I’ve finished with travels, for I can’t agree
With the reasons I’m discriminated
Won’t pay for the visa a notable fee 
Won’t wait in the queue of migrated
I’m blamed for the crimes which I didn’t commit
Stigmatized for a thing they call “nation” 
I’ve nowhere to go and I’ve no one to meet
My train doesn’t stop at your

His body abused
His blood shed

She smiled as she looked at the old man sitting across the room
with whom she’s shared a life for 50 years…
50 years of joy and laughter mixed with a sprinkling of tears.

Just looking at him sometimes can cause her memories to stir.
She remembers, as if it were yesterday, the moment he proposed to her…

Henry Never Finished Anything

Henry never finished anything
He always had eight to twenty projects going
I am in the middle of that one, he would say.
And that one, and that one and that one.
If he was a murderer the world would be a safer place.
I never knew him to take anything to completion.

Finished product

Your past is the foundation for your future, but it doesn't have to be the finished product

'It' is Finished

My life slows down
more days in medical care than at home,
experts can’t track 
what makes my heart tick like it does.
My failing mind loses weight,
I’m moved to auxiliary care
longing for the end.
Do not grieve for me,
my life on earth is finished

Darkness fell like the heavy cloak of fear,
