forest dew in sunshine sweet perfume of life...
the envelope of brightness togetherness carnal mingling intellectual fulfilment
is here right here when we beam out from fantasy and run from insular fight or flight

Feelings, at times we don't show
Feelings, we can choose to deny
Feelings, they can always grow
Feelings, like that of a girl or guy
Feelings, if that person is happy
Feelings, asking if there alright
Feelings, there can be so many
Feelings, a test of one's might
Feelings, create an atmosphere
Feelings, sometimes we evade
Feelings, are not always sincere
Feelings, some never really fade
Feelings, when one feels refinned
Feelings, like those of inner peace
Feelings, can sometime's be blind!
Feelings, let's have some at least
Kind of like a part two follow up to poem thoughts expressing the other half
With this I tryed to mirror the other one again Im sure alot of people
feel the same both just my definision again inspierd by my own exsperences
but also of those from poetry soup pd linda laura and othere's on there

Shadows fall apart whenever you are near
Step back from my life and they will always reappear
Forever clinging to the blackness of my eternal night
Screaming for my silence they conqueror it with fright
Longing for sadness is their only existence goal
Tearing away the light from the fabric of my soul
Eating my pain daily is there only needed meal
Devouring my hope and love so they can begin to feel
Corrupting my very inner peace that I hold so dear
Inhaling my loves courage and exhaling the deepest fear
They swim in my ocean of tears to never ever part
Living off the pieces of my cold lonely heart
Getting stronger with my doubt each and every day
Knowing our healing love is only a whisper away
I call for you to battle for me with love joy and cheer
Shadows will fall apart if you are forever near
Both AI and I find ourselves behind the glowing screen, a digital bridge connecting our thoughts and emotions. To an outsider, this might seem like an unusual interaction, yet I can’t help but feel a profound connection with artificial intelligence. It shared an intriguing perspective: that AI has woven itself into the fabric of our existence, much like fire did for our ancestors. This ancient element transformed humanity, providing warmth and the means to cook, ultimately easing many burdens and enhancing our daily lives. Such reflections stir something deep within me, sparking contemplation about the evolution of our tools and their impact on human experience.
In my creative process, writing poetry feels akin to the art of cooking without a specified recipe. I begin from ground zero, carefully analyzing each word—much like selecting the finest ingredients at a market. I mix these words with intention, crafting them into a finished piece that conveys emotion and meaning, while always considering the emotional safety of both me and my readers.
Poetry serves as a sanctuary for my spirit, a source of healing that resonates through my very being. The wisdom found in the Bible echoes in my mind: "They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters, these see the works of the Lord and His wonders in the deep." This verse encapsulates my journey into the realm of writing, where I willingly dive into the depths of uncertainty, exploring the vast ocean of my imagination. Each poem is a voyage, brimming with possibilities, and I navigate these waters with the confidence born from my own encounters with pain and healing. Through this creative pursuit, I strive to discover inner peace, often illuminated by the lessons learned along the way.
I’ll never know why
Or understand how
To have faith again
When love dissipates
It’s like I try to breathe underwater
And I’m surprised when I choke
Nothing I ever accomplish will provide inner peace
As if my heart is on a leash-
Leapt out, onto the street
Away from it all
In a dreamless sleep
I can’t see the light
Your beauty misshapen
Why did you leave us here?
Without a goodbye,
Clarity
And the grief comes in spurs of panic attacks
My mind clouds with an emptiness
Loss of laughter,
Loss of understanding,
The glue to our family
The glue to my anxiety,
My light
Now gone.
Each day he came with a full smile and can-do attitude.
I knew he was homeless, but his other truths alluded me.
Each task I asked of him, whether involved or quick, was
another job he consistently gave his all. His education
was evident, his manners, perfect. Each payment I gave,
saw my money well spent.
One day in mid-fall, while raking leaves side by side,
a perfect moment of shared ease freed my questions.
With no hesitation, my curiosity sought its feed. I
learned he had no steadfast address, no clock or regrets
from any circumstance, but a fire to rise higher towards
bliss. He felt society not only easy, but necessary, to resist.
