She wanders where the salt-mist clings,
A pale silhouette on the shore,
While in her heart, a sorrow sings
For him who sails the deep once more.
Her gown is woven from the spray,
Her eyes are mirrors of the tide;
She watches through the dying day
With nowhere left for grief to hide.
The waves deliver only foam,
The gulls cry out a lonely plea;
She waits for him to turn for home,
From out the dark and restless sea.
Though seasons shift and stars turn cold,
And years dissolve in silver light,
Her vigil remains as it was of old,

The man in the elevator entered with me from top floor
of a ten storied building and stood front, close to door.
Each time elevator stopped, he got out and confronting collision,

At last I got scope to ask him , when we reached the ground level.
He explained, her girl friend is waiting in front of the elevator.

So he is cheking in which floor she is waiting for her lover !

I wished for him conveying ' Good Luck ' and bade bye.
He again entered the elevator , suppressing his sigh !

I drove through the fog with a sunshine glow
Wondering what I’d see when it lifts, needing to know
Would it be the woods, mountains or people hand in hand?
Rivers flowing through valleys or instead, flat open land?
No, it was you, standing there waiting for me
