Good Morning
I woke the morn with life's new lease,
a friend I've found named inner peace.
Now given a purpose for my cause,
I will run with zeal without any pause.
My goal everyday to greet fellow man,
with "Hello Sir "or "Good Day Ma'am".
Surely seems simple enough I know,
but could put a smile on a face or even a glow.
When faced with a person old or young,
don't think on bad things they may have done.
But remember your child, when looking at them,
then it's easy to judge and forgive their sin.
Blessing or curse in the tongue we have,
do we use poison or do we use salve.
The choice we choose could make or break,
someone's day for Heaven's sake.
So have a good morning and have a blessed day.
Now when someone we meet, we'll know what to say.
