Baruch complained about the sorrow, pain, inner turmoil, and restlessness that he had experienced because he carried out God’s will (Jeremiah 45:1-5). Consider what Jesus endured to fulfill God's will for man's salvation. Our motive is to glorify God, and He will ensure that we share in that glory.

"Your oracles depressed I'm finding rest hard-pressed Why won't the Lord address Why I feel so hopeless? Sorrows and sufferings, Anguish and loud groanings, And more to undergo - Babylon's crushing blow." "Baruch, I say to you, Your glory clouds your view. My judgment has come due. Be faithful, carry through! Your life I give as spoil. New life rewards your toil. My glory will honor you, Long after you are through!" The paraprophet's mess, Overcome through faithfulness.
