Hiatus

Sometimes it can be difficult to understand how what you did effects what you will do.
But once you understand that truth, you will understand how to move foward.

Premium MemberAre you a bad guy ?

Fourty six years since our lives collided,
on sand swept paths, mostly sunny, some blighted.
I was taking a hiatus from men.
You came to rent a room in my heart.
It wasn't open back then.
A struggling, single mom with a young son.
There wasn't much space for any other one.
I worked evenings and some times slept in.
You showed up

Rungs of Hope

Life keeps going to find his purpose
he strolls across verdant plains and trudges up the hills
sometimes dejection follows rejection and distress
darkness engulfs
and something spooky emerges
looming large to form something horrid…
a hideous hunchbacked hiatus.
Life slows down…wary of the
impending hindrances for his progress
and there is a temporary pause.

This hideous hiatus distracts him, traps his mind,

Premium MemberTruth In the Hiatus

Today, the sun shone brightly over our shores.
Peering over the forest and meeting the cores
We share fundamental truths across the waterways.
across the grasslands, then onto the Himalayas.

Past somatic feelings are cognitively preserved.
Spirit is the natural extension of cognition.
Spirit and mind foresee the body, the spirit swerved.
Together, the mind and body create resolution.

The universe's sound is

After a Huge Hiatus

What a way to appear on status
After such a huge hiatus
Pulchritudinous grace thine
Has inspired poetics mine
Tall beautiful belle flaunting
The pose simply enchanting
The smile emitting the aura
Of my favourite Lord Arora
Ethnicity being your logo
Proud I’m as thy amigo
How dark hair run down
From the cliff of your crown
It resembles the cascade cool
Making me a poet powerful..!

A wide

Suicide

-SUICIDE-

Deep banality circles my heart drum
Rotten stem hosting termites march
Vaccum only tears could fill
Am lost in my destiny

Caged in chains of depression
Yet my mind skips , running riot
Flipping boundaries and lanes
For the love of dear

Here tears picks it path
Along my hilly face
Playing down my heated chest
Poverty strikes it stroke
Despair takes it toll

Here the rope swings
Intestines

Hiatus

I held my breath as long as I could
Until my lungs began to burn
I forgot my Tibetan embodiments
And gave breathing again, a turn

O, I held my breath and waited for you
From October, till Winter’s depth
Yet you could not say
On any day
That your heart held any breadth

For me or my breathlessness or my cares
Or my happy

Premium MemberMy Heart Went On Hiatus

I cannot write and have no reason why.
It has been nine days since I penned one.
I cannot just stare on my computer and look
at the blinking cursor telling me to start typing.

Time is ticking and now I remember
when my heart went on hiatus, not forever
but for a long time, sixteen long years.
Not thinking of what

Hiatus

I had a dream to dissolve my body
Into harmony and song.
Not to be appraised course or consequence,
But the ecstasy for which I long.

I’d seen sparks pique, however, now they taunt
Ere each breath, each glare guts me.
I’ve been left to wonder, will passion pass,
Or will destiny cage the free?

Physical facades that guzzled my breath—
I

HIATUS

            Engagement over.
Then wedding date to get fixed.
            and Covid -outbreak.

Premium MemberHiatus Haven

Against pressures of daily demands
my physique yields to debilitating energy...
…thus, I admit need for invigoration
to relax with serenity’s bliss, nestling in God’s strength
cuddled by His wondrous pampering presence
while rejuvenated through reverberating Gospel music
filling my haven’s retreat-room
securing me complete rest toward functionality's brace.

Amidst rigors of ministerial endeavours
my spirit grows weary in striving well...
…hence,

Afternoon Hiatus

Counting footsteps at dapper dawn’s increased insistence
As flurries of minutes in perpetual movement binds hands
To a spinning roulette of prioritized importance
Motivating motives of revelations demand admittance
And attention’s effervescent energy
Like the ordered notes in a music box rebellion
That winds down when solitary sol begins to slide
Past the apex of day’s light that tumbles
Toward

Premium MemberHorizon of Hiatus

With prime promise your life’s journey had begun,
on the placid plateau of time you’d blaze a furrow.
In gleaming dawn sky you’d rise like the golden sun,
in the night sky like a flashing meteor you’d glow.

The sweeping winds of change blew the glitter away,
sucked you shattered within the whirlpool of agony.
