Inevitable Procession

If you were to ask me
Be the one to catch me, before i take the fall
You'd be the only one waiting, afterall
For whence i open my mouth and
Spill a sea of pills tinged with reddened liquor
I think you'd listen, then
If i took advice from any voice, it'd say 'give up'
But then again the only advice i ever took was the gurgles from down below
Onwards, outwards, suck inwards and hollow
If i gouged the gurgles, they'd say 'continue'
They'd count on me as i count every zero
They'd hold onto my head while i clutch the bottle
But, you'd catch me.
Incase i couldn't catch me
You'd advise me to give up
But i'd have fallen from your grasp
Onwards, downwards, i'd ignore the numbers from the liquor
For they'd spill from my mouth ever quicker
I'd have lost count, either way.
Hey, what did you want to say?

WAITING

I SIT IN STILLNESS, HOURS UNFOLD,
THE SKY TURNS SILVER, THEN DEEP GOLD.
A CLOCK TICKS SOFT UPON THE WALL,
A VOICE TO FAINT, A DISTANT CALL.

THE AIR IS THICK WITH MIGHT-HAVE-BEENS,
LIKE WHISPERED THOUGHTS ON QUIET WINDS.
EACH BREATH A PAUSE, EACH PAUSE A PRAYER,
FOR SOMETHING MORE THAN EMPTY AIR.

I PLANT MY HOPES LIKE SEEDS IN SAND,
AND STRETCH TIME OUT WITH OPEN HANDS.
THE WORLD KEEPS MOVING, UNAWARE,
WHILE I REMAIN, JUST WAITING THERE.

NOT ALL WHO WAIT ARE LOST OR WEAK,
SOME HOLD THEIR SILENCE WHILE THEY SEEK.
A LOVER'S STEP, A SIGN, A FLAME,
THE THINGS THAT COME BUT NEVER NAME.

SO I WILL WAIT, NOT OUT OF FEAR,
BUT FOR THE THING I HOLD MOST DEAR.
AND THOUGH IT HURTS, I STILL BELIEVE,
SOME GIFTS ARE SLOW, BUT WORTH THE GRIEF.

My Firstborn Son

He watches, observes and loves with all his heart
Reservedly waiting to see reciprocation or active participation
Thinking, offering ideas for all to embrace,
Satisfaction to behold and a joy that floods his young face.

Considering others in wake of their pain
He goes the extra mile to ensure protection and such detailed accomplishment
While allowing others to make their own mistakes,
He reflects a sweet combo of trust and consideration.

" Pleasure of love persists for short time, while pain of love lasts life long. "
           - Poet

He promised to be back by tomorrow :
Days after days, years after years are to follow
Till waiting, heart beats swinging to and fro.

Damaged

Damaged
A fragile beauty, with scars that shine like stars, her soul entwined in thorns, yet her spirit glows with love"s sweet fire. Her eyes hold whispers of forgotten dreams, tears etched on porcelain skin, a heart once broken, now mended with a strength unspoken. And so, she stands, her head held high, through wounded, she refuses to die. For in the depths of her pain, she finds a reason to continue, to heal to love again. With hope in her voice, she sings a melody of resilience, her song echoes across the landscape, reminding us all that even in darkness, there is light waiting to be found. Premium MemberCounting down-The long game

Lock me in a room for days
Suffocating in purple haze
Tried so hard to change my ways
Catch me from this second chance floor
I used the window, but you slammed the door
No, holding me close like you did before
No use hiding anymore

I've been holding it so long
I forgot how to breathe
I've been waiting so long
I forgot how to leave
Drag my troubles away
Until I forget how to grieve

Lost in a maze, you can't help but inveigh
Draw your money, I tallied the day
Count your blessings, and I'll count your flaws
That pinned me down between your claws
Now pick my bones out from your jaws

And fold our paper life away
Tell me now; it's not okay
I dragged my troubles away
'Cause I forgot how to grieve

a flame no wind could touch

I searched for light
in the spaces you left behind—
in empty chairs at dinner,
in the silence that lingered after your name.

I thought if I tried hard enough,
if I gave enough,
I could bring it back—
the warmth, the glow,
the feeling of being whole.

But the more I gave,
the smaller I became,
until I couldn’t tell
if I was searching for you,
or for the pieces of myself
I had lost along the way.

Then one night,
when the silence grew too heavy to hold,
it broke open.

And in its stillness,
I saw her—
the girl I had forgotten,
waiting through every heartbreak,
every loss.

She wasn’t asking to be saved,
only to be seen—
how she stood,
quiet and steady,
a flame no wind could touch.

The light I was chasing
was never yours to give.
It had always been here,
within her,
within me,
burning steadily through it all.

