If our love is a sin, then heaven must be full of such tender and selfless sinning as ours— Radclyffe Hall
Explore themes of love and identity
Of Stephen Gordon’s innate sense of masculinity
Since a child, her desire, ‘women’
The idea that if love is considered a sin
The unfolding of a female sexual invert
The act of loving must be a tender selfless act, revert?
Love itself is not inherently sinful or
complexities of love, we shan’t ignore
But rather the circumstances surrounding it
Misfits from Malvern to London and then to Paris!
Ira furor brevis, the frailty, taboo and strife
Fellow q***r characters, all walks of life
From the *sapphic salon hostess Valérie Seymour
To the 'miserable army' and more
of outcasts that frequents the 'merciless
Drug-dealing, death-dealing' bars of Montmartre
Written in another time, still support and solidarity to
generations of LGBTQ genre
*Sapphic is an umbrella term for same-gender loving women or woman-aligned people, including lesbians and bisexual+ women. It is used to describe topics, activities, and ideas related to same-sex attraction among women. The term can also refer to the Greek lyric poet Sappho.

The visitors arrive and I must bear
Their comments are not that I really care.
I stare at them as they would stare at me;
Until they break the ice, act so beastly.
Listen to their litany of abuse,
"Look well, her eyes are closed, having a snooze?"
"Isn't this an invert of a known painting?"
"Nice auburn hair though she looks like fainting."
"Not as good as Mona, now that's a dear."
I cannot understand why they come here.
They dare compare me to that wanton lass
How many men know she was sick, alas?
Finally, they leave except for one man.
I know that I can return his love for me.
If it were in my power down I'd come
Leave this mural, on his lips and kiss him some.
The painter draws our love and endeavour,
Happy; we'll be each other forever.

reversing polarity totally
we become the bliss flame
delighting in piercing form
meticulously cleansing sins*
(*a euphemism for ignorance)
illuminating decaying body
and igniting toroidal heart
we see deluded ego identity
apprehensive feeling bliss
being magnetism unknown
and so we comfort the ego
by taking it up Jacob’s ladder
step by step till it recognises
that all that is is Self alone

You say I’m made to be a spade but that just curls my wings
I sit here ready to scoop up the widest range of things
Scooping apples off the ground and thrusting them all forward
To where the wheelbarrow awaits as I denude the orchard
They say to call a spade a spade is honesty at work
I do not know who said that but he was a total jerk
For spades can dig a tidy hole as that is what they’re for
But I can dig a hole and I can do a whole lot more
So if you call a spade a spade, it isn’t quite a sin
But please accept that if you do, you may invert my grin
For mixing sand and gravel in a mix of three in one
Is something for a specialist, and I, indeed, am one
So grab my handle, use your foot to push me in the ground
Make a hole that’s very square or even one that’s round
But when it comes to flinging all that soil to one side
Only I can do it best for I’m so very wide
Time was when a cellar-man would use me scooping coal
And industry employed me as its furnace feeding soul
I’ll always fight my corner and I’ll state my case real loud
For I am no mere spade; I am a shovel and I’m proud!

Water flew,
it was above my head
waving or flapping
or did it row?
The boat
was a situation
adrift inside a cockleshell.
I recall the moon vividly
for it was not there.
Dreams fold inwards,
invert and leach
behind shuttered lids.
Searchlight-sight turns to floodlight,
the peripheral is everywhere.
Awareness rises to the top
rocking back and forth
heart-waves - tolling
like a sea tossed buoy,
Sometimes, mid-deep in flight
you find a paddle,
sometimes you don't.

Invert polarity
of mind-body with space,
that subject-object merge
in singularity,
giving rise to bliss surge.
Invert polarity
of fears and dark desires,
two sides of the same coin,
rooted in attachments ~
let’s with silence rejoin.
Invert polarity
by going in, within,
in thought rested stillness,
simply by letting go,
entwining with oneness.
Invert polarity,
by ceasing to resist,
making our heart porous,
receptive to God’s love,
felt as a bliss torus.

Omnipresent space, alive and aglow
This feeble form we encase is but dust
Invert polarity in stillness slow
In parity with void, feel form combust
Ego thought spirals, cover soul with rust
Yet cleansed once patterns of old we let go
Sans fears we vaporise, gaining God’s trust
Omnipresent space, alive and aglow
Flowing thus, in the boat that love does row
Love and light divine, transmutes body crust
God’s the source that does aliveness endow
This feeble form we encase is but dust
Oh weary hermit, God-connect’s a must
In resonance with love, gently seeds sow
False falls away - envy, anger and lust
Invert polarity in stillness slow
Abiding in stillness, feel our soul grow
Manifest within, magnetic bliss thrust
Into each node of form, does thus burrow
In parity with void, feel form combust
When with pulse of love, we choose to adjust
We embrace those, who ego deemed a foe
All then enabled, as was just discussed
God in-dwells our form, deep truth we now know
Omnipresent space

Invert vision, enter stillness
Rest narrow ego view
All souls one; recognise oneness
Time’s now to fissures sew
Love alone is real
Exuding bliss appeal
God’s magic that does heal
End division
Invert vision

Invert unhappiness,
Sadness enters stealthily
In my bitter heart.
It plans to stay there.
All around are dying leaves.
It is the last of the Fall.
Soon my heart is entering winter,
Icicles forbid warmth,
Isolation all round.
And I feel the chill and loneliness.
Ideal strategy
Increase happiness
Can I invoke my best memories?
Perhaps its dementia that is my downfall.

for Beth
These cloudless nights, the sky becomes a wheel
where suns revolve around an axle star ...
Look there, and choose. Decide which moon is yours.
Sink Lethe-ward, held only by a heel.
Advantage. Disadvantage. Who can tell?
To see is not to know, but you can feel
the tug sometimes—the gravity, the shell
as lustrous as damp pearl. You sink, you reel
toward some draining revelation. Air—
too thin to grasp, to breath. Such pressure. Gasp.
The stars invert, electric, everywhere.
And so we fall in spirals through night’s fissure—
two beings—pale, intent to fall forever
around each other—fumbling at love’s tether ...
now separate, now distant, now together.

Disfirgured flesh burns blood covered corpses black.
Undisguised enemy penetrates a mass killing attack.
Terrorized millinum pushing forth the diverted Holy War.
Hatred consumes all peace, opening up hell's locked door.
Creating choas, violent anarchy throughout the lands of earth.
Devoured harbors run rampant, with war at hands birth.
Nation of devastation, Invasion on annihilation.
Incarnation of abomination,
Incineration of creation.
Nowhere to hide, not even an escape into the mind.
Overwhelming pain force, unending death we find.
Extinction of humans, self indulging in ways of murder.
Intented destruction delivered, as we take mother nature and invert her.
Cities collasped, buring humanity forever down below.
Counntry fields raging fire, flames eridicate and grow.
Apocalytic doom, mass structures fall to dust.
Blood stained concrete, mountains full of rust.
Grey skies raining on, as they paint piles of ruin red.
Almost a complete massarce, billions are now dead.
Dedicated to kill each other, until no here remains.
Will goodness rule, or once again have evil in it's veins.

Oppugnant and invert,
are the faces of consciousness,
so systematically permuted,
are the intergalactic fences.
When talking to nature,
walking the trails of great explorers,
while taking a troll around,
and submerging in those dances.
Distinct is the face of nature,
For the man, machine and transients,
A play it is, of the heavenly pieces,
of perfect music, what are the chances?
The musings of nature, so calm, quiet, divine,
An art is it all about, a collection of strange instances.
