Rams have two horns
on top of their head
the better to butt you
and leave you for dead
which is why you should never
cross a ram ever
unless you’re a giant squid
or a large bull from Madrid

If light is the fastest thing in the universe,
why is darkness already there when light arrives?
After watching Harry and Megan Sussex grub for ever more cash and attention, I’ve decided that they should start a OnlyFans site.
We’re going to a booze-free dance party.
“You don’t have to drink to have fun.” I assure myself, in the bathroom mirror, but somehow the event sounds like a high school dance.
I’ve been reading the Internet - was it really a giant squid that sank the Titanic?
...
Panpsychism Is a scientific theory postulating that consciousness is part of the fabric of the Universe.
On the theological level, why would God (or nature) create the bitter taste of espresso and vivid, azure skies slashed with rainbow sunsets if stimulating consciousness weren’t important?
“Colors, tastes and smells are no more than names,” Galileo declared 400 years ago. “(as perceptions) they reside only in consciousness.”
Does life exist, as sensors, to experience stimuli for the galactic consciousness?

Many things could kill you.
Car wrecks, fall from a roof, electrocution,
starvation, heart attack, brain cancer, Alzheimer’s.
I shall choose something fun to kill me.
Walking the plank, shoot out at the OK corral,
boomerang rebound, King Kong, a cephalopod attack
I dream of watching a giant squid pull me away
With his enormous suction cups,
his tentacles and giant arms making the victory sign.
It is a memorable death, making a terrific obituary story.

Sponge-brained Bobby gulped air
through his underwater respirator.
Alien squid pulsed signaling sentience,
its bulbous head
swelling as it curiously explored
the artificial sea-life before it.
Bobby the deep-diver waved,
made rude inexplicable signs
with his five fingered flippers.
Alien squid
reported the sighting,
but his meeting with the frogman
could not be confirmed,
and so the giant squid populous
kept on believing
that they were the only intelligent life form
in the entire watery universe,
and they were right
on so many fathomless levels.

I often think about Earth's oceans- deep
and taking up three-quarters of its size.
Our continents are islands in the sweep
of water worlds- alive beneath our skies.
Great depths of liquid mystery are they;
home of the largest sea life we have seen,
like whales- or giant squid that hide- away
in deep, dark voids below the surface scene.
Some life within our oceans do defy
the rules of nature that apply on land;
all shapes and sizes- lights that glorify
with bioluminescence- colors grand.
So many unsolved secrets lie within
the darkest depths of this aquatic realm.
Like cosmic space- our oceans are akin
in holding mysteries that overwhelm.
A universe its own, our oceans share
enigmas of strange life formed long ago.
Of many species, surely we're aware;
yet, others far from view, dwell deep below.

God's Majestic and Wide
Breathe in an ocean so vast and so grand where seagulls and seashells sprinkle the sand.
So turquoise blue, majestic and wide, homes for God's creatures at high and low tide.
Like the Humpback Whale who sings a beautiful hymn or a baby sea turtle just learning to swim.
Like a stingray, a lobster, a shiny red cod, or friendly grey dolphins who live in a pod.
The Angel Fish, the Violet Snail, a Giant Squid, seaweed, and kale all need the oceans to breathe and survive, all need the oceans to stay alive.
Thank God for the oceans so vast and so grand, where seagulls and seashells sprinkle the sand.
So turquoise blue, majestic and wide, homes for God's creatures at high and low tide.

It’s our responsibility,
To help the world survive you see,
It’s urgent, because after all,
Someone had to create it all.
Of every leaf on every tree
Reflecting pure symmetricality
Throughout the spring, summer and fall.
Someone had to create it all.
Of flower petals perfectness,
Roses next to zephyranthes,
Tiny mum, and sunflowers tall,
Someone had to create it all.
What of the ebb and flow of tides,
Life to all the creatures inside,
From Giant Squid to fish so small,
Someone had to create it all.
From zebra stripes to leopard spots,
How eagles fly and how frogs hop,
Mountain goats balance - rarely fall,
Someone had to create it all.
So, we need to give thanks each day,
That God designed the world this way,
And promise to put out the call:
Someone had to create it all.

Oh, dear Nessie, how you captivate us
when you rise up within the Loch Ness shores.
You swim and slither just above the surface,
serpentine and solid to many eyes,
yet, still a myth in any reference book.
But what about the Giant Squid?
It too, a myth that started long ago,
seen surfacing above the sea with tentacles
that frightened men to bring back tales
of horror and dismay in what they saw...
Until now. The Giant Squid recently was found
alive and well in deepest depths of the sea.
First, one washed on shore and soon another
filmed on video in its 'prehistoric' splendor.
One myth now put to rest...how many more to solve?
So, Nessie...perhaps your turn soon will come
to authenticate your secret life in old Loch Ness?

