the dog next to me in line at K-mart was a Pitbull
The lady behind the counter gave her mean looks so slow
I was horrified when she told me what kind of dog it was
The pouch was rather plain, had no fur, hair or fuzz.

I am terrified of them, but we have to allow them in.
If they have a sign that says it is a service dog, said Jenn.
I knew her name from her badge, she had frizzy red hair.
She nearly went insane when the next service animal was a bear.

"ALL MY LIFE YOU HAVE BEEN SO GOOD"
There is a song that I treasure.
It speaks of the goodness of God.
When first heard, I fell to my knees.

"OH, YOUR MERCY NEVER FAILS ME"
God speaks to me with tenderness.
My whole life flashes before me.
Things that bother me vanishes.

"FROM THE MOMENT THAT I WAKE UP"
My heart is filled with gratitude.
God's thoughts of me are filled with love
I start my day sitting with him.

"ALL MY LIFE YOU HAVE BEEN FAITHFUL"
In all the issues I have faced,
God has never abandoned me.
All my life you have been so good

Premium Member A Ghost Story

Sue and I had lost contact when we left school and the Dominican Convent,
Met up ten years later, admitted both of us foolish, each nodded consent,
Had coffee, agreed to meet often, lived in Cape Town, merely a suburb apart,
Both so involved with our families, loved our homes, the Cape so stylish and smart.

She invited me to her home for a braai with her family this coming Sunday,
The door was open, I went in, is that you Jenn, I’ve got to look good today,
Mother-in-law coming, do come up, but what took you so long coming upstairs,
I met an old man, we chatted a while, what a sweetie, said his name was Zairs

Who, she asked me in disbelief, Zairs, impossible, loved to play musical chairs,
He told me, is it your dad, Sue,you look alike, spoke of you and how he cares,
But you’ve gone pale as if you’ve seen a ghost, why are you so terribly upset,
Jenn, dad died years ago, seems he got lost, confused, but glad you two met.

Revival and O Canada

I
O when body, mind, spirit are in unison
Seeking, as Jacob wrestled, The One
We had the taste of old-time revival
Every hymn was word for word a prayer
A song, a delightful serenade of Him

II
Do it again LORD, for this town, the nation
We Praise Thee o God for the Son of Thy Love
For Jesus who died & has gone up above
Hallelujah Thine the Glory, hallelujah amen
Hallelujah Thine the Glory, revive us again
III
Shalom shalom blessings and wisdom
As agape Love grows (Thomas, Jenn, Michelle, Anaya, Paula, Bill, & all my Courteous Canadian Siblings)

Grieving Holy Spirit : Ephesians 4:30

I
I would, help me LORD Jesus, advise 3 Scriptures for learning more about the Holy Spirit's role on earth and in CHURCH, as Jesus is at the right hand of God

II
John 14 is a part of the Gospels that explains what Jesus intended for the Holy Spirit among His followers. Romans 8 (26-end) explains how the Holy Spirit even "teaches" us the truth about prayer, including for the Creation that's groaning. I read Dr. Jenn Proxenos's poem today about the environmental damage humans are doing to our planet-village! Sometimes, we are at a loss how to pray. Third Scripture: Read Ephesians 4, and see why the New Testament can be summed up in: DONT' GRIEVE and DONT LEAVE -do not grieve the Holy Spirit AND do NOT abandon faith in Jesus's sacrifice for our sins/freedoms!
III
Next, I want to expose the lie of so-called pastors who "cause" church goers to fall down (allegedly slain in the spirit) during worship of the Holy Spirit, or God(?). Read ahead Romans Chapter 8, verse 11.

June Blessings

The days of June are here,
You hear the sound of the songbirds.

The sacred birthdays of our children Kirk and his wife Jenn,
Happy Birthday to you both.

Health and happiness to you both with your children Merrick and Maya,
A very Happy Father"s Day to my son Kirk and all my relatives,.

Days of warmth and happiness,
Cottage days where you could enjoy the beautiful weather.

i remember the cottage days growing up,
Each summer our parents would rent a cottage.

Good memories, one year father rented an island,
He packed the Volkswagen with our clothes and foods.

Another time he rented a cottage at North Bay,
Near the water where you could walk in the shallow water.

Days we will always remember,
The happiness of summer.

June Harmony

June is a beautiful summer month,
My son Kirk and wife Jenn have birthdays.

Happy Birthday, health and wealth all year through
Many happy days with your children.

Father's Day is celebrated,
Where fathers are praised and revered.

Wedding anniversary of my son Kirk and his wife Jenn,
Miracles continue to be a blessing.

Summer begins and blossoms,
Our favorite time of year appears.

The trees blossom beautifully,
The gardens flourish with a variety of flowers.

Summer walks scenically beautiful,
With relatives and friends.

Memories of days at the cottage,
With Walter and our children.

This month of summer begins and continues,
Swimming is a favorite pastime.

Picnics in the park and tossing the frisbee.
Enjoying this time of year.

How To Build Up An Iron Stomach By Jenn Shelton

I kept no watch nor waited for them to produce
For I am the hunter because I’ve learned once
Once
From being the hunted

From being the hunted
the clown
the object of fascination

I kept no watch
only contentment in my heart
Compassion at the arcs of my shoulders

For I am the arc, the passion
the unwise
Yet: Look at my long hair. I must be free.

Hopes and Dreams

God has hopes and dreams for us,
I dream of getting married to a handsome man again.

Dream of buying a beautiful cottage,
Living in the true north,

I hope to become a performer,
Used to play the piano for teas.

I even sang an Elvis song,
 For the dinning-hall unrehearsed,

My favorite neighbors applauded,
Liking my offstage performance.

I sang with the Mississauga churches,
My favorite was to sing with the folk music group.

We would practice during the week,
On stage on Sundays, very fulfilling and good company.

I was a back-up singer with the local church.
My son Erik was in the audience.

He used to bring me a Poinsetta at Christmas,
Kirk married Jenn and now they have beautiful children, Maya and Merrick.

Erik married Lisette and they had a beautiful Hawain Wedding,
Costa Rica was their chosen holiday.

We remember these good experiences,
God has blessed us and we should always have hopes and dreams.

Love Letters In the Sand

While living at our parents and grandparent's house in Lorne Park,
We used to walk along the seashore of Jack Darling Park

My youngest son Erik and I,
My oldest son Kirk was at school.

I would take along a stick and draw a palace in the sand,
Divorced in those days.

We would skip stones in the water,
A pastime my children and I enjoyed.

Days where we get a picnic lunch and went to Jack Darling.
We would toss the frisbee around.

Then we would go to the Lorne Park library and Erik would stay with the children,
While mother took classes on how to cope as a single parent.

We would see their father now and then as a friend,
The children went on to be well-educated and both children married.

Erik married his school sweetheart Lisette,
Kirk married his friend Jenn and they met as missionares.

I think of these beautiful memories,
I thank God, you cannot always predict the future.

I pray that God continues to keep us safe,
He always watches over us.

To Jenn

I have a sister who's is also a friend
She lives in a far away land
We never met and probably will never do
That never stops her saying I love you
She keeps me in her prayers everyday
So I keep well and be happy always
