Near ocean surf, buds bloom.
Duet-sashay in silky dress.
Side to side sway of locks.
Teeny feet in tall grass.
Brunette and strawberry blonde.
Pinwheel-limbs like pale ballerinas.
Midnight-bare without glass,
Fairy-soles in overgrown freesia.
Sisters in momentum of glee.
Brushed eyes, opened and closed.
Dreamers adrift on waft canvas.
Ebb-flow of pink stars, superimposed.

Spring with full bright blossoms in cheers or zing.
Dulcet sunshine never turning scorcher.
Pigeons flutter in frolic to fling.
Colourful flowers blooming : Spring’s culture.
Crocus showing delightful decorum .
Cosmos glistening yellow -violet chiffon
Cloudless sky shine silky on Sun’s spectrum.
Butterflies flying freely off and on.
Bidding bye to snowy frosty Winter,
Fresh freesia sending sweet scent to flow.
Lively lovely jolly Spring to enter.
Birds sing honouring holy Spring to bow.
Spring stitching luminous lustre like gold.
Resurrection of soothing sense from cold .

To lose you, seeing
One so immersed
In a light, silken petalled
As soft dispersed
Least concerning if
So clearly fair
But scented for the freesia
One's presence there!

We wander through so many gardens,
doting robins, ignoring the crows.
Our personal oasis is an unfinished poem.
Plastic flowers may last longer, but their dead scent,
cannot compare to freesia and frangipani.
In fading grey sunset,
I crumble, crouching in musk air.
An arch frame with withered wood skin
and paint peeling in need of black dye,
but still Shalimar honeysuckle wraps like a quilt,
weaving around amber roses and velvet clematis.
Battle scarred thorns may stick and prick
these gangly timber legs, but each blemish
is soothed from butterflies floating from petal to petal.
In speeding winds I rock like an armchair,
helpless to save cherry blossoms falling,
creating a carpet of pink upon flakes of green.
Knotweeds sneak through a resurfaced pebble path,
but my dandelion heart seems fond of its purple tint.
Midnight raindrops sting like sake,
but I know dawn will bring bright blue skies.

COLOURFUL
Allium is raising king Spring’s alarm
Easter red bud is shining in red glow.
Freesia sending descent scent to flow.
Crocus is spreading Spring’s first cheerful charm.
Daffodils dance delight in decorum
Hyacinths honor holy Spring to bow
Gorgeous Gardenia loves to grow.
Begonia is beating loud Spring’s drum.
Flowers not extra or season's burden.
Iris idly smiles sweet and shyly nod
Kangaroo paw beautifies mother tree.
Marigold makes merry in Spring-Garden
Jasmine looks gracious as gift of God
Dazzling Lilies glaze, smile and swing in glee.

Strolling down the old, gray, cobblestone path, encircled by soft shade,
Golden plumes enhanced by indigo and violet are visible as light fades.
The emerald and clover leaves of willows weep, drooping from limbs overhead,
bubbling, trickling, water is audible from a nearby creek bed.
Freesia, Lavender, and sweet honeysuckle scents hang in the air.
Succulent, juicy, and tempting ripe fruit hang everywhere.
Desiring a taste, I clutch a shimmering, burgundy plum,
I lose myself in the decadence of its flesh on my tongue.
Suddenly, a soft, gentle breeze teases my hair, tickling my skin,
Alas, I awaken, to pull on my overalls, and head outside and begin,
It’s not as perfect as what my dreams held within,
not as fragrant, shady, or filled to the brim,
but as I bite the product of my own hard work again,
I realize it’s MY perfect garden.

The sweetest fresh aroma filling a room.
tufts of narrow leaves a summer bloom
like trumpets all in a row
on Wiry stems grow.
Colours bright
graceful
a delight.
Used in bottled scents
a symbol of innocence.
Pure white chosen for a wedding day
proudly adorning a blushing brides bouquet.

It was summertime and the day was turning red,
The freesia hours had gone past in loveliness;
And upon a limb sat a black crow with a cherry,
For 'twas suppertime and a banquet was spread!
A starlight dinner rather than dancing candles,
And skies went from crimson to ruby to garnet.
Porcelain moonlight gleamed on silken feathers,
And black roses flung dusky scents with abandon.
The red ember sun glowed fiercely horizontally,
Still highlighting the beauty of my cherry tree!

