Oh, How Silly!

Although my poems are not so numerous
I try to make them a little humerous
I'm certainly not a bard
but I do try very hard
to mix in a bit of the ridiculous

Premium Member HUMEROUS PATTER belloc

HILLAIRE BELLOC
With nonsense verse oh so light
ever humerous* & never trite

Baggage

“Baggage”

Baggage collected
scooped up in the arms
of strange angels

the unexpected
expected
some time

will deliver
the poetic
message

reasons
in humerous
rhyme

saints arrive
barefoot
no glass slippers

Love
Joy
Be

without
baggage
all in good time

love is not Archie Bunker ~let his hatred stay in Hitler's bunker

when circumstances appear cruel in life you need not be cruel with them

a dodged serve, the ball is now long gone~a pond rife with many lost balls

a lie will soar throughout the land before truth wakes and gets out of bed

controlling ones diverticuli ~should control shouting from poop shoot

attention seekers turn your gaze outward to life’s welcoming bounty

no physical traits shared with your harem~save face so not to scare ’em

a friend can't be betrayed if they were never a friend~non-existance

liars can't believe in their own existence~how can they believe mine?

given every clue~if you don’t know me by now it's yours to undue

pure love’s nature cannot take pleasure in other’s sorrows pain and sin

poets with grand gushing font~sage with a pen or idiot savant?

Premium Member Cautious Man

There once was a cautious weird man named Berm
He was mortally so afraid of germ
No girl did he ever kiss
Saying I won’t get sick miss
Pressed her lips with fingers, thought there’s no harm.

Victim In Disguise

A pictures worth a thousand words. Is that why you wont verbalize your sins?
You cant hide it anymore, your as sinister as it gets.
Your a twisted evil entity, not a thing has changed.
Look at how you retained me, with your ragged edged chains.
You would think Im your victim, as you toy with my sane life.
Injected with your venom, I still smile every night.
But on the brink of losing it, you bare a wicked smile.
Its humerous to you, how I could last all this while.
Little do you know, I cant take much more of this.
Im your victim, your pawn, freedom is all that I miss.
I dont know how Ive lasted this long, but you'll never know this.
Im a victim of your pain, your a victim of my lies.
And I will always remain, a victim in disguise

Heron

My favorite bird is a Heron.
Soaring above the sky.
It flies like a kite,
Its neck like a serpant in motion.
The heron is a puppet on stilts.
Humerous Heron.
