Premium MemberHappy Birthday!

I miss my girl; I miss my wife
on this, the best day of her life,
with no more pain and no more strife
dancing at the feet of her Lord.

I am told “Take time to grieve”.
I know it’s there; I’m not naive.
But when you believe what I believe,
that just seems untoward.

Shall I play a dirge and mope?
Am I in denial? Nope!
Just dance with her in joy and hope;
receive the gift you can’t afford.

Premium Member*** BLESSED at 40 ***

*** BLESSED at 40 *** Forty years of living and I am still loving it. Thank you Father God, You have blessed my life. As I walked to whereever, pedal a cycle, drive a car ride a small boat or a big ship, fly with a plane, tango with the times, surf with the waves of joys and tears, conquer every struggle. Battle each fear, pray for every wish, I never stop dreaming I on becoming each year... ©Olive Eloisa Fraser Written: August 13,2026

Premium MemberThen I'll Know It's Time to Go

Someday I shall be happy to say

               Everything in life prepared me

for this ~ my very last day

Premium MemberBlessings come in all shapes

There’s a point we reach in our life when we realize
the unequivocal truth that ‘less is more’.

We then understand the freedom
of less attachments, less commitments, less obligations,
and less of all that is not truly important to us.

That moment is truly liberating.
It's when we actually begin to follow our heart
and dismiss all that is trivial to us.

Sometimes the sun on the nape of our neck
is all we need to be perfectly happy.

Premium MemberMend The Fences

Mend the fences they will say, give forgiveness as you pray. Is there a smile in the suns bright ray? Maybe I do not want a pretty flower bouquet. I think you should be on your way, fly out of my life like a blue jay. I do not want to mend this fence today, you bring me clouds of gray. I want only a happy day, make it fast with no delay

Premium MemberSimple Being

Simple being is what I worth the most
Any lofty ideals I won’t justify
I ditch principles and credos of those
Who are chosen to rule, born to lie
The existence I own makes enough
Foundation for the rest that I need
Like perceiving music, arts, feeling love
Taking care of the garden and weed
Hamlet’s question seems idle to me
Hope I don’t sound stiff or too proud
I’m your happy sad Jack - just to be
Is the most comfy thing I have found.

Premium MemberLongevity- Or Not

Longevity- a path we all long for,
and if life's great, we certainly want more.
If staying good means “healthy to the core,”
we pray we'll greet the fullest life in store.

Eat healthfully, and exercise galore-
and, just for fun, do workouts on the floor.
Never complain when backs and legs feel sore.
Skip elevators- climb those stairs, senor!

Longevity can be a costly chore
and seems perhaps a trade-off sort of war;
to do things right at times becomes a bore,
and makes us wonder if it's uncalled-for.

Perhaps, less time to gain more years that soar?
Instead, things we love best, need to explore?
Enjoy that ice cream, wine, or petit four.
Relax, sit down- tough exercise ignore!

For happy lives, sometimes we must implore
satisfaction, which rates a higher score!

Premium MemberMingle

A song in the heart does not need words, love’s a mingle of lyrics unheard. A melody to last one's life through, that’s unique and meant for only two. Quote poets own. When two hearts mingle love comes to be The start of a romantic journey Caring and sharing, new life begun A future joyfully being spun. Not knowing which way the wind will blow Enjoying dancing betwixt the flow Building a nest for a family If the Lords grace doth honour their plea. Maybe so, maybe not, whatever Wishing their love to last forever To mingle contentedly always Till reaching the end of happy days. All know the magic of one’s first kiss The super awesome mingle of bliss. * * *
