Title 1

"The forest is my loyal friend A Delphic shrine to me." ... by Ralph Waldo Emerson

The written word bears roots abound
Hail favored mist of hallowed ground
Announced breathtaking full-filled air
Spreads out enjoyment summons fair
Forgiving trailed Earth's crowning Star
Forest startup's reserves stretched far

Healthy hoards and wholesome intakes
Fresh novel minds elsewhere, retakes
Obsessed consumed florists stationed
Lives styled out stretched reawakened
Seedlings advanced Heavens promised
Groundbreaking achievements calmest

Cob-web silk thread eight-legged shooters
Tethered roots edged equaled footers
Floods 'neath grounds raise the gigantic
Psalmist summoned lessened frantic
Misplacements sequenced adjustments
Cause coursed through major monuments

Misfortune causeway lengthens aches
Stressed strung-out unmeasured outtakes
Commons traversed rights owned presence
Neighbors challenged core quintessence
Claimed righteousness labors bear fruits
Attributes are well-served ... grassroots.

I Am Sorry

I am sorry
like the days and nights of our lives
those having to witness
human hunger, discrimination,
injustice and oppression.

I am sorry
like all the rivers of the world
those giving lifesaving water
intakes our poison.

I am sorry
like the sky, wind, forests, and the mountains
they help us breathe, but in return,
we are choking them.

I am sorry
like all the other living things on earth
and in the seas
for their service to mankind
they receive betrayal and extinction.

I am sorry
like all our holy scriptures
we stain their page after page of peace
with the blood of our violence.

I am sorry
like the earth and the heavens
whose greatest human race
failed to fly yet a true flag of peace
for all the nations of the world.

Serendipity

From the era of troglodyte
to the evolved world of civilization.
The closer the life void of neophyte,
the farther apart should we be to condemnation.

Why is it that reverse is the case
as we race our intelligence quotient in haste
to daze the ignorance at the base
by God’s grace to evolve the world we now harnessed?

Every solved problem generates another.
Chaos – Coast to coast and border to border.
Problem upon problem is all we ponder.
Phagocyte of harum-sacrum acts pervade world’s three-quarter.

Carbon monoxide from cars contaminates ozone.
Human becomes prey for guns at war zone.
Preserved intakes cause carcinogenic issues.
Tears stirred by civilization could not be held in paper-tissues.

Serendipity in recycled severity
that characterizes the civility in gruesome tenacity
is a fruitless creativity in its best ability
to form vicinity with advanced social amenities.

Valueless is the invention that kills the purpose for which it was created.
I do not say we should stop being creative but be upgraded
in direction where bereaved is ceased to be the result we derived
from invention meant to ensure a better life.

My Kryptonite

Sweet tooth is the sweet truth of mine.
And my kryptonite! Any time, day, or night.
I know, this is wrong, not right.
  May be termed as vice!
But to me perfect and nice.

Sweet attachment inherited from my father
Transmitted to all siblings: Sister and brother.
I hold disciplined persona with controlled life- style
   Showing my exact profile.
Yet can’t restrain myself from sweet dish
   Always to relish.

   In any party or feast
I eat little from main course
   letting sufficient space for desserts
to satisfy greedy sweet taste buds
  though inviting health hazards.

In spite of sugar problem, I feel helpless
   but to indulge sweet intakes:
     My kryptonite
     through day and night.

?
Ahhh!
Shhh!
lower case letters small intakes
breath across the heaven
lightening and storms
“whispers”
slowly moving rushing tree leaves
just what does this mean
lightening flashings rushingly leaves blowing
cat's meowing, wiggling worms
while in the womb a baby cries
“whisper”
Ahhh!
Lower case letters small intakes
breath across the heaven
lightening and storms
whispers to me
ya, heard

Premium MemberWhat I Believe

Sports are to exhibit
Man’s invincible spirit.
When in the field,
No point to yield.
Let others not settle
Fight with all mettle.
Treat him as opponent in the ground,
Off the line, feel him a bosom friend.
All cannot win,
Losing makes you learn.
Let mind gets released from fury
Be contented with the victory.
Don’t be jealous,
Share the moments of rejoice.
Forget the mistakes,
Go forward with intakes.

Void Is To Be Avoided

Void is to be avoided

Evaporating from the presence
glancing at the future ones
all the while
being sucked into those clumsy,
past moments of blessed intrusions
and your sleazy, dark serenades.
Lost in mosaic of bursts into laughter times
Consumed in sharing yourself,
in the dripping infusion caprice intakes
that you hang on to,
All the while being devoured by a voice
calling you,
stripped out of your physique
burned out and obsolete,
blown breathed and exhaled
ashes to ashes.
And as a banner to the memes of Nemesis,
hanging on floating discrepancies
which tuned and refined
to be a melodic voice
of spirited herbs,
faultily reduced memoirs
of a frozen window scenery
regrets in repression
illuminating our very own
time indigestion.

