MAY OUR WATER FOREVER BREAK AND FLOW
As like the water, we were created;
In the breaking of the water we came—
And it is said that we did not come here
To be sitting or standing around for nothing:-
Indeed, we are here like the waters of rivers;
Like waters of oceans and seas—flowing to be;
And like the waters, we must ever be about flowing—
Flowing to ever be free from oppressive inequities:-
Strong flowing waters can burst damming dams,
And frozen ice melts in warm flowing liberating water;
And although slow deep streaming water evaporates,
Does it not eventually fall back down on oppressive ground?
Let us forever run and flow in physical strength;
Let us forever run and flow in mental awareness;
Let us forever run and flow in spiritual uplifting;
Let us forever run and flow in undying faith:-
God has baptized us in the water of His divine love,
Graciously dipping our heads in His divine wisdom,
Guiding us towards His shores of divine liberation,
That we may forever flow in His gracious deliverance:-

'Small inequities magnified by intervening vapors'
...... Lydia Davis
Ah learning how to walk again
Triumphant statues
Erectus victorious
while
Cicadas whine as children die
in Calmouk
Camels give milk distilled to
dizzying confusion
Headlights approach
"crumble ye tyrants --
may there be nothing
in your way"
Eyes glaze as centuries quicken
chants
Echoed by the Anunnaki
Travelers from Ethiopian art
As Sumerian Scholars
Scream from ancient tablets
lost
In the land of Shinar

O for where ever there is lasting hope, true love
also abides in Jesus Christ,
for without lasting hope and Jesus Christ's true love,
where would all of His
created people be? We could not even cope, or have
any lasting hope.
We could not love if Jesus Christ first failed to grant
us all of His never ending
Love. Towards all of us while we were yet sinners
perishing in our own sins and
endless inequities! How we would lost through out
all of the rest of eternity!
We are able to love Jesus Christ
Only because he first loved us and
He gave himself, what more could he
Give? O How he loved both you and
O he also loved me!
L is for the wonderful love he
shows us,
O is for he loves every one of us.
V is for the victory that he won for use
E is for the never ending graced he
freely bestows upon all of us!

In a world where the land question hangs,
A plight unseen by the oblivious eye,
Lies the essence of fairness, as it clangs,
Echoes of justice, as time passes by.
For land holds power, both concrete and vast,
It shapes the destiny of those who dwell,
A struggle unfolds, present and past,
A battle fought through corridors as well.
Some claim the soil as their birthright divine,
While others yearn for a piece of their own,
Inequities persist, an ancient sign,
As hearts cry out, their voices set to moan.
But let us seek a just and common ground,
Where dreams of home can finally be found.

You are my first love
my eternal Father and husband
whose love for me is as endless
the depths of the blue holes
and will never fade from me
into the trade winds
You are my first love
my eternal provider and comforter
whose presence I find my joy and delight
and the supplier
of all my heart's desires
whose lips are seasoned with grace
You are my first love
my eternal lover and king
always wooing me into your arms
the only occupant
of the throne in my heart
unwilling to settle for
being the footstool
You are my first love
my eternal protector and healer
who is the restorer
of my strength
the house of refuge
from my enemies
and the lifeguard from
my sea of inequities

A woman is a blessing to this world
By Michelle Morris
16/07/2020
A woman is a blessing
To this world -
She gives life;
Raises children,
And is bold in her
Determination
To provide,
To survive,
And her children
To guide...
For she is strong,
Generous and kind;
Loving and faithful
To all mankind,
Despite the inequities
That exist to this day...
She remains loyal
To humanity
And continues to pray...
For life to be better,
For the next generation;
For the earth to heal;
For wiser nations;
For a future of goodness
And generosity -
A future for all to thrive
Eternally...

is there …
any flesh as tender as
moonlight?
are there dreams that dance as lightly,
as those beams upon
the nascent skin of youth?
I held them, once
they trembled in my palm like wild wonder
and spilled to the real world
with a hope, gilded -
a garland of inspiration and desire
laid at the feet of destiny
and worn like a crown in silence …
such bitter irony -
I taste bloom on my tongue
it is as rare and sweet as springtime -
the petals, as soft as evening
but all that meets my
gaze is withered and worn
the mettle of my marrow,
weary …
pray,
how does a man avail himself of a
spirit as bounding as sprites
when his matter has
moved beyond the autumn?
please …
I beg you, dearly
tell me May will come again
say to me that this circle, Life
spins on-and-on
and those passions that still stir within
will find their proper bearing
not waste like
laurels thrown upon the tide …
please speak hope to me
of treasures to turn
inequities to put asunder
and hearts to break achingly …
in rapture
for I can accept ANYthing
from you …
but pity
even …
a lie.

