My Hale

Hazel brown hair underneath the sun,
Radiating the gold from her soul
As I set my heart not to run
Towards an enviable, worthy goal.

Her name rhymed with hale,
Like her spirit and her smile
That thaws my heart's cold veil,
And gives life meaning with her guile.

Even if years had gone by,
Even if life had other things for me,
I'll never forget my reasons why...
I let you go and set you free.

In-Hale

In One Breath

We Enter This World
Not Knowing Our Why
Or The Reason
We Were To Be Chosen

Our Existance Is Ruled
By The Supremo
In Which No Man Today
Has Yet Seen

                    the soles embrace the sun
                    a hail curtain drops

In the Depths of Life - Izhan Hale

In the depths on deep blue sea
Zest of desire to be free
Hoping you would return to see
All that tick tock played with me
Never thought id loose what was always mine
Hearing the clouds of misery roar
And hoping one day the sun will shine
Lying to myself a little more
Everything will just be fine

Hale and Hearty

R-emain hale and hearty,
U-nderneath the blue sky;
T-uesday July twenty-fifth,
C-louds are white up high.
H-ale and hearty lady
E-xerts effort in endeavor;
L-et not her fervor fail,
L-et not her feet fall in
E-rror.

S-tay hale and hearty,
A-s you are in good health;
L-ife does not only need
V-ictory, fame, and wealth.
A-im to be safe and sound, exercise causes glory;
N-ever ignore the wellness, for you to be hale and hearty.

AFLIGHT IN THE HALE-BOB
The puzzle comes apart deep in the sky;
calls nothing that is concrete to the mind;
as far as we can tell and meets the eye
the reason for the tail's not ours to find.

We stand confused, and only guess at why
the wonder of it all has stilled our voice
did David Korish ever really die?
and is it all worked out, with little choice?

Mount Carmel but a coming of an age
the catostrophic ending of mistake,
what hope is there to ever quell the rage
appeassing what is wrong, for honors sake?

      Is there a sign that's ever flown the sky
       or is it just a dream where-in we die?

As the noose was slipped 'round Nathan Hale's neck he uttered this exclamation:

   "I regret that I have but one life to give for my nation!"

But to his executioner he whispered an aside and had this to say:

   "Between you and me, I'd just as soon be fishin' on Nantuckett Bay!"
