Unlike a long and sunny summer day,
Children are not prone to come out and play.
We don't hear the birds singing and having their say.
Crops have been harvested and growers have done their best.
Farmlands are reclining and machinery has been put to rest.
Unless there's a storm, things are programmed to release their stress.
The chill is on, the thrills are subdued, and much of nature is hibernating.
Except for evergreens, trees and vegetation seem to be grieving. Since
The wake of Fall, fowls and butterflies have been leaving. Winds, ice, snow,
and broken power lines are sending many to the slow lane because Winter has
spoken and released her troops of pain. No, it's no secret that Winter, like
every season, compels all creatures both mild and wild to change.

Rubenesque pumpkin blossoms and blowers
Come in the night to entice the best growers
Playing music the future jack-o-lanterns here.
Calling each other endearments like Pookie and Dear.
The jacks sit on their vines, and grow the best they can.
They want to please Doris, Denise and Dibbly Dan.
Pumpkin blossoms and blowers are found to be super sealed.
The last one I saw was playing a flute in an Iowa field.

Cycle of life
Ring of length in a circuit
Circle of life
Wing of strength in a conduit
Flow of life vibrates and pricks
Electricity you can feel in needles and sticks
A game of a life-winning prize
A frame displayed in a live, lifting size
Cycle of life in you that charges and chime
Tracks of moving rings that hinges, not grime
Girdle of life that showers and embrace
Dwindling up and down like growers of God's grace
Circling the tree of life is your power
Power of cyclone that defines the tower
Tower of faith, hope and light
Light coruscant in the heat of the night
Cycle of life that grows in you
Rhythm in a wheel, spinning in loops and never halt in you

Tell me when do roses bloom
Is it by noon to the clock of June
Tell me why do roses bloom
For the Ambiance of wondering souls
The colorful beauty they possess
Any mortal can assume
Tell me how do roses bloom
They bloom from rose bushes
I suppose with flair and perfumed air
Rose growers plant seeds that
Grow into bushes and
There you have a rose bud show
Tell me where do roses bloom
They bloom wildly in fields of
Violet blades of grass and in
Nurseries a necessary atmosphere
They grow in precious gardens

Rains a lot where I live TODAY.
Moved here some nineteen weeks AGO.
This farm land of beans, corn, and HAY,
Through which the Mississippi FLOWS.
HOSPITABLE.
REALITY.
Moved from where there's a little RAIN.
Yes, nineteen weeks ago it WAS.
The growers there keep the world SANE.
Low rain falls for the good it DOES.*
The many DROUGHTS;
And so few DOUBTS.

Tiny seed with embryo in toe
awaits the sower to decipher
all it's wants and needs,
to grow captive, in plots and pots.
Nature knows the needs of seeds off by heart.
Growers learn the code of what and when
by rote declension recitals of scripts,
and wasteful trial and error plantings.
Such failed trials and tribulations prove
costly to seeds left to rot, freeze-dry and die
when sown in cold, parched and barren,
foreign lands.

I look at last week’s bluebells in their vase some spent; some strong still' pictures of Memories shadow my mind haphazardly, along with the conviction of life's validity.
Its quiet outside on the 4th of the 20th 2020 and the worlds vision is altered, people are Talking.
Not for now the adulated pop idols and demi-gods;
There are bursts of sombre news reports,
A rash of adverts seeking to milk the worthy folk,
The frightened people anyone at all!
Also I feel a consensus of concern.
'And yet hope' as the world finds its heroes amidst the carers and quiet workers;
The farmers, the growers of 'vegetables and fruit and hope' for the future is part of what we Make of our today; there is still life; and it’s still valid!

WHEN CHERRY TREES BLOOM
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
when cherry trees bloom, early spring
for pollinators life-saving.
all cherry growers find it great,
sweet cherries they can relate.
for most folk too, have a craving!
cherry picking, gratifying,
tasting very satisfying.
cherry brandy too its great.
when cherry trees bloom.
sweet cherry pie with double cream.
midday break, pickers eat their dream.
their working day now nearly done.
stained red clouds painted by the sun.
when cherry trees bloom.
Blueberries, bananas, apples that fall
Berries and pears, we love them all
Fresh rainwater, summer heat
The part of plants that we can eat
Inside the fruit, contains the seeds
Found on bushes, grown on trees
Tomato plants, of heights will rise
With soil and compost, fertilise
Seeds we scatter, seeds we sow
All around the world they grow
Celebrate at food events
Cities, countries, continents
Supermarkets, stalls be manned
Frozen, dried, fresh or canned
Varied fruits ripen with time
Fresh fruit salad, shall we dine
A complement of any meal
Fruits to blend and fruits to peel
Expectations to surpass
Blended poured into a glass
Garden fruit and fruit in tins
Daily fibre, vitamins
Large vineyards, where growers take
From tiny buds, to blossomed grape
Strawberry smoothie, raspberry jam
Tomato sandwich, cheese and ham
Assembled fruit upon the plate
May Showers
Gaily appear May Showers.
Merrily kissing fallen flowers,
chasing petals of flamboyant,
dancing jubilant, rhythmic vibrant.
Sudden rainfall showing May Showers.
Intermittent, not for prolong hours.
Mesmerizing pleasing petrichor
reminds me a forgotten folk-lore.
Not heavy, but cool gentle May Showers.
New buds, tender leaves, soft grass-growers.
Abrupt unexpected joyful rain
to charm, to enchant and to entertain.
Forget the world and listen to your heart.
No one really cares whether close or apart.
Only you only you can change yourself,
Be the golden novel chosen from old book shelf.
The indiviual created by providence is only you,
Show this to all not in a sense even one could have a clue.
Just ponder over your capabilities,
Strive on your failures taking them as your casualties.
Work till as it gonna lasts forever,
live as today only was the last rain of life shower.
Keep friends close bt enemies closer,
Fight with friends but have sympathy for rival growers.
The day u reach at the top,
Just come back with a next better hope.
Night when you will fall down,
Wake up; smile with the mother earth brown.
Don't teach anyone a way to live life ,
No one actually needs your guide.
Life is as easy as you think,
Have the patience with which you can stand still.
To live in ,heart is the best room,
Dont wait for a bride or a groom.
My heart listens and comprehends me very well,
Then why didn't i try to leave this world of hell.
Amazing beauty, citrus delight, esteemed Florida growers,
Hoping irresistible juices kiss lips make nuances optimal.
Producing quality reared sweet tasting, universally
very wanted, x-tra yum, zestfully.
Vertically they have gone to see the horizon
dividing into two parallel paths of iron and stone
nor to return or to encounter
sometimes, only crease cross
to pass trains and trams with passengers and goods
ever absurd they are;
On both the sides
modern civilization exists
mills, factories, industries, markets and localities are
in high rising skyscrapers, fashionable, colorful buildings
lines after lines vertically, horizontally
and underwardly growers they are;
Here and there wide and long hollow down bridges
over ponds, lakes, channels, rivers even seas
where ply boats, launches all the times,
sometimes through long tunnel
goes through hills, desert and channel
challenging explorers they are;
I have walked for long and long, faced long quarry
only iron and stone all through the journey
no pearls, diamond or ivory,
i have heard fierce, painful crying
but seen no tiger or lion roaring
absurd history makers they are;
I have seen cutting, burning, clearing forests
filling lakes, dishes, rivers,
leveling hills, killing wilds
for paving the paths of iron and stone,
for ever growing silver civilization
innumerable stations setters they are.