The Author and the Body

Mind and spirit stream from your face like waterfalls.
The shore is captured by your embrace.
Not only do you have the streams and lakes, but the many wonders of breath intakes.
Awesome is your name and mighty are your ways.
Your heart is true and pure like the dew when I wake.
The gentle eyes that shower love never fail because they were created above. With the strongest hands no waves could stand.
The waters part at HIS command. Many don't believe.
They say it's untrue, but I guess they have never felt love from you.
I hope they do see one day. Your awesomeness, your mercy, your grace.
With your love even in the rain I see your face.
Constantly reminding me that their is a special place.
Not even a hurricane couldn't keep you away.
Even in silence there is your voice like mist.
Soft and subtle like a first kiss.

Placing Bets

PLACING BETS

restless impatient
mistakes
cold regrets of new
intakes
it takes one night too
long
placing bets high and
strong

holding wild cards too
close
wrecks those we love
most

shut up sit down first class let down

dark velvet midnight
talker
filthy clay grey alley
stalker
burning flames fast fuel
pace
day late ultimate
disgrace

shut up sit down first class let down

getting ready as rains fall
heavy
let it fall
fall
fall
once again
unsteady
placing bets
no regrets

Wheel of Fortune

desire, destiny, future, games, journey, life, men,

©Wheels of Fortune

Monumental acts are traumatized to stillness
Breathe intakes become gasps of disbelief
Speech cripples to a moment’s pondering
Whether to bring upon laughter, guilt or tears
When ‘understanding’ becomes a path
Time records a lifetime of questioning
To what progresses in maturing men’s minds deliver
And of how many stretches ‘lie’ to those testaments!

We are ready and only human when ‘termed’ to task-find
When that mighty hand-spin directs and advises the player
This adventure ‘life-saga’ of choice to fortune begins
Only stops at why, where , when and what holds for us
There is in one’s future’s fate for one turn at the wheel
One can wait, step forward, step back from a chance
It is all a game this wheel of fortune!

Scatterbrain Misdeeds

corruption, discrimination, feelings, judgement, nonsense, poets, spoken word,

ScatterBrain/ Misdeeds! ©

From my scrambled mind brews quagmires of twaddle---
I try to assimilate wisdom with lyrics….
My mouth slags ‘lost’ for proficient words ---
And fall short when none come to note!

But so many vulnerable targets lay in ear shot---
'Truths' indiscriminately slung, do injure when worded….
Only an ‘embarrassment’ is to be my reward if done ….
Endless intakes of ‘mouthed’ disbelief become outtakes---
And are ‘rooted’ for ‘non-favours’ to testimonials given…?
I step back and think ‘thrice’ before I let my ‘wits'....
Blow and pass out ‘slurred’ scatterbrained thought!

Cherry-Pits and Foggy Air

anxiety, care, corruption, creation, destiny, environment, rainforest,

CHERRY-PITS AND FOGGY AIR©

Miseries mount on high
If only I had that again
Too little too late too much
Life’s no bowl of cherries
And the rain fell hard today!

Skies sheathed in dust and smog
Pollutes the once green terrain below
The ‘fresh’ air demotes to shallower breaths
Intakes ‘tanked’ to partings of out rage

The taste of ‘bottled’ flavoured water rises
The ‘breaths’ of air when bottled will increase
And next it will be one costly ‘purification’ deed
For those left and known to mankind.

Searching From Within

Chant for me in words deliver
Reflections of the soul -- untwists
Released for the face in the mirror
Life seems not made of simple gist
One continues unrelenting
In quest of the everlasting
Yet, man may make many mistakes
Forgiveness’ bosom intakes
And the heart swells with elation
Acknowledgement of great patience
Grace grants feats of jubilation
Where the face was once so intense
The colors of love are now lent
Of an everlasting moment

Sinner

I know I have done many a sin...
But I do regret from within !
I'm a man of trivial matter,I swear~
Like minute particles in the air !
I'm a bundle of follies & grave mistakes...
A witness of life's woeful intakes...
A little drop in the ocean of pain...
As tiny like a paltry grain...!
I may have boasted a thousand times...
I'm this...I'm that...in glory & rhymes...
But what am I,o yeah,in reality...
An effigy of frailty & fragility...
A small substance immaterial....
A thing that,haply,belongs to hell...
& I acknowledge I have done many a sin...
In my unconscious quest for the coffin....!!

Dream Drifter

A Hush falls upon the night,
As conjurations take full flight,

Sashaying through the misty dew
My thoughts drift towards you

Silently asleep lips lightly apart
Rhythmic intakes keeping time with your heart

A sigh, a gasp, a frown,
What could thy dreams be as the rain thunders down?

A smile in the darkness, a tug upon the sheets,
Covering your face as the coldness nibbles at your feet,

Eyes flicker for a moment then the moment is gone,
Soon the spell of the moon shall be broken by chant of a new dawn.
