Night Time

How bewitchingly does the night-time lie...!
Stars, like thousand glowworms glow in a stream
Golden moon shines gorgeous on zeniths high
Times, sweet secrets within, sleepily dream

Stars, like thousand glowworms glow in a stream
Clouds, as though lost their identity, hide
Times, sweet secrets within, sleepily dream
Breeze, gentle, betwixt sleeping buds does slide

Clouds, as though lost their identity, hide
Golden moon shines gorgeous on zeniths high
Breeze, gentle, betwixt sleeping buds does slide
How bewitchingly does the night-time lie...!

Christuraj, to say merely that this is a lovely poem would be an understatement! You have made masterful use of vivid descriptions and figurative language to paint this nighttime scene. Janice
