Premium MemberHappy Birthday To A Special Friend

You and I have been friends for many moons
You and I have played together countless afternoons
Not to mention many mornings and many nights.

Since today is your birthday, I want to send you: kaleidoscopic lights
Multiple dancing rainbows of heaven, exotic flowers
And warm hugs and I’ll blow fresh new kisses from afar to your ears.

I called you my special darling for numerous reasons
I hoped our friendship would flourish through all seasons
Even though I am now disappointed, down and sad
And though we’re no longer committed to each other; I’m not mad.

No matter what, today is a special and beautiful day
For you and me. I’m very happy for you
In my heart, you will always have a niche, a stay
You will forever remain deep in my spleen and my soul.

ITS BEEN FIFTEEN YEARS WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL

It's been fifteen years since I last saw your face
I guess trying to see you in my dreams has been one big chase
I have cried so many tears
And all I ask from you is a whisper in my ear
Every day I look at your bed and just see a space
Between all my tears I still see your beautiful face
I have so many memories of you every passing day
Today is our birthday, and I guess it will be just another sad day
Sometimes I wish we could just skip this day
On this day sometimes I don't know how to act
Or what to say
When people say happy birthday
Inside I know everything will eventually be okay
So today I will blow out the candles for you and me
Till we meet again
I know there will always be pain
And someday I will meet you again

Happy Birthday, Mom - Part Xi

You were born on August the 2nd of 1948.
Your death was sad and hard to contemplate.
Today would've been your birthday but you didn't survive.
If you hadn't died, today you would've turned seventy-five.

Your death was a very painful thing that I was forced to experience.
It was hard to accept your demise because it ended your existence.
You gave money to the homeless because you loved to give.
You were the greatest mother on the planet while you lived.

It was so sad to learn that you were going to die.
And it was very painful when I had to say goodbye.
I wanted you to survive but I didn't get my way.
You were my mom and I wish you a happy birthday.

HE’S THE DEAREST
    ALEX NELSON

He’s the dearest
The nearest
The man with
The miles
Who took
All the hard
Times
And left us
With smiles

He’s the dearest
Not nearest
For the miles
A long run
Yet when
You pick
Up the phone
The fun’s
Just begun!

He’s the clearest
My dearest
My Dad with
No cares
Just carpet
And some slippers
With black coffee
Sitting there

He’s the always
No hangups
With hands
Always tough
With get up and
Take the time
When my enough
Is ENough!

He’s been there
Not did that
Yet the length
Is a cord
Like pick
Me up
With slow down
AN did you see
“That's a Ford!”

He’s a long mile
A great smile
Yet the brush
Is not new
Like way back
With all heart's
Attached
The missed
Just a few

Like my dad
Not really sad
And happy
All the while
Like see ya soon
And not so
For a 1000 is
The miles

So line them up
The candle light
With no tests
Just the rest
Like see ya
There and
You are rare
And A
Dad
Simple Best

He 's dearer
And clearer
Not near
Yet alway fine
Like up
Here and
Down there
For a son with
A dad that is
Mine

He's the dearest

One Night

It was a cold night,
I didn’t want to fight.
All through the day.
I was afraid to say
That I wasn’t feeling good.
Looking at all the food
made me feel sick.
Only if I knew a magic trick!
Yes, it was a birthday treat
But I just didn’t want to eat.
My friends forced me to
Somehow I felt like I had the flu
I couldn’t wait any longer, so
I ran all the way home, stubbing my toe
To the lamp post, yet glad
For I had finally escaped from being sad
As I wasn’t in the party mood
I wanted to get a good nap and some food
Guess happiness is different for all of us
What some might enjoy, makes others throw a fuss:(

Premium MemberHappy Birthday To Me

It's hard to say
How I came to this day

The chance of my birth's selection
Tending to fall close to elections

Four years ago, on my birthday, I lost some hope
Because she lost, although winning more votes

But now the process of democracy revived my faith
The best gift I could ask this November eighth

The me in my twenties would not have been fair
To this middle aged woman with extra weight and gray hair

She would have judged me a sad cliche
Hot tea and online poetry - old maid's play

Cooking shows and documentaries - what a bore!
She thought more about unrequited love's score

She despised football as a brutal, blood stained tower
Now I see it as chess with muscle, a ballet of power

It's true, I have now what I didn't before
A ring, a house, a family to care for

A long way from the single who burned TV dinners
A lot less cynical (though I wouldn't mind being thinner)

So to all you 'old maids' of sonnet and haiku
Welcome me! I'm one of you!

