Voices ringing with the same story
Like they did long time ago
For it's the only thing they know
It's the only thing they can do
To jabber behind someone's shadow
Vilifying day and night
They're like parrots jabbering
About how sour a grape is
For they failed to plant their own
Or they themselves don't have that kind of value
They hate beautiful things
Because they simply can't see beauty in themselves
They only like doing and saying foolish things
Because it's the only thing they know
Like it brings them ultimate self satisfaction

I rode a train on one fine day
to gorgeous place so faraway,
where my mind and soul would venture
on a journey called adventure.
What a journey filled with delights;
Gorgeous ladies, so pleasant sights.
Fine gentlemen in coats and ties.
Festive feeling was on the rise.
Burst of gladness from everywhere.
Laughter echoed from here to there.
Thrilled voices rang like fine sweet wine
from jolly jabbers, so divine.

The Mockingbird sings out his misleading best,
in hopes to attract a dupe with a nest,
where the squatter believes mate’s eggs should belong;
so mimics and jabbers uncountable songs.
Catbirds and Thrashers, related critters,
both grey North Americans sport throats of a twitter.
These gifted Warblers mock tricky bird tunes,
deceiving, deluding as feathered dragoons.
In fairness to balance the Tweeters’ intent,
creating, demanding a need to invent
a song to attract a new or lost mate:
so, a beacon to follow and commitment to state.
EXAMPLE MOCK SONGS
whistling, hey-hey yip pittie-yap
frog gurgle, snarf-chickie claw-saw
peep peeping piccolo-staccato bleat
sniftering chit-chat, yodel-do do
snerling, rat trap, blah tat-tat-tat
crunchy nasal chirp, coo-coo-coo

Blind date is handsome, and was great until his mouth opened.
He jabbers on, not noticing I have not said anything for eight minutes.
My corpse is walking away, my flesh falls off. I turn to bones.
He does not notice.
Wait! I need fresh lipstick to do this properly.
Mommy says any girl would be lucky to land me, he tells me.
Mom says I am a catch. Mom says you would be lucky to snap me up.
Mommy says any girl would….
Sure, if you want a girl instead of a woman, I think.
I reach for my reddest lipstick. Paint my lips.
Smack them He is still rambling.
Mom says….
I dot my cheeks with my lipstick, rose red.
I start making circles around my chin.
Jabbering stops. What are you DOING? He asks me.
Monster boy comes out. I am relieved when he returns to his mommy.

Jabbers on endlessly
Jawbone puppet with string
Jaded with raging sin
Jumps over fellow man
Jail of his own lone truth
Jagged bone cuts his fate
Jackass jealous – no use

I have a new grandson-
born on the fifth of may-
who is just about perfect
in nearly every way.
From the crown of his head
to the tip of his toes,
and back again to
his little button nose.
He has the full compliment
of everything he should-
ten fingers, ten toes-
and of course-
one of those.
He is a little towhead
with eyes of dark blue,
and every time I see him
he can manage something new.
He is my daughter’s son
so he jabbers all the time-
he even seems already
to enjoy a nursery rhyme.
Of course the meaning in the words
is not as yet found-
but he responds to the rhythm
and the rhyming sound.
Perhaps in future years,
he too will write poetry-
but if he does-
I certainly hope-
he’ll do better than me

I have a little brother
And his name is Lee
I was only 2 years old
When he joined our family
As kids we got up to mischief
Used to make each other laugh
He'd get me into trouble with mum
So I'd splash him in the bath
We would pull stupid faces
I'd whisper rude words in his ear
Only things like knickers and bum
But it was his laugh mum would hear
He used to nick the biscuits
Hide them in his slacks
I used to get the blame for it
And earned myself a smack
I grew up and learned a lot
but he just stayed the same
He doesn't know how to read or write
But he can spell his own name
See my little brother is special
In a child's mind yet a man
He jabbers on and stutters
Not many understand
I know he still nicks biscuits
He knows how I like my tea
he knows I'll forgive him all his sins
And I know he loves me
I have a little brother
And his name is Lee
My little brother is special
Especially to me

Advertising has us in it's wrappers
here's the bad stuff ~ here the clappers,
it seems the product needs the jabbers
like a potato chip ~ the grabber!
but for the quaintness of the blabbers
I could not focus ~ or react thus
now here's a cute phrase ~ DIPPLE DABBERS
they're not like "p r i n g l e s" ~
They're just "ADAPTERS"!
Note ~ Hi Mark Pringle (our poetic benefactor) Had to say something that could
separate the wimps from the "snappers!"

Never mind lil momma,
its coming into summer,
and the sunspots are blazing hot,
my mobile is blocking out my ex
even thought i asked it not,
14 times dumped,
subconscious gazumped,
her messages i aint gitting, got?
a higher power does deflower,
me mobile phone cannot,
a blocking out subconscious rout,
and the battry dies a lot,
phone don't work,
answering machine jerk,
just jabbers jinglish mocks
phone still rings n dingalings ,
put me mobile into hock?
thank you p.d.

If it rattles round in your head,
write it down the dummy said,
2am what great fortune,
someone jabbers at the moon,
me computer says orright....write...tonight..
back to sleep no more jabber blight... quite...

Its feet are tiny dimeter,
Body, spirit, soul, trimeter,
Would you look at those ears and eyes
Whose tetrameter rhyme defies
Its foot with pentameter toes,
Smelled by monometer nose!
Don’t fret when its iamb voice speaks
Cheerful quatrains for days and weeks.
Stand still while it jabbers spondee,
In stanzas of metered trochee.
Well, my friend, please do not pretend,
Or you’ll cause more stress at the end.
Each verse it speaks is oh, so sweet
For it’s growing Longfellow feet!
Sit back, relax, put on a smile,
You’ve been zapped by a poet’s grandchild!

You think by talking sweet to me that you'll score,
But I am woman, hear me ROAR!!
I respect myself to much to just give my goods away,
To you and your quick, boring, selfish lay!
Call me ol'fashion but I take my time,
Cause getting to know one another is not a crime.
Yes, I like to take things slow,
Maybe then your true self will show.
If I like you, you will know,
If I don't, then out the door you'll go!
So be a gentlemen and help us with our seats,
Don't treat us like we're a dirty piece of meat!
You could offer us your coat when we get cold,
Being a gentlemen never grows old.
Also always be polite and use your manners,
Don't be one of those rude jobber-jabbers!
If you want to be with me, there's one thing you have to do,
Just bring the gentlemen out in you!
