Unexpected Good Day

An Unexpected Good Day

The morning sun rose in brilliant array,
Promising the start of an unexpected day.
Birds sang sweetly in the clear blue sky,
A gentle breeze whispered as clouds drifted by.
With joy in heart and a smile on face,
I stepped outside to embrace the day's grace.
A friend appeared, unplanned and true,
Bringing laughter and warmth like the morning dew.
We wandered together through fields of green,
Sharing stories and dreams, feeling serene.
A hidden café with the richest brew,
Served us delights, both old and new.
The hours flew by in merry chase,
Each moment a treasure we wished to embrace.
The sky turned amber as evening drew near,
Yet the spirit of joy remained ever clear.
Stars emerged to light the night,
An unexpected day, a pure delight.
As moonlight danced upon the sea,
I cherished the gift of serendipity.
Under a blanket of twinkling stars,
I knew this day would forever be ours.

When feel loved

When the world loves you
You heart beats to a musical tune
 You like you whole body
You have engery that soon Take you to the moon
You feel every sunbeam Hit your soul with esteem
Your smile light up the dark
 You frolic in the park
Each bite of your daily meals
Hits a ravishing tongue in the feels
You have a great day In each and every way
You can't not be brought down
You love for your friends and family to come round
You wake up in the morning with a spring in your step
You could be patting your beloved pet
Hugging sends vibes to your soul
You feel young you will never grow old
The way you walk is effortless
The forest is calling you to de-stress
 Your morning coffee is divine
You take a sip of the finest wine
And think about how great it is To truly be alive

Premium MemberA Good Day!

Mondays are both wonderful and hard
It's hard to get the momentum going to
be productive when you have had 2 days
of downtime and a less hectic schedule

But Mondays can be full of hope
Hope for a good day to reconnect
with co-workers and get things
accomplished with a good attitude

They can also be full of stress,
and when things go wrong,
and full of angst because you are
coming off of a low stress weekend

So, I go into Monday with open eyes
but also with the hope of an optimist
that today will be a good day and
I can keep a smile on my face!

Premium MemberIt's a Very Good Day

The sun is shining and your hand’s in mine.
For the first time in days I feel fine.
I hear your laughter and a smile’s on my face
What more can I say?
It’s a very good day!

The sky is clear, there’s no trace of clouds.
We stroll along among a friendly crowd.
We listen to a street musician play.
What more can I say?
It’s a very good day!

We cross the street, my arm ‘round your hips.
I feel happy right down to my fingertips.
We both can feel it, there’s no need to explain.
What more can I say?
It’s a very good day!

The world spins joyfully beneath us.
Birds fly through a brilliant blue.
 	Fragrant breezes swirl around us
And it’s all meant for just me and you.

The sun is shining from high up above.
And I’ve got you, my one and only love.
I feel like dancing, let the music play.
What more can I say?
It’s a very good day!

This is the first good day of the year

This is the first good day of the year.
The sun shines loud through the siren landscape
and no one speaks to me but you.
It's cold,
cold this time around
Everything I need is so far away
I lost it all:
the syntax, the beat
the car wheels spinning on our pothole roads
Oh backstreet melancholy,
I've ever missed anything more
than the sun on the trees and my old rotting heart
But city Septembers--they find a way to break you.
The words drift to the ground from this fifth floor window
and I'm ashamed to admit that
I want to go home
I want to go home but
home left and we went our separate ways
So this city September won't break me.
I will not repent for the dreams or the smoke.
I will not sit by this window forever,
waiting for something to start.

It's a good day to be happy
It's a good day to smile
It's a good day to enjoy life
Make every day worthwhile

It's a good day to be happy
It's a good day to feel free
It's always a good day to take a chance
On life's sweet mysteries

Premium MemberGood Day Sweetest Poet

I know it’s very early and I do apologize to wake you up..
Hello, Pangie ~you go and get French coffee in your golden cup.

For my job is to love you write and have you pen poetry!
Because I am your cat, your very wise muse, so heavenly!

You are not here , heaven forbid, to be a mindless poet at all,
But to touch the heartstrings of mankind, that is your true call!

Now please, put on your kimono of imported, turquoise silk!
I, your furry muse after all, need my morning food and milk!

Premium MemberA Good Day To Die

("Morphogenesis Merit Badge" - MB #37, 2011, original oil)

A Good Day to Die
(for Bill – 07/10/1925-10/14/2023)

Another day dawns
To the recognition
It is both the beginning of
The rest of your life
And as good a day as any
To die.

