A Poet Has a Heart

There were some poets, they lived in gnarled trees. Creating short comments lists, rapidly as can be. In that way, they could comment, lickety-split! Mundane acronyms, displaying only an empty wit? You will find these poets next to each poetic creation. No time for sentences, as if pure damnation? Or how about one word adjectives from first grade? So I ceased writing and chose to sit in the shade! I honestly felt to be as car in the Daytona 500. Just write to win every contest under the moon. Hoping poets at my feet, one day might swoon! A poem is a chance, to deeply connect with another . Artists who deeply respect the poetry in another! 3/29/2023

The contests might help to prompt ideas or bring us to the next level if we study. Each poet of course wants to be better than the next…that is a downfall…we need to build each other up…even if we need to walk away for a few minutes, take a breath. Unfortunately some do not love but I for one can love first and above my piddle poem. I give you respect, dear Pangie! God bless you!

Yes’m true. And the Internet is flowing with all kinds of prompts on it. There are bright people here who have life experieces, pets, family.death. To me, life it’s no prompts but an ego trip. I think of any great poet…no way can you convince me, they only wrote for trophies! I see it as a fun game , yes. I will soup mail you what I mean but people here have vast experiences. If a poet is alive, they can write about anything.Contets a few times a year!? I understand. Daily? A pull to our vanity. But this is only my POV.I am vastly outnumbered here, it does not matter, but telling my opinion matters. So does every one else’s. No way are we the same..Pangie.xo
