“Halos of a Thousand Lashes” 

Sweet dreams
for runnaway children
looking for nursery rhymes

a sweet balm comes to mind
fairy songs sung 
to close their eyes

fluttering a thousand lashes
like angels wings

hearts wear thorny crowns
for halos seeking home 
opening arms

shooting cupids arrows
across the universe 
for better tomorrows

Thought I'D Ask You To Marry Me This Way

MIGHT THIS PLEASE SIR?
4 CUPS OF STRAWBERRIES
1 CUP OF THINLY SLICED RHUBARB
2 CUPS OF STRAWBERRY CHAMPAGNE
1 & 1/2 CUP OF WATERMELON CHAMPAGNE
3 CUPS OF SUGAR
1/4 CUP OF LEMON JUICE = 2 TABLESPOONS OF CORNSTARCH
5 TABLESPOONS OF CHOPPED MINT

MAKE A SYRUP WITH SUGAR ADD CHAMPAGNE (BOTH)
ALLOW TO SIMMER UNTIL THE MIXTURE THICKENS.
ADD LEMON JUICE AND MINT
WHEN

Enjoy your techno-toys while you can;
As you frantically surf the internet
In a vain, pathetic attempt to "keep up"
With meaningless jumbles of jibber-jabber
Which you consider essential information.

All those gotta-have gadgets you crave
Like some new kind of 21st-Century addict
Are gouging a hole out of your soul
As they maintain a sensation of completeness
By filling you up with pastries

                To make them love us, to make them woo

What if lighting were red and the sky the

purest white........he thought.


He was used by the pace of life.....the pace of NOTHING


He stared at his hands...the cuts over the knuckles,

Slices over the palms.


His hands looked like the back of a man

who received  40 lashes across his back

from a condemned  ship sailing the High seas.

I have done well with words for so many years
Perhaps a pepper of deadly
You never came to me. . . and you did
So let’s just you and me
You and me. . . me and me you
Here’s the jist. . . a me and me you
Doing what we both have done
Ain’t no worry for words now

Lashes Fair

Fragile bars of jet black, frame, reclaim
fallen foe ‘pon fair cheek tamed.
The scratch and sting of those misplaced
whilst rubbing palm on grimaced face
Upturned emphasis of souls delight,
caressed by tongue kisses in candlelight,
protector of twin orbs rare
shadow of all solar glare
eye lashes.

Masculine female
with little splats of femme 
I like the boy in you 
It's what got my attention
but your heart beats 
purely feminine 
your so unique
I I think I need a vitamin
to handle a dose of you and me
such intensity rarely exists 
in the heterosexual world
I'll be your girl if you'll be

but the Judge
