freedom of speech is our right ~ don't defame those that don't agree with you

Premium Member freedom of speech

the page seemed innocent on the screen play of life
not yet computed and sterile but what better adaptation
of blocked writing by an innocent censor of apathy
for an empty cartridge on the blank canvas called reality

and yet what a relief that neurons had exhausted themselves
firing at invisible problems and surreal contenders for
thought of the moment and contempt fixed in time
synaptic displacement idiosyncratic only in absence

refuge or incarceration straitjacket of nothingness’ boredom
or maybe serene uneventfulness unfolding in languished arrest
framed as reference point of perplexing perspective
and finally an outburst of words with whatever elusive meaning there is …

Freedom Of Speech?

I try to keep my eyes covered
I try to keep my ears blocked
I try to keep my mouth shut
Do not let your opinion be known
Keep everything to yourselves
They make laws about what we know
Jail sentences for what we say
And cancellations if we are right
So, just ignore what you have learned
Freedom of speech is well in the past
Just something you hear about
Something you will never experience
Something you may regret knowing about
Because soon, even knowing about it will be illegal

Speak stronger and louder with outrage assert
Right, Left or inane, it keeps us alert
Our First Amendment rights
Can be shorn overnight
When the Man shouts “quiet and you won’t get hurt!”

In a land that slaughters babies
where critique gets you arrested
old ladies will complain
when you exercise it
white people it seems
have more rights than
the oppressed
many dead
they wear orange hats
Cinderella fears them
these old witches
brewing racism and hate

“Gone Girl” a novel by Gillian Flynn

Riddles, my wife loved games of amusement
I never found out the clue of why
she had gone missing, accuse me?
I was spent on our anniversary
Under mysterious circumstances
Nothing is what it seems
Nick and Amy’s duality
Identity, masculinity
For once I didn’t feel like I was struggling
Iconic cool girl persona
The girl men like Nick want
Never get angry, party girl, let men do what they do
Women’s issues, an essay Amy would write
Molding herself into that girl reinventing herself
Image and alter-ego are everything!
Appearance verses reality
Genuine pleasure to read
Oh, she has the last word
A classic Who done it? distinct subgenre
Surprising and masterfully done
Amy is smart, self-aware with a vindictive psyche
Warning authors of their marriage
Nick’s side or Amy’s?
Two very different humans
They both prove to be unreliable
Awry, a thriller of unease

Live Free or Die

Live free or die!
Well, we’re all gonna die,
But living and dying free
Is obviously the way to go.

Freedom of speech
May be the root of all our freedoms
But it’s meaningless
If all we can do is parrot others.

Look around
The night sky is daylight bright now
From all the gaslighting we see streaming
From every pore of every mainstream media whore.

The blind are blind not from birth
But from having their heads buried in sand
For so long
They can’t tell up from down.

Nothing new under the sun
And Plato spilled the beans long ago
On the blind
In their caves of unknowing.

But the point is you have to see for yourself
To know the truth,
And as all truth knowers know,
Only the truth will set you free.

The Freedom of Speech

My soul is crushed and heavy
Beneath the words I kept within
Weighed down it’s caged, it’s silent
A dark place of wondering
If anything could have changed.
Should I have said what's inside?

In my dreams, I speak them
I say all I wished to
But my nightmares are silent
Unspoken words drift around
Maybe everything would change
if I had the strength to speak

Would speaking them free me?
Would my soul be easy and light
Maybe the words will end me
Or I’ll accept my whole past
And next time I’ll speak freely

But one day my soul will be free.

signs of anti-free of speech
very big clear signs

unless the writer
has to delete a comment
for a good reason

First Amendment Anthem

Freedom's song, first amendment's grace,
A symphony of rights we all embrace.
Speech unchained, beliefs untamed,
Press unburdened, grievances proclaimed.
In liberty's embrace, democracy inflames.

Freedom of Speech

There are too many idiots
who don’t like to hear
the facts or opposite opinions,
and they often produce,
especially in the meetings,
or in their own unions,
the strange sound ‘boo’,
They must be thinking of
being popular attractions in a zoo

Wind whistled in the trees, dropping pinecones on the ground
The blue shade of the mountains, merged with the sound
The cool breeze touched my face, waking me for the day
Opening up doors of freedom for all I want to say
Freedom of speech, is something we must keep!
We are lost without it, from all that we reap
Stand strong with everything that you have to say
What happens tomorrow also comes from today!

The Forbidden Metaverses

Questions that can't be Answered
vs Answers that can't be Questioned.
It is not up to you to choose.
Which side of self is the
darkside of the room?
PRC-13, Theta Bravo.
Ideas Satellite-, a skull shaped moon.

Light, is it beaming?
Do you choose for yourself, sensitivity.
Scheming.
Relativity.
Double dealing.
Do you choose them, to live your
conscience for you?

Over sunsets cover, lies are lies,
but all one truth.
Starblind.
Starstruck.
Eyes are eyes, but the World sees better than you.
Especially we, visionaries-true.
Here is our wisdom.
Do not pre-judge "the lost",
they deserve a future-with our protections too.
Although,
it would be interesting to know,
"how does silence come by you?"
Is it the relaxing, kind?
Peaceful, isn't it.
A one way transmission is how
refection can work, like a mirror, image,
of the Beast, in you.

As for the suggestion box contributors, YELPing.
We do not need programming suggestions.
You need ours in double helping.
Just sit down and STFU.

You are now a Terrorist,
held for questioning.

Freedom of Speech

Freedom of speech is not what we want to hear
Freedom of speech is harsh criticism we bear
Let the critics speak without fear
Freedom of speech is the fundamental principle of expression
Let's not oppress speakers by giving them concession.
Note. Abusive language is inappropriate.
