as the glowworms
in the stygian night
threw flickers of light
like scattered gems,
when little birdies cuddled under
their mother’s warmth,
while the long whistle of a train
was dying in the distance,
I sensed the indulgent grip
of the hands of Sleep
who took me
to his gilded chamber of dreams!

Like a feather, flaky and light,
Suspended in the air against the golden hue----
With blades of lemon grass beneath, tall and sharp
You burst forth in my mind,
Spilling colors of ecstasy
In the aching heart.
Like a story untold, unwritten, unsung---
You stream a melody of once upon a time.
A glimpse of you, splash liquid delight.
And send thousands of glowworms in the garden of dreams.
No matter where you are, however, you shine,
I still have you, who once was mine.

GLOWWORMS
Glowworms
to glisten, gleam.
Soft warm glow of glowworms.
Fireflies love to fly most in swarms.
Night - charm !

How bewitchingly does the night-time lie...!
Stars, like thousand glowworms glow in a stream
Golden moon shines gorgeous on zeniths high
Times, sweet secrets within, sleepily dream
Stars, like thousand glowworms glow in a stream
Clouds, as though lost their identity, hide
Times, sweet secrets within, sleepily dream
Breeze, gentle, betwixt sleeping buds does slide
Clouds, as though lost their identity, hide
Golden moon shines gorgeous on zeniths high
Breeze, gentle, betwixt sleeping buds does slide
How bewitchingly does the night-time lie...!

Let me not see just the matter around, O Divine Master, let me, rather, glimpse the magic in the material; May this world turn to me a subject of joy. Let me not put a full stop to realities. Rather, let my senses full-bloom and fill with wonder. Let my curiosity grow; adventurous spirit advance; admiration amplify. Let me experience the innocent freedom that leads me to explore the highest and fullest possibility of each and every atom. Let excitement fill my mind as I see and experience the magnificence around. Let this ocean of the endless world be my source of inspiration and sense of sustenance. In my motionless wonder,
cosmos of blossoms
galaxies of glowworms and moths ---
butterfly rainbows

Dense darkness
under the tree
a deluge of your
smile where
appetite seated
in white flowers
Fragrance
reaches out
even here
my face and eyes
mesmerized
look in the mirror
my hands restive
in pursuit for
full moons well-set
on the smooth bed
with just the curves
in front of my eyes
enough to make the
well swell deep down
the sea
This seabed is
a weird stuff
immediately
springs up
sun flowers
and dandelions
seeking sunlight
if not allowed
doesn't hesitate to
plunder the sun
destroying the
churches
moons quiver
feet trembles
iris aflame
looks spread
magnetic waves
in the smile
the inebriated Nile
irresistible
darkness still
prevails there
under the tree
It's a gift to
live with such a
dark corner
which when needed
invites hundreds of
glowworms
Under the green
light
hundreds gondolas
sail on wide eyes

Stars, like glowworms, surround the gibbous moon
Like cold mood of a play, blinks blue lit sky
Dark clouds, like ghostly shadow shows, puff up
Moon moves toward dusky clouds that puff up
A night heron flies across the full moon
Like Hera in black-blue gown, shines the sky
Angels enter, exit in scenic sky
Smokes, as though from Elysium, puff up
Skirting the boots of the silvery moon
Soul is bliss-filled by the charms that puff up
Heart is enchanted by the blue-whale sky
Mind muses on marvelous marble moon

In my quietude not all is quiet -
the glowworms glow and the bush crickets sing,
and by his haunting song does fly and flit
ruru the hoot owl on his silent wing.
At sunup out of my chorus vigil
I see through the bars a big cotton sky,
for all that dawns on the crest of the hill
is a time and place that has passed me by.
And I my walls am inside looking out
where over flight of years on prison row
Orion and Hercules fly about
casting shadows on Paremoremo.
And my dog, he listens and licks my face
in my corner of the world and shut space.

"Keep your eyes open to see the magic of the night"
- by Poet
Deep into the woods, I walked one day
to find flaming fireflies come my way,
Watching them, I felt a trancelike peace,
fulfillment of dreamlike fantasies;
In the shadowy shelter of trees,
I stood enjoying the mellow breeze;
The hazy clouds were rolling onward,
as I 'neath the moon slowly wandered,
Crickets and glowworms began to prance,
silently, I admired with glued glance,
The scenery sure looked surreal,
this night encounter seemed unreal;
Then I heard the nightingale crooning,
o'er imaginary love swooning,
Ethereal, her song pulled me in,
the joy I felt, none can imagine;
Basking in the aura of moonlight,
entranced by the magic of each sight,
I walked back leaving the woods behind,
But this night is engraved in my mind.
