Strange things happen in politics
We cannot trust the polls
Life has its own dirty tricks
We can play divers roles
This is not business as usual
Always fight to save one's soul.
Things are upended in politics
Ignore the belligerent critiques
Everything happens in a season
For an un-intelligible reason
Nobody can predict the results
Of an election filled with insults.
Politics in many countries are very dirty
We all can see why. Politics are slushy
Voters lie. They mislead the pollsters
Who behave like palm readers
Like inexperienced magicians
So they can foul the naïve audience.
Things are pell-mell in politics
Life has its own yucky tricks
Everything occurs for an obscure reason
Under the lights of an unusual horizon
No anchors can predict the results
Of an election filled with assaults.

The apartment leaks footsteps,
it’s hard to avoid their featherweight padding.
Fabric and pith teach
walls how to speak;
fragmented recordings
that always threaten to utter
something intelligible.
Ears question,
closed eyes grope for answers.
They abide --- the indwellers,
they nightly rearrange,
whatever you thought was yours
as you daydream of being real.

The apartment leaks footsteps.
Ghosts avoid their featherlight padding.
They dwell in the fabric and pith,
teaching the walls to speak;
fragmented recordings
always threatening to utter
something intelligible.
Who are they, what are they?
Such questions
only arise under closed eyes.
They abide
they arrange and restore
whatever you thought was yours
as you dream of being real.

I scratch symbols out of a matted beard.
Fingertips as smooth as wave-worn pebbles
rattle on an invisible shoreline,
the sound is a kind of speech
a language that only spume and spray understand.
Seven days a week I listen;
rarely does the water translate
any intelligible meaning.
Nevertheless images rise
like dead half-eaten fish.
I pick at the bones and wish
for more impossible things.

Without mind and body, nowhere are you.
Without thought and action you’re not you.
The end of an existence ~
Becomes the mark of a resurgence
Mind and body are loaded with emotions
Unattached and unaffected are the soul’s notions
The soul is indissoluble and never melts
It finds its stay in another form at somewhere else
Life and death are cyclical and inevitable
Your thoughts and actions only make you intelligible.

Cursed be the poem I cannot understand,
Cursed be the poet whose words flee like a swarm
All poems should be intelligible, even without a scan
I have no time into passable grammar to transform.
Nor do I enjoy reading with thesaurus in my hand
I like poems which make my aching heart warm,
I don’t mind a poem that is ardently partisan
I don’t even mind a poem that doesn’t conform.
An exceptional poem is usually one that is planned,
A poem that is structured in a recognizable form,
Don’t care for poems which put down woman or man
And enjoy most a story, one the poet might perform.
I like those poems which make me think, “I can!”
From the soul of the poet, they are clearly formed.

A sudden shift in human beings
Not intelligible for animals.
Started gaping at masters’ masks
And noticed them frequently washing their hands.
All were confined to houses
Fluorescent nights and empty roads.
In the dark silence of eerie,
It was like a dumb city.
A stray dog’s plight,
Moved here and there to quench its appetite.
Bins laughed dryly at the beast,
Bequeathed a fist from my feast.

Upon the yellow soul of love, I quietly wept
Beneath the hand of fate,
wreathed with fancies without a spirit;
and I knew all and all about it.
Yet nothing questioned about it
Bathing reposefully in gentle torture,
Not a man nor an intelligible creature,
Captivated in this vessel like a body in nature
In four legged form that resembled bed
Long ago ,in this world, I never slept ,
Yet I reckoned death sometimes descended,
No doubt to conquer my chest,
And those times was better if not the best,
There I relaxed as emptiness permit.
Withdrawn to what I heard,
As my soul voiced what I felt,
Those are cursed know love not,
Yet those love not, they know not they are cursed,
And those, who love, are doomed to pain,
Those in pain of love know not they are blessed,
Though you know love not, I always murmured,
'cause my love is worthy to be remembered,
your love to me ceremoniously in wilted heart I kept.

MELANIE DEPARTED
Melanie departed. His habits cured her of moon-shine and bambi-eyes. The huge door slammed so tight and her deep footprints in the mud that night made it intelligible to even him that she never would return. This crystal clear taunt was haunting. A spectral of fear hung like a teardrop chandelier, ready to loose a torrent of vacuous time….tick tick tick
tHe raFTers dark and eerIE

and the O-cean of his stomach drops

at him, smiling so vaingl-O-riously
he faints
as he revives
he opens up his eyes
a green sheet with holes for eyes, speaks
“b..o..o”
he loses his booze
runs from that O-pen space
the chains they r U m B l e
the apparition gives it straight,
“your d...e...a...d fool”

Here everybody drains the swamp
The chunks of toxic glitter
And brazen meat
Intelligible only to the daunted fool
Who filled it so
Pour the acid wash
Of peace and indulgence
To cleanse the slop o’ plenty
Time for mixes and fixes
That clear paths meant
For hot-air balloon rides
The kind that tussle deep in minds
Your liquid child
Who gulps, swallows and bears
The scorekeeper’s duties
Flits to the sounds of no one
The barracks are full this morning
Everyone spent from their rustic tasks
And yet for each
An adventure conducted
A melee for the me, the you
Which song was meant for
Nature, well-planted
Well-colored and ready to play
Nurture, whipped and spun
By the gunslinger’s steady hand
Brought together by
The collective spirit
Lurking in each room
Strewn, lathered across
Each chaise lounge
Splashing, soaking
In the wet, cool debris
Healthy debris
Doggy bags supplied
To bring home
The leftovers
Eager to be consumed.

A Crooked cuffed commitment won't be my contentment
Time will tell truth
Proof it's in the put-in
Please no cardiac arrest in my thoughts
Brainwashed influence of the masses
seasoned leaves fallen, hearts lost and fall in apart
will never break my heart as a whole unified with my tax bracket .
Now how tragic
in order to be above the new order
just number 24 slam dunk on em like magic
As u develop your plot
I develop my system of thoughts
Create an intelligible system better the the system that's taught
Anticipating every action that is morally naught

Got me utilizing every ability with edict

Distant babble, a shout, an egg beater,
What does the clock say?
More noise, a dream dancing just beyond memory’s reach,
Where are my glasses?
6:45, no, 8:54
I found them on the sill.
Down one, then two floors,
The babble becomes intelligible.
Mom’s answering emails
Bob plays Toy Crush
I see Zac reading
Despite the lack of hush
Lydea and Becca make us pancakes,
No, it’s muffins that they make.
What kind is still in question
Because the batter isn’t done.
Violet yells at random people,
But she is only four.
She throws a yellow tape measure,
It skitters across the floor.
Haylee’s still asleep
How, I do not know.
But in her sleep she misses
What is going on below.
Dad is at the temple
Diligently serving God
He wants his family all to know
That his devotion is still strong.
Saturdays and family
Are pretty much the best.
Except for when my mom says
“Now clean up your huge mess.”
Still I wouldn’t trade them for the world
Though into it I’m being hurled
And when I think of imminent leaving
My heart in two is slowly cleaving
But it’s time to go
So they should know,
I’ll keep them close to me.
