Health Care Providers Need Hiatus

Handling hoards of patient everyday Each depressed ,fearing death Asking same questions Colleagues dying, patients dying Death lurking in the corner Not sure of own fate A hectic schedule since more than a year Physically tired, mentally exhausted It is not easy still they continue to serve Full time PPE, mask on Handling patients with patience Working selflessly, sincerely without hiatus Think about them. Their physical and emotional state. Be empathic Follow social distancing, Wear mask, sanitize hands Don't go out until required If all take precautions covid will end! Then happily we can take a hiatus A much needed vacation! 7th February 2021 Written for Hiatus Contest Sponsored by Chantelle Anne Cooke Placed 1st

Very timely subject. I can't imagine what they must be going through with this pandemic. Life is still a long way from being as we once knew it. Thanks for the visit to my page. Reads like a very good contender for the contest to me. Sara