The Giant Squid was finally filmed on video in 2012. This leaves real hope for Nessie (The Loch Ness Monster) to some day overcome her mythical status!

To the naked eye all you can see,
is the breakers coming ashore individually,
but as I dive in one of them and start to tread,
my imagination starts to fill me with dread,
Wondering whats lurking out in the ocean,
thinking my eyes spied an underwater dark motion,
could it be a giant octopus or a great white shark,
or maybe a huge sea lion that likes to bark,
Maybe it was a giant squid or gigantic sea turtle,
my throat feeling as dry and tight as a girdle,
then whatever it was felt like it was toying with me,
that's when I swam fast back to shore quite instinctively,
Getting back to the safety of the sandy shore,
I scanned the horizon looking for giant fins and claws,
then thinking all was well as I turned to go,
a pod of dolphins jumped as if in a show.

Pedestals' can be alternated to be giant squid and often a leopard can be seated upon such a throne. Oh such worldwide wisdom of a very smartly dressed frog. In a purple suit. With a black tie and a cap. Clap clap clap then. Applaud the chess game. Silver tongued tiger often dives dramatically and a square can sing a great aria. Arising from the monuments is a delegated fish. Whose patterns are akin to buckets. Wow. Wisdom of a big fat squirrel. Whose pie eating causes waist expansion. Hahahaha xx and a number three in a dress xx hahahaha and hope lots of lollipops join a gym *** it is never wise to seek out a double domestic dome in a bed. With or without beading. *** hahaha. *** antidisestablishmentarianism *** ha. Fishcakes z.

Legends abound from society to society
But Norwegians have one that evokes great anxiety
A mythical sea monster of immense proportions
May be fifty-feet long, or its size has some distortions
With enormous tentacles it’s said to have grabbed sailors
Squeezing and consuming the bodies of Nordic whalers
Is the Kraken truly a product of Norwegian lore?
Perhaps its targeted vessels fell to the ocean floor
“Fish tales” are popular in many seas throughout the world
But the Kraken is a squid and many ships it has hurled
Since the concept originated in Norwegian tales
Giant squid sightings are reported wherever man sails
The Kraken is surely a most intriguing sailors’ yarn
But Norwegians take heed of the tall tales that warn
For none wish to test the near-impossible validity
Of a Nordic legend ripe with vivid morbidity

Undersea exploration comes to me in my dreams
As a fish in the deep I see only faint sunbeams
Enough light there is to reveal a lost continent
I wonder what led to this golden age’s descent
Colorful fish swim among ruins of a pyramid
A former city’s gilded streets, giant squid now float amid
Huge, submerged statues of gods suddenly catch my eye
Just as a fish-tailed, sweet mermaid happens to swim by
Stroking through the water as sea plants flourish below
Unquenchable curiosity continues to grow
Is this Atlantis? Am I on the Bimini Road?
Buildings here have cryptic writings I cannot decode
Schools of many other fish are surrounding me now
Are they wondering too? Or just seeking plankton chow?
When I awake in my bed, the sheets are soaking wet
And my body is writhing in a chilling night sweat
The sights I had seen provoked deep-founded fears
The North Pole is said to shift every ten thousand years
That time is approaching; may I return to the sea?
Let me dwell in the ocean as landlubbers flee
The earth rises and sinks on a regular basis
Only in the ocean will I find my oasis

Hemingway’s famous “Old Man and the Sea”
Simply couldn’t hold a candle to me
I caught Ahab’s great white whale
Did some surfing on his tail
Made him jump through hoops ‘fore I set him free
In Scotland I gave Nessie a big scare
As with my huge net, the beast I did snare
I held on as Nessie tugged
Then set her free as I shrugged
To tell the truth, Nessie hadn’t a prayer
And now I’ve set my sights on the Kraken
Oh yes, I’m more than a fishing bumpkin
And so for Norway I sail
To prove women aren’t frail
This giant squid is simply a munchkin

The journey of me
Your about to read
Migration of we
To rich grounds to feed
Vast waters
Gifted of blue
Humpback and right
My cousins true
In hunger dive
After giant squid
To the darken deep
On our sonar grid
Feasted, fed
Shadows appear
Orca pod
Our calves i fear
We adults encircle
To protect the young
Flick of our tail flukes
Orca's, in wave like flung
Danger over
Migration on track
To my left
An awesome humpback
We swim together
Grand beasts of the sea
Species of ilk
In total agree
Our sonar detects
That the water were in
For the many months
Of journey swim
For one third of a year
In our holiday home
Me and my cousins
Our freedom to roam