I am the light I thought I had lost—
not because I am unbroken,
but because I have learned
to hold the cracks
and still shine.

Still waiting

I know I’ll never reach you now,
But if someday you reach me somehow,
I’ll pour my heart, let it all unfold,
Reveal the truths I’ve always controlled.

I’ll tell you how I’ve felt through years,
The nights I drowned in silent tears.
I cried for you, though I let you go,
You stood by me—but I didn’t show.

I don’t know now how you might feel,
Unseen by you, my love is real.
I’m still there, trapped in that space,
Where our paths split, leaving no trace.

I untied the knot, but not by will,
Time and tides broke what stood still.
I never wished for us to part,
You were my soul, my beating heart.

Now you’ve moved on, far and wide,
Do I even cross your mind, inside?
How can I tell you I linger there,
In a world where we were a perfect pair?

Despite the distance—both vast and near,
I sense a bond that feels so clear.
But is it my dream, a fleeting thought,
Or do you feel the same, though we’re apart?

So I wait, in silence, for your sign,
One word, one gesture, to make you mine.
I’ll come running, my heart laid bare,
Because you’re the only one—I swear.

TRIBUTE TO MY DAD

On the 4th of December 2015
You departed
For a journey of no return
Going beyond
Leaving behind
All you love and worked for
None can fill the void you left behind
We miss you our lovely father
Rest in power not in peace, dad.

You were a mantle of leadership
A man of integrity and more
Always guiding and protecting
All you love unapologetically
Love you always give without hesitating
Telling us it's the greatest force in the Universe
Death is inevitable and life is unpurchaseable.

You departed without a notice
After a brief illness
While we were all waiting for your healing
You left when we needed you most
You were so crazy about your ambition
Leaving a legacy behind your priority
We still aching from the pains of your deceased
This trauma is forever, our irreplaceable dad
You'll forever live in our hearts, your children.

Shadows of Yearning

In the darkness where our voices merge
You moved forward, causing me to stumble and bend.
Your gentle touch sparked a fire within me
Now yearning, longing, without ending.

You approached first, your eyes bright like the morning sun
Pulling me near, making my heart soar.
Then you withdrew, leaving me to grapple
With dreams of us now laid to rest.

Your touch, unique, a melody of the night
I still yearn for it in the light of day in others,
They are shadows compared to your presence,
I seek what you once craved

They chase the surface, shallow quest,
They ache, hearts unfound,
Lost in longing, love unbound.
They’ve never known nor felt the spark,
Of love that lights the deepest dark.

Nights filled with desire but lacking love's essence.
I yearn for depths where hearts intertwine,
Where love blossoms in its form.

Lost as I may be, hope guides my path
In a world that may seem shallow but is crystal clear.
there lies a profound love
Waiting to be found and cherished.

I can’t wait to love and be loved right,
To find a heart that mirrors you.

Premium MemberCould I Be The One For Him

Was he the one waiting for you?
Had he found that one true love in you?

Her for him

B I would like to talk a little about myself through your eyes, a white canvas in which the night dresses my skin like the moon, in which my eyes like stars pierce your dreams and your most intimate and perverse secrets that would break social conventions. my lips like my large areolas and my pronounced nipples make you gape, my like the flower of the devil and of passion, it remains delicate and blooming, waiting for its key so as to unlock eternal winters and welcome hot summers and violent rains, and what about my body that you consider beautiful, soft at the corners like a small temple of the most ancient springs that seeks its strong column to support itself from the timely moods, perhaps above you, your sex, you know that you I love you, you see how I am when I'm around, innocent little girl.

Premium MemberYou and the Moon

and, glad the last astronaut there left the light on
I stand by the back door, you have the TV on loud
a coin so high, mid toss heads or tails, who knows
it’s like waiting for rainbows at night, stars to melt
but the laugh’s on you, I could lean here for hours

I don't matter.
I've never mattered to anyone
I don't matter

No one's waiting for me
And I wait for no one
I could have been a light in the night

I could have been a beacon in the dark
I could have been the shepherd's star
To find my way in the darkness

Of the blue moon
Who looks at me tonight
and for whom I matter

For once in my life
I can count on her
I count 1,2,3
And here I am
Ready to pick it up again for me
And for you too

You who look at me tonight by the moonlight
I can count on you
I can count on you
Blue glow
In the middle
of the indigo ocean

We Were Young

When I look at your picture
The first thing I see
Is your laughing brown eyes
Smiling at me
When we talked
We talked for hours
And I remember the day
You brought me flowers
We were so young then
We hadn’t a clue
That our time was running out
That God was waiting for you
I wept in the church
As our friends said goodbyes
I wept in our room
As tears fell from my eyes
Now I look at your picture
And the first thing I see
Is your sad, loving eyes
I know you’re waiting for me
