Horizon of Hiatus
With prime promise your life’s journey had begun,
on the placid plateau of time you’d blaze a furrow.
In gleaming dawn sky you’d rise like the golden sun,
in the night sky like a flashing meteor you’d glow.
The sweeping winds of change blew the glitter away,
sucked you shattered within the whirlpool of agony.
The heaving sea of tear drowned you in deep dismay,
as you confronted life crumbling in the debris of irony.
Longing for being serenely suffused with divine quietus,
you’ll rise with the blessed soul from the ruins of strife,
travel on the rainbow trail beyond the horizon of hiatus,
in the realm of eternal bliss hear again the symphony of life.