If you are in an abusive relationship, please try to walk away and live. You deserve a chance to thrive; to find joy and happiness. Remember that no one deserves to be abused. Please take care and stay safe.
Domestic silence
By Michelle Morris

Domestic silence
Silences all of us
It stifles tears and
Strangles hearts
Domestic violence
Pushes boundaries
Brutality inflicted
For ego and power
It allows bruises
And broken bones
It allows shame
To have a home
It encourages indignities
To its victims
It perpetuates inequities
In relationships
It makes men
Into beasts
It makes women
Feel uneasy
No living being
Should suffer abuse
No one deserves
Trauma as a path
No one should fear
Loved ones' wrath
No one should live
In constant anguish
Don't let the silence
Kill your soul
Because the silence
Is evil's cloak
Speak up now
Before it's too late
Walk out the door
Instead of a body bag
Domestic silence
Is a global scourge
It kills our souls
And kills our world

I see the inequities
and the disdainful disparities
I see your struggles
and the testy tussles
I see your falls
and the slow crawls
I see your steady climb
through all the slimy grime
I see your perseverance
through all the encumbrances
I see your calm
through the storms
I'm omnipresent
I'm omnipotent
I'm omniscient
I'm everywhere
I'm all-powerful
I'm all-knowing
I see, so have no fear
my faithful servant, I am here
I've been preparing you,
so remain steadfast and get
ready for anew

The Cape
Superheroes,
moms, dads, and those that we love,
and we can not see... are flawed.
They try hard to hide, their inequities...
in order to give us the illusion
of safety, and security,
in a world that is unsafe,
and very insecure.
Red capes like the movies,
blue capes like the marines,
the color has little to do with the job.
It is a career,
that a parent signs up for,
without knowing
there is no escape clause at all,
no rip cord to pull,
no final five-gallon tank of gas...
to fill back up,
no...
and only the hard ground
to land upon,
when things fail.
Sitting there, or laying there,
on the soil, dirt, dust... of our lives.
We wonder if there was more
we could have done,
or even more, we could do.
But we are here, and then gone.
We do not live forever in this life,
it is the next... heaven,
that things are as they should be.
Here, things are exactly as they are
and we need to know;
the rules, we must follow
the lines, we must not cross...
before teaching time is over,
and we are grown,
left to the whim of the wind.

Most times I look at life through a positive lens, yet every now and again,
evil emerges where I sense its dark forces impose their oppressive
demands in the midst of calm...

Yesterday, the future gave humanity the key
Today, inequities threaten the human destiny
Tomorrow, the past foresaw inhumane agony

Jesus Christ shall restore that which was lost and was take
Away from me. He shall restore my inspirational gift of
Poetry! Which He has freely bestowed upon me!
Jesus Christ shall never leave nor forsake me!
No He shall never abandon me!
Thus all of my poetry is being copied by heavenly angels!
These heavenly recording angels are God's very own
Heavenly scribes! Jesus Christ will wipe all of my
Tear drops from my eyes! No more tears of heart ache
Shall I cry! When I am in my heavenly promise land!
All of my heart breaks and all of my pain shall be
Forever taken far far far away from me! All of
My sins and all of my inequities shall be forever
Taken far far far away from me! Never to be
Remembered any more!
And I shall dwell in the House of the Lord
Forever! He shall be my God and I will be
His beloved and faithful daughter and child!
What wonderful blessings are in store for me!
All because of the Son of Man from Galilee!
Love in Christ Jesus!

you are afraid that seeming soft makes you weak, so you over compensate with anger and agression in order to appear fierce, so that you can feel as though you are strong, you feel that you cannot feel strong unless you have some sort of power over another, but i shall tell you, this is another kind of weakness, true strength is found in dignity and integrity, of simply being yourself, open and honest and without self deciet, a simple statement of who you are without any excuse or explanation, that is the true courage, to face yourself,to conquer your own inequities not those of others, to withstand the fire of self and emerge unburned, this is true strength, true courage, and true freedom from the shackles of self and others, in the freedom of being able to love yourself and others, without cause, without justification and without reason, this is the true freedom and joy of life.

Just beneath the surface
We feel the unease
There's a moment of awareness; it's cognitive dissonance
It hard to acknowledge a personal disease
So we scream loudly with our first emotional impulse
We quickly shame the opinions that don't coincide
It's easier to focus on the “privileged”
Rather than discerning the truth about the realities in life
Guilt becomes an overwhelming emotion
Revealing our thoughts about the past
We’re troubled by the thought of inequities
All the while worshiping the wealth we've amassed
When the dust begins to settle
And the emotional fog begins to rise
We see the damage done
We rationalize
We make a desperate attempt to change the topic
By using an ambiguous point of view
However, linguistics can be a problem
When trying to ignore the bitter truth
So when the emotions catch fire
Take a deep breath, stop, and look around
Lets come together and provide a solution
There's no doubt were lost, but there's hope we can be found

As I reflect upon this day,
Where a viral presence has
Effected millions, give or take.
My mind shifts to racial inequities,
And how that's been a
Huge cultural mistake.
Positioning face-to-face, and
Seeing eye-to-eye, doesn't require
Complicity, before going nose-to-nose.
Just some basic respect and
Understanding, where another's
Heritage and hope only grows.