Dear Rosie so sweet, no so clue
Less I long for the day you grow and you bloom
How I wish for your petals to not fall but rise
But you are no fool for my pretty little lies.
I owe you for nothing and for nothing I owe
Longing for a simple smile and a lifeless hello
You never see me straight ahead
treating me like the dirt for your rose bed.
I am no Freesia full of passion and joy
I am a Daisy known not to tell of your judgment and sour pollen tube
Tell I will when the sun arises
Tell I will when you all seem too good to bloom
So now your leaves fall as they do
I continue to wonder how you grew
You smell bad and look Astray with you big stem which don’t stand straight
Do not look at me for help when you follow the flow
Keep sitting still and be gone
You say that makes no sense but I was doing it for years
So stand still, be strong and most of all hold on
Finally, it is my time I watch your petals fall and mine will arise

Dainty Freesia clings on stem, leaf by leaf
adorning July a lush motif
to weave grandeur through the night
when bold scents invite--
rich display
of curls,
mauve, blue-gray:
Fields soak in her charm
as bell-like outlines disarm
one summer’s thrilled nearness, its rebirth
enchanting my heart in this landscape of mirth.

Green shoots start emerging from a tiny corm
vibrant flowers bloom when sun is warm
I drink in their sweet perfume
in my living room.
I adore
bright blooms
I want more
in purple and red
growing in my flower bed
freesia flowers give such delight
their jeweled colors are a glorious sight

Johnny, jump up, spring thyme has sprung!
Sun's morning glory pours into your window peaks.
Arise, tired eyes, lift your cheeks with a smile!
Kiss me sweetly; These tulips are for you.
Lettuce turnip the volume of robins' chirping
by a closer stride, a stroll outside.
Take a breath of fresh air, as it freesia.
Butterflies drink from the dew of the buttercups.
Bluebells are ringing a welcoming beet.
Blue birds are singing their rhapsodies.
Lilacs are back in full bloom.
Make room for Dusty Miller.
His baby's breath is stiller
than a sweet pea in the valley.
Orange you happy that you rose up
to see our mums in perfect peace?
Cauliflower a weed or a treat;
Some flowers are even healthy to eat!
Lettuce romaine here and taste the scene.
Thistle be an amazing spring!

A reflection of the coloured pencil drawn sky
skates on the glass smooth surface below it.
While a rebellious group of shades take their positions
on a glorious stage to express themselves artistically and
I...
i think of you
Wisps of clouds shaped like a palm leaf
fan the winds that stoke the fire
of a randomly sketched sunset.
I...
i think of you
The cool of an ocean breeze
travels the shadows of this low lit evening.
Caresses my skin like the essence of romance.
Enthralled by the allure of a candle lit sky,
I...
i think of you...
Our French Bakery early mornings.
Café au lait and croissants.
Our freesia soaked baths.
Your mink soft body.
Its milk and honey scent.
As I fall off
the edge of the world,
I...
i think of you.

Tiny tips of green thrusting their way through the cold earth
You look and scratch your head and wonder, what did i plant there
Its cold, the tiny bulbs shiver as though close to death
Being a friendly gardener I try to block the wind with care
Be off with you winter you've been here far to long move over for the spring
You have had your monents your chances to shine
You brought the snow to impress us and make childrens voices ring
Winter blues are all but over now , spring will be just fine.
Snow is beautiful I must admit, soft yet scrunchy underneath your feet
The snowman the children built did look rather swell
Carrot nose sultana eyes and clothes I hadnt finished with yet
But with the sun peeping out, poor snowman doesnt look so well
So wintry sun are you the guide for springs sunshine, you pathe the way
So those poor tips of green will grow and bring forth flowers galore
The daffodils, tulips, freesia and snowdrops, loving the day
That the sun will help you forget those winter blues for sure.

I’ve befriended lovers:
I’ve befriended lovers daft as harlots cleaved
like the glass in extrinsic films.
My sagacity has matured like adult freesia.
I had been saturated within tasteful ages.
I built fences near the trestles of disbelief.
I sought to sip of the finer fountains.
Yonder echoes throughout Canada I had heard
Touring along the avenues of Abbotsford
Nature testifying betwixt an epicurean draught
I’ve befriended lovers:
Daft, apathetic lovers.
My sagacity has matured like adult freesia
