A Little Aid
A sudden shift in human beings
Not intelligible for animals.
Started gaping at masters’ masks
And noticed them frequently washing their hands.
All were confined to houses
Fluorescent nights and empty roads.
In the dark silence of eerie,
It was like a dumb city.
A stray dog’s plight,
Moved here and there to quench its appetite.
Bins laughed dryly at the beast,
Bequeathed a fist from my feast.