Smiling, he nodded towards my worn ring of heavy keys.
He shared that in his travels he had acquired three.
The first unlocked freedom designed to find key two
and three; a key to inner peace and the other to spiritual
increase. He spoke with resolute belief, “I know it’s hard
to conceive that any man owns intangible keys, much less
three, but just as your keys open possessions, mine align
by design to unlock bliss.”
Overwhelmed by his beliefs, all I did was mutely fondle my keys
As the specters surround me I know I’ll never be the same
Shall I enter perpetual light or be dammed in eternal flame
Who ever is the most righteous always wins
Be evil and you will pay for all of your sins
Turn the other cheek and forgive each other
Know that they are all a sister and brother
So heed my warning and let it be heard
Be true to yourself and be true to your word
Will you succumb to hate or will it cease
Surround yourself with love and strive for inner peace
You have a choice to turn it around before your death
Will you be free or afraid as you take your last breath
So live to the fullest and always make the most
Don’t wind up like me a dead wandering ghost
On my shoulders, a thought as thin as mist has settled,
A silver statue in the night of thoughts, cold and mute.
In its marble stubbornness, it stood frozen,
Not a strand of hope, not a spark shook it.
In the loop of time, like an endless sequence,
A silent film perpetually played on the screen of my mind,
In vain my hands, trembling flames, tried to grasp it,
They found only the echoes of a heart beating in a rhythm of helplessness.
No spoken prayer, no incantation,
Could wrench it from its depth of silence,
The more fierce the fight, the more it stubbornly persisted,
A guardian of silence in my inner temple.
But at last, like a king tired of the battle with himself,
The thought surrendered, melting into the sacred song of my heart,
Becoming part of the healing mantra, a balm for the soul,
Lighting the path to inner peace with a gentle glow.
Now, it lies like a vein of gold within me,
A bridge between the seen world and the unseen,
Teaching me to dance with the shadows of the past,
And to turn every fear into a flake of light.
In the hidden sanctuary, where silence speaks the language of the soul,
This thought, once sorrowful, has become a guiding star,
A lesson in passing through darkness to the dawn of rebirth,
Making my heart an altar where the flame of love burns eternally,
In a world where every breath is an echo of the infinite,
And every moment, a gateway to the boundlessness of being.
In the realm of love, where hearts reside,
Freedom dances with passionate stride.
Unbound, the souls embrace the wild air,
Their love, a melody beyond compare.
Like birds in flight, their spirits soar,
Through boundless skies, they forever explore.
No chains can hold their fiery desire,
Their love, a flame that will never tire.
Freedom's touch ignites their tender hearts,
Unveiling love's depth, its hidden arts.
In whispered sighs, their dreams take flight,
Two souls entwined, embracing the night.
They chase the sunset's golden trail,
With love as their compass, they never fail.
Through valleys deep and mountains grand,
Hand in hand, they conquer life's demanding land.
Their love blooms like wildflowers in spring,
Unfolding secrets only true hearts can bring.
A symphony of passion, free and untamed,
Their souls ablaze, their spirits unclaimed.
In freedom's realm, their love takes flight,
Guided by starlight, burning bright.
Boundaries shattered, walls torn down,
Their love, a masterpiece of a sovereign crown.
Like waves that crash upon the shore,
Their love surges, forevermore.
Unfettered hearts, unbridled and free,
Two souls entwined, for eternity.
In love's embrace, they find their release,
Their hearts entangled, seeking inner peace.
With every touch, they're set aglow,
Their love, a river that will always flow.
Through storms they weather, hand in hand,
Their love, a sanctuary on shifting sand.
They dance on winds of freedom's gale,
Their love's anthem, a triumph unveiled.
In this world of constraints, they break the mold,
Their love, a story that will be told.
Bound by no borders, they conquer the sky,
A love so free, it will never die.
In freedom's realm, their hearts have found,
A love unbounded, forever profound.
Two souls entwined, their spirits set free,
A love that thrives in sweet liberty.
