A Guy With A Golden

A guy with a Golden, a Teddy, a Pearl
A Tucker, a Marley, a Bailey, an Earl
A Samson, a Buddy, a buddy for life
Sometimes there’s a Golden instead of a wife!

A Todd or a Taylor, a Radar, a Max
A Molly, an Archie, a Bella, a Jax
A Kayla, a Sophie, a Luna, a Rod
A Golden believer would not find that odd

A guy with a Golden, no matter the name
Retrievers are always and simply the same
A bundle of loving, all fluffed up in fur
No matter the pronoun, a him or a her

A Monte, a Hudson, a Cooper, a Bear
A Chance or a Boomer, a Patch or a Claire
A Chrissy, a Lucky, so lucky to know
A Golden Retriever, the best in my show

Premium MemberThree-timing girl

Stars were twinkling each time that I kissed you
at sundry bars, where I was unable to resist you.
And you kept saying in the world's sweetest voice,
"Hope you know, you're definitely one of three boys
whom tonight I would love to say 'Yes' for a tryst to."

Premium MemberWhy Not Be Friends

Thirsty Donkey went to the flowing stream,
Shocked to find a tiger, about to scream.
"We are friends, both need a drink",
Tiger said "calm down and think,
Not being enemies, let's be a team".

Long Distance Affair

You're far in my hand
But very close to my heart
Yet, ready to bond.

Premium MemberMystique of a Tale

Disney take on the Fox and the Hound
Where two pups form a bond so profound.
Naive to concede
The strife of their breed,
Delicate friendship is doomed to fail.

With hunting dogs don’t let your guard down,
Don’t buy into the fox and the hound.
Poignant puppy eyes
Are traps in disguise,
With snarled teeth onto red bushy tail.

With foxy folks don’t let your guard down,
Don’t buy into the fox and the hound.
Conniving and sly,
Contriving a lie,
Fox fights fierce for its life, tooth and nail.

Disney bond of the Fox and the Hound
In a real world yet to be found.
Big Mama’s advice -
Owl symbol of wise -
Leave it to the mystique of tall tale.

Premium MemberTake Us To Your Leader

suddenly aliens appeared
and asked me to take them to our leader
I took them home…
…we drank, we smoked, we played music
they left and an incredible friendship was formed
instead of interstellar war
if I had taken them to our leader

Premium MemberBad Influences

Bike to ramp and from ramp to tree
In just a second you can feel the hit
Hanging midair is a time of glee
Adrenaline rush with teeth a’grit

Grasping his precious jewels
The tens unit clung
Crank that cruel switch to eleven so
His unborn kids will know he was stung

A blindfolded face, cigarette tastes,
Tighty-whities, and a Big Mac burger,
A boxing glove hits a fragile place
So he screamed that his meat was murdered

Hot sauce dares with a barren gut
The bottle beckons, its all for good fun
Capsaicin will rain hell upon his you know what
Chug the demon’s drizzle and the damage is done

Office chair races down a favorite hill
Speeding down through memory lane
On my way towards a hefty dentist bill but
Jackassery is always worth the pain

Rock fights in mud is a childish leisure
With a soundtrack of chuckles and thuds
Growing up simple and hollow is a pleasure
When your friends are a bundle of duds

he sits on the roof
of the building opposite
I sit on the sofa
glimpsed from the window;
him with his feathers
me with my skin;
themes tune
and blossom falls
from trees
like plates don't fall
out of the cupboard
and we could go on
like that for hours
such
was the relationship
we had

she didn't have a face like thunder
it was more overcast
like when you don't know
whether to put your washing
out on the line

Premium MemberMy Poor Overnight Guests

I am a little bit of a trickster
It has to be said
A wee bit mischievous
Somewhat bonkers in the head

Friends came to stay the night
So l played a cheeky joke
Showed them to their room
Explained all for when they woke

I mentioned if they needed the loo
In the middle of the night
No need to stumble in the dark
We do this and its works a delight

I bent down and pulled out from under their bed
An vintage enamel handled pee-pot….full of wee
Initial awkward horror followed by hysterical laughter
As it was a pee pot full of apple juice you see!

Premium MemberJames Fuchsia Bachelor Pad

James did not invite a lot of guests
they had to know him better than the rest
his mother had decorated his apartment nest
in hot pinks and fuchsia, a friendship test

he had protested when he had first seen his lair
I am the expert, his mother said, to be quite fair
she also wanted to give overeager girlfriends a scare
staying over meant that they probably did really care

Premium MemberI Like To Think

I like to think that love
is Universal – even little
green men, on boggy worlds
having such fond capacity

like to think that stars
share brilliance affectionately,
giving an extra beam, here and there,
to a fellow where a twinkle lagging

like to think, that vagabond comets,
trade heartfelt sonnets in the passing

like to think that you would love me
forever...even if I wasn't so
poetically cute and clever:)

Moonlit Escapade Invitation

Roses are red, and violets are blue,
I've been meaning to ask, would you like to come through?
We could go for a walk, or grab a drink or two,
And see where the night takes us, just me and you.

I promise an evening of excitement and fun,
Maybe we'll share a kiss if our hearts beat as one.
So what do you say, will you be my date,
For a night of adventure and maybe even fate?

Sea

Samuel saw her screaming for help in the sea.
Esta failed to save her friend  who was drowning
And some people could make fun of the victims.

Two brave men by  the seashore  jumped Into the sea
to rescue them, as they were in the harzardous
zone  of  sharks and some dangerous reptiles.
They succeeded to bring  them to the  seaside
and managed to organize some hot coffee
and tea for them in few minutes.

Esta and her friend thanked Samuel and his friend
for assisting them when some other people wished
their death into clear blue water.
Their friendships turned into love after some weeks.
Samuel came to love Esta so much and they decided
to live togather as wife and husband.

So their  parents met to discuss about the dowry.
Everything was concluded according to their culture
and traditions,  then they married traditionally.
so their dream of living together fulfilled.
A year later , they got a male child and named
him" Remembrance."
To express how he got a wife of his choice
through assisting some desperate women in the Sea.

Premium MemberA Poet Has a Heart

There were some poets, they lived in gnarled trees.

Creating short comments lists, rapidly as can be.

In that way, they could comment, lickety-split!

Mundane acronyms, displaying only an empty wit?

You will find these poets next to each poetic creation.

No time for sentences, as if pure damnation?

Or how about one word adjectives from first grade?

So I ceased writing and chose to sit in the shade!

I honestly felt to be as car in the Daytona 500.

Just write to win every contest under the moon.

Hoping poets at my feet, one day might swoon!

A poem is a chance, to deeply connect with another .

Artists who deeply respect the poetry in another!
