Clouds hang low on stained
footpaths slick with moss clinging
as vines of green. He
waits in rain for a quiet
rendezvous, hardly breathing.

Life In Secret

Buy land in secret
Build the house in secret
Then do the house warming party 
With publicity 
Date in secret
Propose in private 
Then marry in front of a crowd
Let your haters only see your reality 
Never your vision
Or you will have division.

Helping Someone In Secret

Help someone secretly
Is the best for good
Good people have good news
Good people will have
Good reward, peace in life.

who I am in secret

          have two personalities and both are me
the one I show to the outside world
   is a happy girl, who smiles with her perfect teeth ... hair
confident, kind, gentle, tranquil and serene
            have put the past way behind
      but my secret self is in raw turmoil
                        and I wear a dark cloak of grief
dwelling in old memories for comfort

          love the secret garden I have created
beyond the outside madness that makes me who I am
    I tend my garden of flowers and plants
it is where writing poetry brings me great peace 
          oh, adore the deep still silence
    and know that I can stay or go out
                         for long walks in nature with swaying trees
and my books murmur and whisper waiting

           I need both sides of me to dwell with me
the beautiful girl and the forlorn girl
    love each one for different reasons 
I need both to balance my Zen and Heavenly devotion
           the secret me loves all my junk
      all those things, those treasures collected
                            the dishes, the photos, jewelry, the things
I touch my art supplies, paints, brushes with love

In Secret

It is a sad time
through silent tears 
my heart broken
from this day we part 
my cheeks pale 
your kiss is cold 
sorrow just begins 

the morning dew clings to my brow 
my heart shattered 
all our vows distorted 
oh this feeling of emptiness 
as I call out your name 

I shudder as I hear 
your name called by another 
although I've known you longer 
our trist remains hidden 
a secret among friends 
all alone I grieve for you 
my heart holding onto memories 

when years pass by 
if we shall ever meet again 
what do I say? 
How should I greet you that day? 
but with my silent tears

The Snails Met In Secret

The snails met in secret
For their parents were political
Arguing about everything
That never matters to anyone at the moment of death

Submarines In Secret

Moonless are the nights on oceans
Waves dance in total tidal darkness
Positions must be kept by stars secure
For submarines gone missing 
Gone drifting into foreign seas
Hiding there unseen in secret
No shores in sight, no shores at sea 
On moonless nights so frightening
As something sinks, a mystery appears
As nothing there to see

Giving In Secret

Whenever you make a donation
rather than seeking an ovation
     let your gift be in secret.
     For while it's unseen yet
in heaven you'll receive approbation.

Secret words and secret places
Moonlight dinners with all the graces
Soft summer walks in the eventide
Time together to just abide

Smooth satin sheets with a light touch
Saying I love you so very much
Sitting together in each other’s arms
Anticipating your touch and golden charms.

Woven In Secret

It was a tangled web they spun
 their silken threads hid the truth
 Weaving dark clouds to cover the sun
 Preying on the innocence of her youth

It was a secret kept too long
 They fed the fire with their lies
 And muted the beauty of her song
 The truth would surely shock and surprise

 Then one day someone spilled the beans;
 She found out she was an adopted child...
 Finally the light was seen
 The truth, untamed, was running wild
 
She could not hold back the tears
 It came pouring out after all those years.

In Secret

I perceive her as fire, not too smokey,
But glossed enough to burn my desire 
Of illicit pleasure to fill empty pathways
Isolated by glass, guarded by egg shells
Only the waves know this rapture,
Only the stars hear loud groans,moans.

Although the warmth or heat is rented,
My own misery or despair erased
As her thighs waxes on mine, slow
Then fast in the restless grind of hours;
We take little drops of wine
Before sunlight begins to rise over sheets
Crumbled by dusky lust, maybe an ounce of love--
She, draped in mannequin's thin wrap
Is delicate and tough with a heart
Unavailable for constant ardor---how could
Her past release all those silent wails?
And while I button her second-hand dress
Our next rendezvous is done, again--again
The comfort of a lifeless marriage
Allayed by the harlot of my nights.

Can Any Hide Himself In Secret Places That I Shall Not See Him

Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? ( Jeremiah 23 v.24)

 God is always everywhere
 seeing everything and everyone
 yet man loves rejecting this fact
 living with no regard to the holy one

 God has declared He's all seeing
 no thing can stop His looking
 for man's every deed will be judged
 the final day before the eternal king

 So there's no hiding place
 for God sees us all
 all we think and do
 no matter how thick our wall

 So none can hide themselves
 in any secret place
 the awesome eternal God
 sees through all our face

Dwelleth In Secret Place-- Under the Shadow of Almighty

Tis be… I must Run like the Wind
Until the pain subsides
Run.. Run.. Run
Unto the Shadow of Almighty
Within His... Arms opened Wide
Of Magnificent  Love

For His Comforting Grace
Knowing… tis Glorious Place
As I shall Dwelleth in Secret place
Shielded from what tis be…
Then I shall Live again.. Fly Free

Higher… Higher.. as He Lifts me up
With His undying Love 
Over flowing cup…. 
For with Him I know

There tis No need to be in fear
For tis He would not harm me..
Tis No need of tears 
This I can Trust & Believe

For He shall Never leave
Nor fabricate..  lies
For In Him tis Truth
Purity... Security

His Love that is Real
Unconditional
As He Loves me for me
No matter how I am

Behold Jesus Love

Heart In Secret (Saraband Sonnet (Italian Quatrains))

Can words be mine in pen and ink 
if they can write without my hand
the odes, like strangers, make me think.

For love I cannot understand
but in poetry I can find
the words that say what's on my mind
by carving names into the sand.

As tears now flow beneath the stars,
will my love see the bright moonlight
and will the night always leave scars.

My dreams I hide from wisdom's sight,
the heart in secret cannot show
how you remind my pen to flow --
yet it's for you alone I write.

We Married In Secret

One by one,
They push
This dagger
Through their souls

Montague and Capulet
Star-crossed lovers

So deeply in love
We cross the stars
