This world is a foolish world
a world full of its own pleasure
seeking satisfaction in the wrong places
fooling itself in no small measure
God has spoken to them in truth
revealing His character and godliness
sending prophets and even His dear son
who displayed His perfect righteousness
But mankind is hell-bent on destruction
sinfulness rules in their very heart
being full of evil, idolatry and pride
these things are found in their every part
God is God and won't change His plan
He seeks lost sinners to repent
promising them to change their heart
if they will only believe His Son, He sent
Jesus is the son promised in God's word
to bring salvation to the lost
died on Calvary's cross for their sin
shed His blood, His ultimate cost
(Jeremiah 7:9-10)
9 Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not;
10 And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?)
That time before conception,
When the spirit hovers over the deep,
And life has not been formed;
The egg in a drought of fertilization,
When the Father approaches the seed,
With terms and choices and laws.

The Prophet Jeremiah here truly speaks
being God's voice among the nations
spreading the truth of God for all to hear
as He does for many an occasion
God has planted here a choice vine
His own people, Israel, of a pure seed
they had the privilege of being His
and the choicest seed indeed to feed
But God's people have turned to folly
they have become degenerate no less
having grown into a wild vine
leaving nothing but soiled todress
No matter the quality of soap
or how hard they rub it to clean
their stain of guilt will all remain
for their sin will be there to be seen
God has declared this by His prophet
speaking by God's authority, He said
only by shedding perfect blood
can God forgive sin by His sovereign head
These words speak to this day
the stain of your guilt is still before me
only by being washed in Jesus' blood
for He died sacrificially on Calvary's tree
mighty messiah
who was named Jeremiah
not a pariah
does intensify
God will come down from the sky
while people will die
there are those we seek
may be mild mixed with the meek
who to we will speak

"Your oracles depressed
I'm finding rest hard-pressed
Why won't the Lord address
Why I feel so hopeless?
Sorrows and sufferings,
Anguish and loud groanings,
And more to undergo -
Babylon's crushing blow."

The paraprophet's mess,
Overcome through faithfulness.
You see them, yet you do not,
Their power lies in their plot,
Deceivers hidden in plain view,
To undermine and cheat you.
Their stunning rise to power,
Owed to their "trap and devour".
Amazing unfaithfulness,
To the Lord of righteousness!
With bows of dishonesty,
They devise a strategy.
With arrows of lying tongue,
The deceivers' trap is sprung.
Training themselves to tell lies,
Disguising themselves as allies,
Designing their trap to surprise,
Their victims suffer demise.
"Fires of affliction await!
They cannot resist My bait!
They are always telling lies!
So, My deadly arrow flies!
They don't listen to My voice.
I'm left with only one choice.
Being unable to repent,
I spring My trap of judgment!
I am hidden in plain sight.
I see in both dark and light.
You think you can deceive Me?
The Ambush Archer is Me!"
There's a confidence to gain
from looking to God on high
for assuredly His promise's rise
upon your soul it will never die
God has plans for all His own
these plans are set eternally sure
never to harm just to prosper
providing a future hope set to endure
Many a saint has known such peace
from trusting in this sovereign Lord
His promises are forever amen!
Jeremiah 29: 11 sends one sweet accord
The apostle Paul speaks of real peace
that comes from having no anxious thought
to bring every situation to God alone
in prayer and petition God's face be sought
Be thankful always for God's grace
receiving His peace guarding your heart
transcending all understanding within you
to be fixed in Christ Jesus as you art
(Jeremiah 29:11 'For I know the plans I have for you', declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.)
(Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.)
There are so many people around this world
rage and malice fills many a heart
which results in fights and battles galore
but the question is where did it all start?
Ever since the world began so long ago
mankind fell into sin causing all to sin
in the garden, iniquity arrived when Adam fell
all mankind then born in sin no one can win
As life goes on in school and adulthood
sin shows it's ugly head with many a fight
both internal and external Satan attacks
using his attacks to draw us in his night
Scripture says that hearts desperately wicked
who indeed can know it's deceitfulness
no words can adequately describe it
for hate is indeed utter sinfulness
But God has provided a remedy
in Jesus Christ God's begotten son
on the cross, He was the perfect sacrifice
taking on man's sin redemption was done
('The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.)
Jeremiah 17: 9,10 (KJV)
This amazing truth blows the mind
the eternal God who created everything
speaks here personally to His prophet
to tell His own what He did bring
astoundingly God knew us before birth
for He formed us in the womb
but scripture speaks of even before
the Lord knew us before we'd room
God in eternity past knew all things
even before creating us in every aspect
He, in particular, knew all of to know
this is the God of all time to connect
In every respect, God set us apart
for He has a purpose for everyone
we all need to heed His every word
walking in step with the heavenly one
This is the great God we adore
for before time He certainly was
and after time God will always be
this is our God with no flaws
(The word of the Lord came to me, saying,
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”)