Happy Birthday, Godson

A Godfather, often vague
Says Belated HBD, Craig
Not because you matter less
But because I was careless

The first birthday without your Dad
Made perhaps a day,sad
God has a plan for sure
To keep our hearts and minds pure

With all my love,right
To my only God child a wish, bright
A day full of cheer and laughter
To celebrate a whole four days after

Happy 50th

Well how do you feel, now that you're over the hill
you know that you're now well past your prime
happy birthday to you, I wish you fifty more too
but remember, fifty years is quite a long time.
You're feeling as old as dirt, every body part hurts
only the hairs in your ears and nose grow
you think to yourself that you're as old as an elf
and you were forty just ten years ago.
Well don't feel so bad, there's no reason to be sad
it's not the end of the world, so don't pout
please for goodness sake, enjoy your cake
and make sure to blow all fifty candles yout.
You shouldn't have fear because fifty is here
just relax and make sure you have fun
enjoy life instead of acting half dead
besides, this time next year, you'll be 51.
So happy fiftieth to you, I hope I reach fifty too
and remember, it could always be worse
be as happy as you can, that you drive your own new sedan
instead of being a passenger, in the back of a hearse.

Happy Birthday To a Beautiful Lady

"Happy birthday to a beautiful lady"

"A happy birthday to a beautiful lady.
our eyes have never met but i'm sure
your smile is as lovely as you.
sending a piece of my heart that also
has a rose of friendship i included to.
Generations to come will hear stories.
some may not be in text books to find.
memories will never be forgotten as
they will stay in everyone's mind.
A special lady like yourself must have
  seen differences others never will.
some had to be happy and some sad.
as God creates everything we see and
                      we feel.
So happy "100 years" being beautiful
                 inside and out.
sharing your life of planted memories
will always be what your hearts about"

Happy Birthday, Mom - Part V

You were a mother who was both special and divine.
If you hadn't died, today you would've turned sixty-nine.
I would give anything if you were still here.
Everybody loved you because you were a dear.

You died over four years ago and it was the worst thing I've ever been through.
When they said you'd die, I felt helpless because there was nothing I could do.
The day before you died, "I Love You" were the three words that I said.
When I saw you lying motionless, it was sad because I knew you were dead.

The doctors couldn't save you after you became ill.
It took two years for this heart of mine to start to heal.
I still miss you and I have something to say.
I'll always love you Mom, Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday Silent One

June 15, 2016 8:40 pm in Michigan, USA

I had a SUPER busy day with family and FINALLY had time to write you a birthday sentiment!

Happy birthday to a special dear friend,
a lighthearted man whom I respect,
on your inspiration I must commend,
nothing less than the best I do expect.

My buddy through good times and bad,
gratitude for your loyalty and fun,
uplifting sentiments when I am sad,
to my sweet buddy, Silent One!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SILENT ONE!!!

MAY YOUR DAY BE FILLED WITH GRATITUDE AND JOY :)

Lots of love, Lullloooo

Premium MemberHappy Birthday Son

We'd have had a party today
But we never got the chance to play
No bottles shaken, no first steps taken
No diapers to throw away

We never wished on a star
Or climbed on monkey bars
No knee boo boos, no trips to the zoo
No wagon rides or plastic cars

It would have been fun to play catch in the yard
Teach you poker or stupid tricks with cards
Your first girlfriend, what fun that would've been
Your first date in the family car

I could've taught you a few manly jokes
But not around your mom or other folks
I'd have built you a pool, watched you graduate high school
Maybe ski behind the family boat

You'd have graduated college by now
Be a doctor or lawyer somehow
Whatever made you happy, would've made me happy
Today we'd be saying wow

You would've been thirty today
But God took you away
If one wish would come true
Just to say I love you
And son Happy Thirtieth Birthday

Happy birthday Dad

Ever since you left us all in tears,
our hearts ached in grief for years.

Sweet memories of times together,
brush gently as subtle touch of feather !

Longing to touch you and embrace,
while feeling your presence at every place.

Your smiling face in my eyes I embellish,
but wonder why in a blink you vanish?

That in my each cell you are very much alive,
It was too late to realise and end up strife.

Remember the days of joy, None of them so sad,
Today I am wishing you happy birthday dear Dad!