Before the sun sets today
You, me, us could all
Beat it to it.

And when we set
Where do we go?
Such questions lead to
Unknowable answers.

It’s easy to apply for solace
The analogy of a planet spinning
In orbit around its central star
In the sense of cycles cycling
Into eternity…

But we all know such crude analogies
Miss the mark of reality.
Even the grandest universe
Has an expiration date.

And so it goes,
Each day
A new beginning
Each day
A good day to die
Each day
Just another day to go
Into the mystery.

But no matter what
Whether sooner or later
There is still the chance
To seize the day
Stand tall
Even if
All you can do
Is lay down
And bring a little joy
To this world
And those around

Premium MemberGood Day

Your words coming at me like a dark cloud
Stop thinking so loud
Causing a black stain
In my brain
Blah blah blah is what I hear
That buzzing in my ear
That dark cloud settles around me
Making it hard to see
Bringing me down
Excuse this frown
Throw me a life jacket before I drown
The dark
Lifes little lark
Strengthens its hold
Makes me old
Cold
Lost and found
Seems I'm hell bound
This is my fight
Lost sometimes, is my light
No where to hide
In my soul it does abide
Feel so much
Life and such
Inner strength so hard to find
When life is so unkind
There is no pill
To cure my ill
Lost in rewind
Today tomorrow
A lifetime of fighting this sorrow
Some strength, I may need to borrow
I refuse to bow
Give up, I don't know how
So here I am at last
Cause tomorrow comes so fast
When lost in the past
Searching each day
For a way
To beat another night
Yes, still that fight
Hear my scream
Oh that was only in my dream
So real it did seem
Everyday the same
Am I to blame
Am I really alone
That's what I have been shown
It's all good
Just kinda misunderstood
I may be wrong
My day has been long
As is each new day
Nothing new to say
Good day

Premium MemberGoodnight Good Day- Blessed New Day-

"Having had a blessed New Day
I have had a blessed New Day
I had a blessed New Day this Day in Jesus Name
 Blessed new day
Children let us thank Him
Always
And thank you!
Let us thank the Lord
And Our Father Always
 Blessed new day
Children let us thank Him
 Let the Holy Spirit
Continually teach you
And lead you,
And move you, for Him too!
He will do for you what you couldn’t do Amen!
Children let us thank Him
Always
And thank you
Let us thank the Lord
And Our Father Always
Hallelujah having have had a Blessed new day
Having had a blessed New Day
I have had a blessed New Day
I had a blessed New Day this Day in Jesus Name
Goodnight, Good day, Blessed New Day"

A Good Day To Be Honest

My heart is filled with fears,
My eyes, they are full of tears.
I miss you so much that every part of my body aches.
You will never know for you I kept myself at stake.

I can't stop myself from loving you,
I can't tell myself not to think about you.
Yet you seem so nonchalant about it,
In your life I was such a misfit.

Your words and your actions don't match,
Yet every tear you shed I am ready to catch.
But for you I was never a good match.
You said there are others and I smiled.
Your love made me beguile.

It's so clear for you I never mattered,
Now you are gone and all my dreams are shattered.

I should have known this,
Love never brings bliss.
And here I lie down and cry,
Asking myself why?
And you seem to be so fine,
I mistook you for a diamond, you were just an ordinary stone which shined.

Premium MemberGood Day By Max Burchett

by Maxwell "Max" Sebastian Burchett

I present these lyrics today,
For you to consider if you would,
An idea I propose, to find a way
To designate a day for doing good.

It is about time now
We start finding a way
That leads us somehow
To a brighter day.

Whatever it takes
Now before it is too late,
One little step by each, then a giant leap by all
That might improve the world for one, or all.

These rhymes propose a new holiday.
A new national day, call it what you may,
Perhaps Pay-It-Forward Day.
No, let’s say “Good Day!"

A day recognized as a time to remind,
A new day when all of goodwill,
If they can, if they will,
Do one thing for the good.

For a friend, or
Even for a foe,
For family, or
For a stranger you do not know.

A day set aside
Dedicated to making one small thing better,
Lifting one person higher,
Together, many higher and higher.

An extra, kind gesture unplanned,
Whatever you feel you should,
A kind word, maybe something grand,
An unexpected act of good.

Now is the time.
We do not really know
If we have one day more.
Now is the time for a Good Day!