So many emergency numbers to call
covering every situation under the sun
at the end of the telephone line
human helps there making one run
But these humans can't do it all
the spiritual is beyond their reach
only the supreme spiritual can do
that leaves mankind in total breach
This is where God steps in
clearly issuing his words 'call to me'
promising that he will truly answer
with our eyes great mighty things, we'd see
So this is our great God and saviour
the one who always answers his own
being at their side awaiting their call
sending his love from his heavenly phone
God's emergency call number
being Jeremiah treble three
ring it and receive a triple blessing
from the saviour who sets us free
('Call to me and I will answer you and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.')

This world is full of hopelessness
darkness enraptures it all around
hatred and evil evident to all
sad hearts burdened by sin abound
But there’s hope in midst of darkness
they’re a few who still believe
who look with their eyes upward
to their maker they continually cleave
God is their Lord who blesses them
keeping them safe and eternally secure
holding them close at His side
enabling them to forever endure
Those that willingly trust in the Lord
will know His constant peace and grace
for that will hold them strong and safe
when they look on to His lovely face
This God is always sure and certain
fills His redeemed flock with a living hope
when they look only unto the Lord Jesus
who washes them in His cleansing soap

The Lord of heaven looks upon us
from His lofty perch up on high
there He thinks about us down here
for His thoughts to us do fly
God knows every one of His thoughts
not one of them does He forget
they are all full of His love and mercy
collected up for our God’s blessed net
These thoughts are all of His peace
that God conveys to His own
not one thought of evil at all
for He gave His son them to atone
In all of this God has His purpose
that for His people this peace to receive
so God would give an expected end
to those who did truly believe
( Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.)
A promise is a precious thing
something worth holding on to
it brings peace to a wounded soul
lifting away any type of blue
This promise has divine overtones
for it comes from God the Lord
as the king of heaven has declared
I will deliver by word or sword
Such a promise assures one's heart
that the Lord will truly act
for what He says shall do
making God's word a true fact
There is no need being anxious
for surely not to shed a tear
as God the Lord is the master
from all that make you fear
The hands of men are powerless
before God's majestic holy hand
believe truly on His promise
for only it will ever stand
('But I will deliver you on that day, declares the Lord, and you shall not be given into the hand of the men of whom you are afraid. 18 For I will surely save you, and you shall not fall by the sword, but you shall have your life as a prize of war, because you have put your trust in me, declares the Lord.)
Jeremiah ch. 39 vs. 17-18 (ESV)
Your beautiful smile, the potential in your eyes,
I've watched you fall and get back up a million times,
I don't care what other people say,
Because they don't know your heart and your strength,
Do not be discouraged, I've got your back,
And I'll be here to remind you if you get attacked,
It's all a test to make your heart strong,
To be that love even when the world thinks it's wrong,
Everyone on this earth will have an opinion,
But only you know what's in your heart and what you are thinking,
Always remember your intentions matter more,
The heart of what your living for,
You are beautiful inside and out,
And the tears that you've cried were for the people in doubt,
Inside you already know who you are,
Compassionate heart, you are a child of God.
