Not a lot of ocelots
are seen in the day
they prefer the evening
or the night
if an ocelot you're hot to spot
altho' it's quite a long shot
an ocelot you want to sight
you may even hit the jackpot
if you do it right
all you've really got to do
is switch off the light

I just knew that I'd better not stop
Caressing her from bottom to top
It was getting real hot
When I hit the right spot
But by then I was too pooped to pop
Prequel to "Johnny on the Spot"

Is there anywhere cool?
Everywhere there is heat
A summer of 'Dog Days'
Cool air is what I seek
Not this mirage of haze.
Is there anywhere cool?
People wilt, sweat runs free
Even the shade is hot
Our home we cannot flee
Suffering in hot spot.
Is there anywhere cool?
All things subject to heat
Everything breaking down
Temperance obsolete
In perspiration drown.
Is there anywhere cool?
Yes, just wait for winter
The thought might make you frown
When summer is interred
And safety underground.
My thoughts are with all brave firefighters. A heartfelt thank you....

Jeepers it is hot in here
I just burned my derriere
But I don't mind at all because
I am being cooked with love
Tenderly simmered in a pot
My skin fell off--I am so hot
I feel naked but so free
Juiciness all around me
In a bath of smokey steam
I'll soon be a yummy dream
Here come more friends to hang out
Seasoning poured out of a spout
Flavors seeping all around
Now here comes a swishing sound
Being twirled with a big spoon
In somebody's belly soon
I will be all nice and warm
Until the whole pot is gone
Of a great tomato sauce
Over spaghetti I am tossed

Cold
The bottle sweats.
Frail
The ice inside cracks.
Thick
The water runs
Down my throat
Quenching my thirst
So cold,
It hurts.
