Beneath a darkly frigid sky
you left, lonely, without saying why.
But before the evening shadow
I noticed—your face looked rather shallow.

Then you disappeared into the night
while the moon was covered still.
And I’m left to ponder—was I right?
No, I’m not the one who left you ill.

The Reality of Life

Philip's aunt is not flippant!
 But Adam's aunt is Adamant!
Comfort is on chair,
And she is comfortable,
How so when she is not Mensiah, Faso?
Oh wow! So Denis can be dentist,
Ahh... and Albert is here while others Advert,
Silly! Call me our Asian friend- Billy,
That to do, I should plea?
My coach is my co,
ouch! Another pinch,
No wonder, he hates to see me on the couch.

True, “I can do all things” can describe our race,
Not 5Ks we enter, but trials we face.
‘Cuz setting a PR is not what he meant;
In plenty and want, about being content.

With Christ as our portion, there’s nothing we lack;
The Son in our face means the wind at our back.
He’s not an enhancer, nor a wonder drug,
But that doesn’t fit on the old coffee mug.

(from Philippians 4:13)

Flippant Foul Fowls

Most birds like to flock together
I wish to know now, where they are
I'd like to hold them and squeeze them
Since they crapped all over my car!

One for sure, I'd like to secure
It's forced expulsion was inclined
To smear my drivers side window
Left behind, what left it's behind!

Another foul fowl on my list
I'd like to have in my clutches
Smacked my windshield so deftly
It landed where no wiper touches!

But my enemy number one
Squeezed a bomb off with no concerns
It scored a hit on my bald head
That forced me to yell, "Ow it burns!"

Flippant Bio

Snuggle
Cuddly, sneezy, sleepy, tiring
Daughter of the seventies
Lover of chocolate, coca cola, and cheddar cheese
Who feels old, tired and useless
Who fears grey hair, wrinkles and flab
Who would like to see(but not likely in this life...)weight loss, peace and love, and regularity
Resident of Coolsville-USA

Flippant Ghost Tips

Rain clattered against the flashing glass windows opaque and frosty.
Howling winds lapping up the sparkling drops falling in moonlight:
Irritation of the night stalks the castle walls as fire logs burn within.
Candle light sway, on the mirror her face in beauty fondly calls me.

Zombie in crude automation I muster away a flying kiss; tag on a wink.
Shadows vanish as heart throbs break from waves in a lewd love scene.
Yonder curtain floats to curve in silence forgetful of my sly love blink
Tremble in ecstasy of fermenting charm as she walks up to kiss my lip.

Be a friend I am just a tease, as she curves her fingers for me to follow;
Escorts me through the ages and centuries into the vampire cold world:
Taste red as wine, fang your enemies, slice in cold blood, pursue odor.
Or face such fright, to be haunted day and night without an honest fight.

To perspire and sweat it out in dreams is more enchanting than Ghosts
Try to please this jinx but it ignites my tail; FUN? You stink have a bath.
